As a Padawan who lived at the Great Temple on Ossus since he was an infant, Korine Ellyon was taught forms I through VI like all of the other initiates there as well as Jar'kai and Bo staff practices. However, he has yet to utilize a single style as his own.

Korine Ellyon is a young pupil eager, yet restraint to learn about the ways of the Force. He relies more on the diplomacy and tactics taught by the Jedi. Ellyon was taught to always use the lightsaber as a last resort for when you have to fight. He will always use whatever else is at his disposal before the lightsaber will be drawn. In most cases, Ellyon will not draw his lightsaber at all unless a fight is inevitable. He believes that a Jedi can be pacifistic before any use of the Force or a lightsaber come into play. He will talk his way out of situations, and is often successful. Though he is eager to learn the ways of the Force, he is respectful and retrained in use of its applications.
Ellyon is also adventurous and brave, but subtle and kind. The young pupil loves to go on adventures with his masters for he sees it as a chance to gain experience since he doesn't have very much time out on the field. Ellyon bravely does his missions, and does not fear taking responsibility for actions. While he is brave, he is not foolhardy. Ellyon knows that he needs to remain subtle, and not be too outrageous in whatever he does. Along with responsibility, this pupil is very kind and forgiving. Believing that within all people, there is good, and that no one is naturally evil. He respectfully believes that he can bring out the light in everyone. Ellyon is adventurous but subtle, and a brave and kind gentleman.
BIOGRAPHY:
Korine Ellyon was taken from birth to learn the ways of the Jedi and fulfill his destiny. Ellyon was born on the planet Tython, but was shortly moved to Ossus after he was found Force sensitive at birth. Why he was brought to the Great Temple on Ossus when there is a Jedi Monastery on Tython remains a mystery. However the Jedi, felt it was important that his tutelage and growth take place on Ossus. When he was brought there, he was raised by the Jedi. Like all of the other students, Ellyon was taught the ways of the Force, the lightsaber, and the Jedi.
Korine Ellyon had few experiences outside the Great Temple on Ossus, but those he did have were quite adventurous and exciting. Young in his tutelage at the age of nine, Ellyon went with a group of younglings and a Jedi instructor to a Force sensitive cave on Ilum. They were there for practical instruction on crystals and their importance in a lightsaber. Half way through the tutelage, there was a rock fall that trapped young Ellyon from the rest of the group. While the Masters were attempting to break through the rocks and boulders, the young boy was already attempting to find a way out. Through his exploration, he found a rare cache of Pontite crystals. Once the Masters had broken through, they found Ellyon with the cache of rare crystals. They rewarded him by giving him a Pontite crystal as a souvenir.
There was also a time on Circarpous V where Korine Ellyon went on another adventure. At thirteen, he was heading with the other initiates for an important lesson on control. However, the ship suffered some malfunctions during the travel and crashed somewhere in the forest. While most of the initiates were able to stay together, some were separated from the group. One of the ones separated was young Ellyon. While the other initiates stayed together until they were found, Ellyon decided to do some exploring. He stumbled upon some rubble that looked like it had come from a mountain close by. Looking through it, he found a beautiful uncut crystal. While he didn't know what the crystal was, it was a deep-crimson color with a faint glow, and it was warm to touch. He decided to keep it as yet another souvenir. Eventually, he was found by the others and everyone went home safely once the rescue transport arrived.
Korine Ellyon is very confused about his future as he isn't sure where his life will go. Young Ellyon hasn't met his master yet, and is currently going to see him now. Little does he know, his training will be very intense...
