In orbit over Anaxes

After a sudden loss of communication from the entire Axum system, the Republic had sent a team to investigate this strange mystery. The senate hadn't ruled out a system wide blackout, or even a Sith attack, but the main planet Anaxes was a well known world within the Republic. It was the world where future naval and tactical officers went to study at the most prestigious of war colleges and academies. It was also a fortress. Many of the finest, albeit small, Republic warships were stationed in the space above the planet. Outposts were scattered across all of the system's other planetary bodies, asteroid fields and gas giants. Even those simple hyperspace beacons and deepspace signal relays were protected by at least one patrol ship. So the idea of an attack that somehow put Anaxes off the grid was considered near impossible. But it somehow happened. And a week after the blackout, the Republic finally sent their small corvette of volunteers and a handful of enlisted troopers to 'check on' the system to see if everything was alright.

Upon exiting lightspeed the corvette would end up by the darker side of the planet, but instead of seeing the glowing yellow dots emanating from the huge populated cities on the surface, they would instead see are far more ominous sight. The surface was ablaze. The crew might not even notice massive chunks of floating debris that almost immediately started to bump off the ship. Destroyed satellites, civilian freighters and even Republic navy ships were seen. It was a drifting graveyard. No other ships in the system could be seen, just the wreckages. Indicating something terribly wrong has happened, and is still happening.

The Czerka Corporation - Advanced Research Vessel
Anaxes - Orbit

Standing on the bridge of the Czerkan Vessel, Commander Anton Saric of the Czerkan Advanced Research Fleet eyed the planet below, a cold steel in his eyes. Several days ago their sensors had detected something out of the ordinary around Anaxes, odd signals and much worse - a lack of life forms. The Republic had not consulted the company, and therefore Czerka had decided to move in without their support or permission.

They had scrambled their research vessel with all haste to the system, which had now rendezvous with the republic fleet, ready to explore whatever lay on the planet below. It was a simple vessel, lightly armed against star-fighter attack or torpedo strike, but it was what was on board that made it so formidable - a mobile research station, with a horrifying past.

Inside the ship, could be found nearly eight-hundred Czerkans, two-hundred science staff, and the rest elite security. Each section of the vessel was locked off, containing labs for research, and holding cells for containment of subjects. Anton Saric himself - a record of special operations service - turned from the bridge, to walk down to the analysis laboratory for information processing.

Flanked by two Security Operatives he walked past the storage room for the combat droids, observing as they where brought online by other members of the Security Team, before eventually arriving in the analysis lab. Several men could be seen in the neighboring room, HAZMAT Suits on to prepare for receiving infected people or items.

He patched himself through to the Republic Vessel nearby ''This is Captain Anton Saric, Czerka Security. I assume this is a Republic Operation?'' he said down the commlink, before finally awaiting a reply. He was impatient to get started, and see what was on the planet below - and hoped the Republic would not stall him like they normally did.

"Peace, Tranquility, Calmity, we are all one with the force, through it all things are with us through the bond we share, and when death calls the force shall claim us once more. This is the cycle of the force, it has and always will flow in this way. Through it- Arg!"
Adun paused in the middle of his lesson. Voices in the billions screamed in his ears, crys of agony, terror, rage, and then just as they came the voices disappeared, and in their place the graying knight felt a feeling of emptiness. He looked upon the small children he had been teaching, confusion and worried looks they wore.
"Initiates, excuse me for a moment, a matter has just occurred." He said with a breathlessness to his voice. "Stay in your seats, I shall return shortly." With that Adun, left the class room, panic and worry etched into his mind. I must tell the other. He thought. perhaps they had sensed it too.
....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
That was almost a week ago, and now here the Corellian knight stood looking down at the dead world from the cockpit of their capital ship. His robes hung loosely from his form he put a hand out to the view screen glass before him. He spoke aloud to no one in particular as he lamented. "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I feared something terrible has happened. But this. I never could have imagined...."
No words could describe the horror and dread he found as he looked upon the dead world. How many? Why? Who? Or even What could have done this? Not even the Sith could be capable of such destruction. All this questions, so much uncertainty ate at him. "Sir, transmission coming from a Czerka model research vessel." A communication officer shouted. "Patch it through." Adun ordered. Perhaps they could shed some light on this event. 'This is Captain Anton Saric, Czerka Security. I assume this is a Republic Operation?''
"This is Jedi Knight Adun Umari speaking. Negative Captain, we are investigating the loss of contact with the citizens of Anaxes and the disappearance of the Republic defense force." Adun winced, he hated protocol, but being with on a Republic ship he had to be professional. "Please, leave the vector immediately, we have not been able to identify the cause of this incident and it is unsafe for your vessel to proceed."
Adun sighed and stepped away from the view port, the sight of the planet below was too much. "Please, do the scan again. Are you sure there is no life down there?" He asked one of the nearby techs. This did not bode well. He suppressed the urge to yawn and rubbed his eyes, he hadn't slept well since the sensation hit. He turned to the others assembled on the bridge. "Anyone else have any ideas?"

Karma knew what death felt like through the force. It called to him, played with the little fabrics of his mind, pulling the strings. To be honest, it was possible that even the non force sensitive felt it. The wave of death as the screams sent a shockwave of emotion through the force. And Karma loved it. Emotions were a new thing to him, he still didn't understand it all yet. But this feeling... of death was just wonderful. And Karma wanted more. He craved it, he needed another shot of that feeling.

The supreme leader knew this. It was obvious to anyone in the Sacred Band that Karma wasn't particularly right, especially for a teen. He was more dangerous than most of them, feared by his own brothers for being ruthless and his reputation for getting the job done. No matter what.

He was called upon, at first, it didn't seem like an interesting mission. Find a missing informant, who provided lots of worthwhile information on Republic bases and operations. What was peculiar to him was that when the informant was missing, he was in the large republic fortress that was located on Anaxes. However, the source of agony and dread that had been pinpointed there. So it would be in the best interest for all of the Brotherhood to know exactly what had occurred on the planets surface. And that was Karma's job, find out what had happened and report back.

That was him away, set off from Zoist, all the way to Anaxes. It was a long journey but that gave him more time to prepare for what he might face. He had came fully equipped with his trusty rifle, his dual WESTAR-37 pistols and and an assortment of various types of grenades. Of course, he couldn't forget his double bladed lightsaber, which was attached nicely underneath his tight waistcoat.

He knew it was a republic world so he had to be careful. However when he finally arrived at his destination, he was met with two looming starships, one bearing the symbols of the Republic and another was a Czerka vessel and Karma was awkwardly placed in the middle of the two looming ships. Karma docked quickly on the Republic ship, after he had managed to convice the other participant on comms that he was a Republic Special Soldier.

He was told he would be needed on the bridge as soon as he landed by one of the attendants in the hanger. He was met with awkward glares as he walked down the long halls towards the bridge. He certainly looked out of place, considering he was a teen agent. He looked like he was going to a party instead of a warzone, with all black attire and his assortment of weapons.

He entered the bridge in a hurry and was immediately met with the sight of a Jedi! As if this couldn't get worst enough. Hell, if he got caught, he would be done for. "Good day Mr Jedi! I haven't been briefed, and I was called here on short notice. What is going on?"

It was an informal gesture but he wanted to put the Jedi on the spot

Ganthrax Midanyl was assigned to the planet of Anaxes, on what appeared to be strange circumstances. He called forth his droid and said. "Lightspeed to the planet Anaxes." Bleeped a few times and it went to the control panel of the ship. Ganthrax braced himself, as he did not like using light speed that much. The ship shot forward and a few blurry lines appeared infront of the Karkarodon. He shook his head, Next time, I'm riding with someone else. Ganthrax was just outside Anaxes' field of view. When he spotted both a republic ship and what seemed to be a Czerka ship. He knew this would happen.

Ganthrax decided which one would be better for boarding, the Czerka or the Republic. He decided on the republic, he helped a few jedi take down a slave trade organization. Ganthrax just had to hope that he would be welcome. He tapped a few buttons and sent a recorded message over to the ship.
"Greetings, I was assigned here by my employer. Permission to board?" He said, sounding as professional as he could. He took this chance to check over his equipment.

He unchained his pet Lawgriffarl from his bed and whistled, calling forth his companion. The Lawgriffarl stood up and charged at Ganthrax playfully, he couldn't help but smile at the damn thing. He make a hand gesture as to say "Follow me" and the Lawgriffarl obliged. Ganthrax walked over to his weapon's chest and pulled out a pair of revolvers, smoke pellets, a few incendiary grenades and his trusty assault rifle. Ganthrax also placed his gauntlets on and tightened them to his wrists. He applied some chest and leg armour to his trusty Lawgriffarl, and for finishing touches he placed a snazzy looking helmet on him. The sight of him made Ganthrax giggle a bit.

Ganthrax immediately returned to the ship's pilot seat. He turned inter comms back on and waited for a reply from the Republic.

Alexandra had been asked to come on the mission to Anaxes to check some things out. She was teaching another class of older padawans who were very engaged with what she had been teaching them. "Ok Padawans, go ahead and ignite your sabers and let's continue on the form I taught you a few seconds ago." she said as she ignited one of her own sabers and started leading them in teaching the different saber forms. "Sierra, get your blade up a bit higher." she said to one of her students. "Good, there you go." Just then she felt pain, fear and death. A worried look spread across her face as she put her saber away and looked at the students who were suddenly confused. "Kids, go ahead and pair up to work on your combat skills. I will return shortly." she said. She then made her way to meet up with another Jedi master with the name of Adun Umari.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A week later, Alexandra was working with the same students doing the same training. "Alright kids, go ahead and take a break, I must report to the front of the ship." she said as she then made her way to the cockpit. Alexandra had arrived to the cockpit around the same time Karma had appeared on the ship. She gave a short nod to him before turning to Adun and walking down the bridge to him. "It hasn't gotten any better. I don't sense any life on there at all. And who knows what else could be down there." she responded to his question.

Gorman felt the breath catch in his throat as he gazed down upon the razed planet in horror. He had ben training upon Ziost with his fellow brothers when the orders had come through. Apparently another Sacred Band member by the name of Karma had been sent on a mission to recover a lost spy. A simple enough task, even on a republic world like Anaxes, but apparently higher-ups believed that the mission was going to be "extremely difficult." They hadn't even told him why they thought that, he had simply been told to go check out the situation and aide his fellow Brother. His captain's own words " I'm sure you can deal with whatever comes your way" was most of the instruction he had received before being sent on his way.

And so Gorman had "borrowed" a buddy's ship and quickly jumped into hyperspace like a good soldier, speeding towards his ally in need, ready to throw down. Now though, gazing upon the ruined world, he wasn't sure he could deal with it. He was sure about one thing, the spy wasn't gonna be found anytime soon and judging by the ship wreckage he had to zig-zag through, he wasn't gonna find any survivors either.

He had come out of hyperspace well within view of the planet but was also staring at the tail end of a republic corvette. Beyond the republic ship, he could just make out another vessel. While he couldn't make out who it belonged to, he could detect the last known signal from his fellow brother, which was coming from inside the Republic ship. Gorman sighed and pounded the dash, he was currently flying a X-57 Starfighter which was well recognized as a Sith ship. It meant that he couldn't possibly follow Karma onto the Republic corvette.

Instead, Gorman turned his fighter around, flying back to hide behind some debris. He would wait to see what the other ships did and then follow their lead. He wasn't here to fight the republic, he was going to investigate the chaos below, and he didn't want to go it alone. Hopefully he had so far remained unseen, and could simply shadow any other forces that went to investigate.

Ganthrax decided that he was sick of waiting for the republic to answer. He took a deep breath and entered Anaxes' atmosphere, he eventually touched down and landed. He stood up from his seat and whistled for his Lawgriffarl to follow. Ganthrax took a look out the side window, it was very odd. The whole planet was like one great big pile of nothing Obviously teeming with some kind of despicable creatures and somewhat else. He stepped out, expecting a giant jumpscare, but nothing appeared. Ganthrax pulled out a flashlight and circled around his ship, trying to detect any kind of movement, whilst his companion growled furiously. Obviously a blackout had occured, or Ganthrax was in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, his ship was secure.

Ganthrax took one last look around his ship then proceeded to re-enter his vessel. Ganthrax pressed a button on his gauntlet and the ramp was slowly raised as his Lawgriffarl clambered on. Ganthrax decided it would be best if he contacted the others, maybe by putting up a beacon of some sorts. He decided a beacon would be better. Ganthrax walked over to his pilots seat and pressed a few buttons on the control panel, then a very bright green beam shot up, clearly visible from outside the planet, and it lingered there for quite some time (Maybe about 10 minutes). Ganthrax turned the major head lights on and two white lights appeared on the front-side of the ship.
"Guess I better wait it out." He said to his pet.

Inaction was the death of empires, this much was known. The Republic was once again demonstrating their incredibly lack of forethought and had still yet to decide on a course of action. It was for the reason that private industry would always outdo the state.

He said nothing, for nothing was needed to be said, and simply instructed via his comms unit that the research vessel break the planets atmosphere. He checked him own ammunition and equipment, assured that the superior training of his men would mean that they had already seen to their own.

Soon the Company would be ready to see what truly had become of Anaxes.

Adun eyed the republic soldier as he entered, but turned his gaze towards the jedi knight who arrived at the same time.
"I feel the same way Alexandra. Every living creature on that planet, just gone. But we need to start figuring out what to do from here. Ensign Gulvar."
"Sir?" A young Mon Calamaria shot straight up from his communication terminal.
"Send a encrpyted transmission back to Chandrilla, tell them what happened. Redirect it as many times as you need to, I don't want a single citizen being able to get a hold of this." The aged human ordered.
With the manner dealt with, he turned his attention to the republic task member that had entered just a moment ago.
"We were never told that the republic was sending in special forces. If you don't mind me asking, who let you on this ship?"His left pupil shifted from the once calm green into a dull gray as he looked into the man's force presence. Something was amiss here and Adun was going to figure it out. In an instant, he was shown the natures of the force within those around him. Everyone around him came off as the typical gray or light blue aura, with his fellow jedi night glowing a aqua color, there was only one exception; this so called republic soldier glowed with a dark crimson aura. Typically, a small amount of red was normal within special forces groups, due to the heavy fighting and nature of their missions the stress of battle caused them to not always make the right decisions, but this shade belonged to only a select few of individuals; the Sith themselves. Adun's first instinct was to fight the intruder, but here on the bridge was not the place especially while on an assignment as inportant as this. While Adun knew he could handle the man before him, the damages that would be inflicted would be detrimental to the mission. No, he'd isolate the Sith once they were clear of the brdige and get to the bottom of this.
"As the one in charge of this operation, you must inform me of the mission before coming aboard this vessel according to Ariticle one twenty nine, sub section fifty seven line twelve. Why exactly are you here?." Adun asked, preparing himself to restrain the Sith if his question had cause him to react. He also had completely made the Articles up, but if this trooper was really a trooper he'd know that. And just in case his force sight would let him know if the man was trying to use any powers against him before the Sith could even summon the will to do so. Another comm's officer spoke, but Adun's attention was on the "trooper" before him.
"Sir! A small ship just came into our scopes and is heading towards the planet. It tried to hail us, then just cut off communications before they could get through."

He said nothing, for nothing was needed to be said, and simply instructed via his comms unit that the research vessel break the planet's atmosphere. He checked his own ammunition and equipment, assured that the superior training of his men would mean that they had already seen to their own.

Soon the Company would be ready to see what truly had become of Anaxes.

As the Czerka research ship approached the surface, the state of the planet became more clear. There were notably much more clouds, watery clouds and smoke clouds alike, and where there was supposed to be a massive oceans, there wasn't. The ground was a distinctive orange/brown and often black like color and large columns of smoke could be scene across random spots around the area the ship flew above. Not only did the surface look like it was on fire, but there were large lakes of molten rock and lava scattered around the entire area. There were not many naturally occurring lava lakes on Anaxes. Too see so many lakes not just scattered about the area, but could be seen stretching on all the way past the horizon. Yet whatever or whoever caused this massive scale of destruction was nowhere to be found.

The scanners would read nothing other than the lifeforms aboard the ship. Further scanning would indicate temperatures soared just over 45 degrees celsius, the colder regions that is. The air was barely breathable and compared to that of a planet like Mustafar or Sullust, but that wouldn't matter. The radiation that was now coming off the charred surface would kill a man instantly.

Minutes after flying through the atmosphere a beam of purple light originating from the ground somewhere would burst through the middle of the ship and disappear a second later. The ship exploded, split in two and began to fall to the ground. Better hope you have some HAZMAT suits near the bridge somewhere. Have fun down there.

The ships in orbit would no doubt suddenly loose contact from the ship.

Karma stared at the planet while the Jedi were talking, he was curious about the planet's face turned into a monstrosity from the once beautiful planet.

I feel the same way Alexandra. Every living creature on that planet, just gone. But we need to start figuring out what to do from here.

"Wait, Everyone's gone? Dead? How is that possible?"

Even this confused him as he couldn't help but feel like something was seriously wrong about this whole situation. He didn't know any technology that could do such a thing. It was a curious thing, but a powerful and deadly thing. He knew that if he found it, it would help destroy the Republic, but even he couldn't trust it in the Sith's hands. It isn't honourable and it was a cowardly move, exactly why he wanted that machine dead. He was so lost in though, he barely heard the Jedi speak to him. His head snapped up when the Jedi asked his question.

"We were never told that the republic was sending in special forces. If you don't mind me asking, who let you on this ship?"

"My original mission was to deal with a Sith infiltrator that had been sending secure Republic details to the Sith Brotherhood on various plans and tech developments. I was to deal with that infiltrator as I pleased without Republic jurisdiction, meaning that I would not have to answer to any crime that I committed over the course of this operation. However, I feel like the parameters have been changed after learning and feeling like something wasn't right. So I came aboard your vessel after asking your communication officer."

Karma noticed Adun's eye go Gray as he looked at his force presence.

"I know what you are doing Master Jedi, I am a force sensitive after all. I was taught when someone would be looking at my force signature."

He could feel the bridges eye's burn on him in suspicious and alarm at the prospect of a Sith infiltrator being on-board their vessel. This certainly was a predicament. However, Karma had escaped worse situations and knew that he would be able to escape the ship if trouble ever arised. So he would play the game for this time being and hopefully not get caught by the Jedi on-board.

"As the one in charge of this operation, you must inform me of the mission before coming aboard this vessel according to Ariticle one twenty nine, sub section fifty seven line twelve. Why exactly are you here?."

"While you can say that Article One twenty nine, sub section fifty seven line twelve provides me to tell you of my business on your ship, I believe I have already told you that. However, Article One sixteen, sub section twently two line 5 also states that a Republic Special Forces member can go on-board a Republic vessel if the parameters of their mission is altered. I believe that to be quite so, don't you?"

Karma walked towards the door leading out of the bridge but just before he left, he turned around and faced the two Jedi on the bridge and stared at them, his red eyes angrily staring into their's

"Next time you DARE accuse me of being a Sith, I won't take it as kindly as I did today"

He turned round and looked at the crew that was still staring at him. He could feel his eye's burning into them in anger.

"That goes for all of you WHO DARE TREAT ME AS A SITH! This will be noted and passed to a commander back home. Is that understood?"

Karma looked around to the members who glanced down at their work once he had gotten angry, no objections were made. At least not aloud.

"Good, continue your work"

and with that, he turned and left the bridge. He smirked as he walked away. His performance was exceptional, and if it all went to plan, he should have no problem staying on-board till the time was right

"I don't know what we can do to change it. Do we go to war with whoever is out there?" she asked confusedly. Alexandra then turned to the man who had just entered and shrugged. "We don't know. That's mainly why we're here, to find out what and/or who killed the population of this planet. It's truly impossible to wipe an entire population right off the planet." she said looking from him and then back to Adun who seemed to have been searching for Karma's force presence.

Alexandra mainly kept quiet as Karma and Adun poked at each other until Alex had just had enough. "Ok boys, come on. Lay off and get along with each other. What's going on now is already bad enough, we don't need more fighting and destruction on this ship." she looked mainly at Adun when she mentioned destruction because she sensed his want to immediately go after Karma upon meeting him. "What we need now more than ever are allies. So for forces sake, forget force signatures and move on!" she said firmly and seriously. Honestly, if these two butted heads, hell would break loose in two seconds and hell plus more had already destroyed the planet before them.

She then watched as Karma stomped off before then turning around and his red eyes burned into her icy blue ones. When he stared into hers, she stared into his directly and with double the amount of forcefulness he had given her first. She wasn't afraid of him and it would be easily told by the way she had returned his stare directly back into his own eyes. She had dealt with much stronger Sith brotherhood figures who were much higher up than him and more advanced and she had still beaten them without a scratch.

Before Karma could walk out the door, Alex spoke up once more trying to change their minds. "Hell has already broken loose including whatever else could very well be down there, which we have no idea what it is. Now both of you two arguing and throwing accusations at each other isn't going to solve the task at hand or our problems. So you both had better cut it out now and learn to work together even though you may not like it. Fighting and arguing like children will /not/ be tolerated under any circumstances." she paused for a second. "So, I will ask you. Is /that/ understood?" she asked, putting her hands on her hips. She had truly reached her peak of hearing arguments. It felt like she was talking to her Padawans.. even they were being more mature than the two going at each other.

She then watched as Karma stomped out the door and she looked to Adun sighing. "Dare? Who does he think we are? Children??" she asked as she then turned and walked to get a view of the desolate planet.

Gorman remained hidden behind his cover for quite some time, sitting stagnant in his fighter while he debated what to do. While watching his scanner, he was surprised to see the other ship suddenly descend down to the planet alone the Republic corvette remaining in orbit. His vigil remained uninterrupted as the Republic ship stayed put, no signs of movement of any sort, apparently content to leave exploration to the other vessel.

He could only wait for so long however and he commenced smacking the dash in frustration as his patience finally ran out. The Starfighter cockpit was not designed for someone of his species. He was already shoved into a to-small space but the cramped area was and had been putting some serious stress on his wings. Fed up, Gorman reached for communications console.

He couldn't care less about Karma at this point. Mission or not, this starship was killing him and the informant still needed to be found or at least verified as dead. Either way he had two parts to his mission, help his brother and contact the informant. As Karma was currently out of reach and contact, Gorman went with the other option. He had no expectation of finding the spy, but he had to at least make an effort. Still hidden in debris, a respectable distance from the Corvette's tail end, Gorman attempted to open a direct channel to the Republic craft.

"Hail Republic vessel, this is an observer sent to survey the situation developing here at Anaxes. I'm currently several hundred meters off the front end of your vessel hidden within some wreckage. I was sent here to take a look-see at the situation and as you can see yourself, it's a pretty big situation. I'm going to depart for the surface soon and I want your assurances that I will not be shot to pieces. I am not hostile and am simply completing a survey mission for an independent company. Do I have your permission to go ahead?"

He was not having a very good day, this much became abundantly clear as he was jolted to the wall of the shuttle he and his immediate retinue found themselves in by what was quite clearly some sort of orbital attack. Nothing could have come from a life-less planet! his mind screamed, immediately apportioning blame onto the Republic Ship as he desperately strapped himself into the chair of the shuttle, as it spun out of the side of the now useless Czerka Research Vessel. Slamming his hand onto the rail by his head, he braced for impact, one that never came - as the pilot righted the shuttle as it broke the atmosphere, bringing it to a controlled emergency landing on the surface below.

The all clear came from the bridge, and the assembled Czerka Security Personnel activated their masks, securing a safe breathable environment for them. Anton acted with haste, instructing the men outside to see what had become of the planet below, as he soon began to communicate with the Companies HQ - requesting backup as soon as possible, to ward of what Anton considered to be a Republic attack. Turning on his communicator, he hailed the nearby Czerka research moon - a simple base they used for illegal research.

''This is Anton Saric, Czerka Research No.998. Come in, I repeat, come in!'' he shouted down the hailer, hoping for a reply.

From the ship's crash site one might be able to see something shiny in the distance, about two kilometers away. It was in the air, and there wasn't just one, but two. It was picking up dust and ash, and it was closing in. As the shiny figures came closer, one could make out oddly coloured purple vehicles approaching. They were really fast and one could hear the rumble of what sounded like high pitched jet engines. They soon zoomed over the crash sight incredibly quickly and hovered over the other side of the ship. The view is obscured and one could not see what was happening.

As Karma left the room, Adun saw his chance. He gripped his lightsaber in his hand and began to walk towards the door. "Alexandra, while I do believe you are right, my senses tell me that man is a S-"
"Sir, we have a communication coming in from a ship."
The knight stopped and sighed. No, he couldn't let his emotions get in the way. He was the commander here. "Bring it up Ensign."
Adun listened intently to the message and turned back to the bridge crew. This ship gave no identification for who or what it was with, yet asked not to be fired upon. "Can we get a lock on the transponder code? Find out What model or class it is?" He asked.
"Negative sir, it's transponder is scrambled. Could just be a smuggler ship."
Adun paused for a moment and sighed. "Give the man permission, but tell him to stay out of the path of our guns."
"Sir, Czerka ship has dropped off rader, no contact." Another comm's man shouted.
The middle aged knight turned towards him. "Are you telling me an entire ship just disappeared?"
The poor communication officer only offered a shrug as he flipped through multiple screens. "It's just gone....Not showing up on any scans.... Wait, priority distress message. It's weak but I'm bringing it up."
With a click of a button, the message was brought up on the central holoscreen for all on the bridge to see. The image was badly garbled, and audio was barely audio able through static, but the main message was clear; that ship was in trouble.
Adun paused in contemplation. He looked towards his fellow knight, and back at the frozen image in front of him. He could go after the Sith, end him right now, but doing so would put the mission and the life of those scientist in jeopardy. With a grunt, the knight clipped his weapon back onto his belt and approached the command terminal. He called upon the knowledge he had of commanding ships and hoped it was enough to get them through. "All crew, this is Jedi Knight Adun Umari speaking. All hands prepare your battle stations. I repeat all hands to battle stations." He spoke into the intercom, as soon red flashing lights would signal the command he had just given. He switched over to the Engineering department and gave another command. "Move us into the Troposphere of the planet, shields at full. Alert me if anything is out of the ordinary on the atmospheric readings." He stepped away from the terminal and walked towards the front of the ship, gesturing for Alex to follow him. "Get the scanning team up and running. Scan for any unusual metal composites in the atmosphere. Also, look for infrequant Ionization patterns. If a ship has shielding then it'll displace a large amount of ions in the atmosphere." Doing this would allow them to determine if there was a ship or craft of any type in the air. Their exact location or size would be difficult to determine, but then they could know how high or low it was and get a rough outline of where it was. "Alex, if anything happens to me your in charge of this ship." He sighed and turned towards her. "The force is telling me something has gone horribly wrong, not everyone will be coming back from this I fear."

Ganthrax looked out his rear view window and he could slightly make out around two smaller ships at the crash site. Ganthrax rubbed his chin, as if he had a beard. He was confused if he should engage or not. They might be weirdly coloured friendly ships or enemies. Ganthrax decided to go investigate on foot, he whistled for his small Lawgriffarl companion and the creature barked with joy and followed behind the Karkarodon. Ganthrax pressed a button on his ship's control panel and the ramp lowered, only for a minute. He swiftly exited the vessel with his pet close behind. Ganthrax readied his rifle and began his rather short walk.

As he approached the crash site, he decided to take this slowly. Hoping not to get in any gunfights, if they were enemy ships he'd be outnumbered. Ganthrax took cover behind a small portion of the ship and zoomed in on his binoculars, maybe trying to get a quick look at the pilots. But he did not see a single soul. He then decided to look for an entrance to the ship, he found a thin part of the ship's walls and he decided to detonate a small satchel charge. He applied it onto the wall, took a few paces back and set the charge off. It made a small enough hole for him to crawl through, thankfully. Ganthrax flicked his rifle back to safety and entered the ship via the hole.

Ganthrax called out "Anyone here? I'd really like to help you lot out of this hell hole." When he said it back in his mind, he didn't sound too convincing. His voice sounded like a snake, if snakes could even talk. If they could it would sound a bit like that. Ganthrax raised his weapon again, this time turning the safety off, and began to make his way down a kind of hallway. He was still hoping for that response.

Then it dawned on Ganthrax, where the hell was his pet? His beloved Lawgriffarl. He turned his head around and, he didn't know how, he saw his pet trying to bite his own tail. Ganthrax took this opportunity to take a quick rest, it was going to be hell trying to find those survivors.

Karma walked proudly towards his ship to grab his various weapons that he had left behind and his umbrella. The umbrella was important to him and he loved it dearly. He quickly waltzed out of his ship just as the alarm ringed around him. He waltzed over to the guard nearby as everyone started running around. Karma leaned over and playfully whispered in his ear

"Well, that looks like my cue! I'm so sorry it had to be you."

Karma's full demenour changed as he pulled out a pistol before firing it into the man's stomach. The man splurted blood as he collapsed in a pool of his own red liquid. Karma turned before pulling out his other gun, firing upon the staff that were running along the hanger bays in a hurry.

"HAHAHA ISN'T THIS FUN!!! OH YOUR SCREAMING IS JUST.. THRILLING!!! SCREAM MORE MOREEE!!!!!!!!!"

Karma continued to laugh until everyone was dead. The hanger finally silent with only the tiny laughter giggling from the teen's mouth. He quickly straightened up and smoothed out his waistcoat and finally opening his umbrella, slinging it over his shoulder like Mary Poppins. And with that, he made his way back to the bridge getting ready to pay his hosts a visit.

Alex was just about to respond to Adun until a man interrupted them. At that point she kept silent and decided to look out the front windshield to notice purple colored ships landing inside of the imploded ship. Her eyes widened at the sight of unknown beings boarding. She then heard one of the commanders mention something about the Czerka ship going offline and she turned around to face them. "Yeah, that ship is offline due to extra terrestrial beings who just landed inside of the ship. I think they're in bigger trouble than we can know." she stated, answering both Adun and the commander's question.

Alex and Adun exchanged glances with each other as she came and stood next to him, looking at the holo message that came through to them. As she looked closer, she noticed one of the beings' faces in the message. Somebody had to help this ship and crew very soon or the entire thing would fall into deep space's clutches.

When he motioned for Alex to follow, she was immediately at Adun's side and listened to the commands he gave her. With a brief and quick nod, she was going to start moving to go for the scanning team, but her attention was brought back to Adun as he addressed her more seriously. She couldn't believe what he was saying. Was he really thinking he wasn't going to be back? Yes, she would take care of the crew and ship.

"I can promise that this ship will be in good hands, but please think positive for once. You have a family."
she was then about to turn around again to go to the scanning crew until she remembered something. "And Adun, stay safe and may the force be with you." she said before then running off to get to the scanning team.

Once she arrived to her position, she sat in a commander's seat and quickly hit a few buttons here and there. "Widen all scans. Scan for infrequant Ionization patterns and any unusual metal composites in the atmosphere." she said.
