Bar in Ord Antalaha

The port city of Fort Divin bustled with activity ships were constantly entering and leaving the port most armed and few looking the same. A haven for pirates ships would come sell their ill gotten wares as wells as to allow their crews to unwind among their own kind as Fort Divin offered anything one could desire. The Captains Deck was a bar for those with money to burn, the owner prided herself with having the best of everything from food and Drinks to Dancers and Spice. It in here Dev sat across from an attractive Twi 'lek woman telling a half true story about escaping a republic patrol, her slim figure and laugh had him fall from her.

"So then I dived between the two ships, the gap was that small I could feel the belly of my own scrapping against the one below me" Dev's hands moved as told his tale pausing as he reached for his drink.

"What happened next ?" The Twi'lek asked showing that beautiful smile of hers he had already forgotten her name or she hadn't told him at this point Dev wast sure as was to afraid to ask.

"Well I plotted a jump to the nearest system and- oh Griff" Through the front door of the Bar a Bothan entered flaked by a Wookie and a number of assorted thugs behind him all of them armed a thug turned to the barkeep and handed her a package. The barkeeper eyed it suspiciously before clapping her hands and saying something in a language he didn't recognize. With a clap of her hands all the staff left the building in a rush leaving customers looking confused.

"I think we should leave now" Dev said looking at the Bothan from across the room

"Don't think so handsome" said the Twi'lek pressing a pistol into his stomach "The boss there was offering a pretty reward for you"

"Crap" Dev sat back down in his seat watching as the customers finally realized what was happening and rushed out of whatever exit was closest to them.

"Devhec long time no see, how's my ship" The Bothan said raising his arms in greeting as he walked to where Dev was siting.

"You mean my ship, Zahvan I earned it" Dev replied

"You stole it you mean" Zahavan said as he gestured with his hand, The Wookie stepped forward and delivered a hook pulling it back enough so it didn't knock Dev unconscious but still caused enough pain to cause him to cry out in pain. "You should know better then to steal from me Dev"

Dev's pistol was still holstered on his hip but the number of guns pointed at him was more then enough encouragement for him to decide not to draw.

Triter Zonne
watched as the bartender, a rather attractive (by the Amaran's standards) Squib female, paused just before pouring the pirate's drink, set down the bottle which had been poised over the glass, and scurried into the back of the cantina toward a rear door.
"Hey! Hey! What kind of service is this?!"
It had been about to be the first decent alcohol Triter had imbibed in months. Months of dead-end jobs and drinking turbine fuel in dives had finally paid off; the little Amaran had suffered and toiled, but finally, his latest employment had given him considerably more than two decicreds to rub together. For days, days, the pirate had been looking forward to visiting the fanciest establishment in town, sitting down at the bar and being properly served a drink that would not strip the lining of his esophagus.
He looked forlornly at the pyramidal bottle of Cassandran brandy, its accompanying smart-glass snifter glinting in the light, its design tuned to conduct just the right amount of heat from his hand into the brandy as he held it, releasing its more subtle flavors. During his time under Captain Hasperre, the young Amaran had been taught the finer points of drinking certain beverages...
Triter gritted his teeth, a barely audible growl coming from between them.
"You stole it, you mean." The Amaran finally heard the voice speak, his quietly seething anger making him more alert. "You should know better than to steal from me, Dev."
Triter looked over his shoulder.
There were a lot of them, the Amaran noticed; Ord Antalaha, planet of pirates, had no shortage of thugs, a fact which Triter was beginning to find tiresome. He had hoped that by coming to the planet he could find a better class of marauder than the bottom-tier crews he had worked with in the past, but instead he had just found a lot more of them.
This particular group was menacing a human-looking male sitting at a table. Triter had noticed him and his Twi'lek companion when he came into the bar; the Twi'lek now seemed to be holding a blaster to the male's gut.
The crime boss was making a show of telling the male just how he had karked up.
Mistake. The Amaran thought to himself. You've just shown me the person responsible for interrupting my drink...

Dev's mind raced, his faced hurt from being punched the Twi'lek was prodding a pistol into his gut and Zahavan's thugs had him outgunned. So Dev decided to what he did best talk griff and what for an opportunity. " I'm pretty sure you stole from me first Zahavan, you promised me payment for that job" His voice sounding innocent as possible.

"And you got it ! Five thousand credits paid in full" Zahavan snapped back.

"We agreed at least twenty -" The rest of Dev's comment was cut off as the Wookie punched him in the face again making him cry out in pain. Dev did his best attempt to glare back at the Wookie but with the pain making his eyes tear up it looked pretty pathetic. Behind the Wookie however Dev spotted an Amaran still seated at his table looking over his shoulder. Dev smiled as an idea formed in his mind.

"I cant believe you walked right into this Zahavan" his tone mocking " Didn't even notice that this was a trap". Zahavans thugs spun around as Dev pointed at the Amaran, clearly they were amateurs as everyone except Zahavan spun to look even the Twi'lek had pulled her pistol away from Dev.

"Its just one guy" A thug said.

"Just one ?, Just one ?, This is Ridina Tong, Scourge of Corusant the most dangerous killer in the core worlds, wanted for assassinations and mass murders, they say he shot his way through an entire tactical police unit with nothing but a pistol , he cost me a pretty penny to hire him but its worth it"

"Never heard of him" Zahvan said anger written across his face

Dev shrugged "I don't think that bothers him, I'm sure your all just another Job to him" This was directed at the thugs rather than the Bothan there were five including the wookie a young human in the group looked uncomfortable

"uuhh Boss what do we do ?" the young thug said looking awkward holding blaster pointing at the ground

"You'll shut up if you want to get paid" Zahvan snapped, his men stiffed at looking more confident, " You" he said looking and the Amaran now "Are you with him or not ?"

Triter couldn't help but blink in surprise as the human - Hapan, he realized now, having been able to study his too-perfect features - pointed at him, and proceeded to make up a story. Slowly, he swiveled around in his bar-stool to face the crowd, looking at Dev and tilting his head to one side in a vulpine expression of curiosity.
On the one hand, the Amaran had to admire stones on this particular low-life. On the other, the Hapan had now gotten him involved in a fight that was not his own, and which he had previously wanted no part of. He could fight, true enough, but a whole gang of beings both taller and stronger than he was, and armed to boot, was a bit more than he could reliably handle.
He suppressed a sigh.
Kark it.
"Boss, when you said you had some people you needed me to handle, I wasn't expecting... this." The Amaran said, waving dismissively at the assembled thugs. "Seems to me you're paying more than this job is worth. So, I'll make you a deal, hm?"
Triter hopped down from his bar-stool. He barely came up to the Wookiee's hip, but he looked over him and the others as he walked toward the group, hands shoved in the hip pockets of his pilot suit.
"These guys shouldn't be any trouble." He said, grinning with an array of small but very sharp teeth. "Unless these gentlebeings decide maybe they'd like to live... let's say, half price?"
He studied the gangsters to see how they would react. If they called his bluff, things would get dicey...

Dev couldn't help but smile as the Amaran played along with his story and was even surprised as he approached the armed group appearing casual with his hands in his pockets. The thugs on the other hand appeared appeared to be a mixed bunch; the less experienced looking thugs were clearly nervous constantly shifting their grips on their weapons and constantly glancing from the Amaran to the door. On the other hand the Wookie let out a cry that Dev couldn't understand and looked to Zahvan as if asking what to do. Dev didn't get the chance to see how the Twi'lek took the Amaran's display as she shoved the pistol further into him.

Zahvan himself just seemed annoyed and went to say something but was cut off by Dev, " Can't say no to half price with what you charge" before pointing at the thug who was clearly nervous. "What do you think ?" he asked the thug , "Do really think the risk is worth what Zahvan's paying you, I mean Ridina did say you could leave alive"

The thug becoming increasingly uncomfortable took a looked around the room before throwing his gun to the ground and running out the door there was an awkward silence for a moment followed by a cluttering of noise as more weapons where tossed to the ground then two more of the thugs run from the room.

"Get back here you fools" Zahavan yelled, the wookie said something in its own language and fired its bow caster it the fleeing group but missing. Now only Zahvan along with Wookie and the Twi'lek where the only thugs remaining in the room.

Triter sighed theatrically, watching the gangsters scramble as fast as they could out of the cantina. Idly, he walked over to one of their fallen weapons and picked it up, examining it with apparent disdain.
I am far better at this than I should be.
"So."
The Amaran spun back around. In his hands was a blaster carbine, an older model but still plenty effective in the right hands, which Triter endeavored to portray he had, aiming the weapon at the Wookiee and Dev with what seemed practiced ease. Triter was indeed experienced with ranged weapons of all types, so this did not take much acting on his part.
"I'll let you think on what the boss just said. Leave now, and maybe I won't come after you. Or stay, and sell your lives cheap."
He clicked off the safety on the blaster theatrically. That it had been on in the first place said something about the thugs Zahvan employed.
"But time is credits. I won't wait long for your decision."

Dev couldn't believe his luck so far and so like any good gambler he decided to push it a bit further and see how far he could trust this Amaran. The Wookie was unreadable , Zahavan was most certainly mad and the Twi'lek seemed unnerved at the loss of the taking her pistol away from Dev and pointing it at the Amaran.

"Give it up Zahavan" Dev said standing up from his seat; to his disappointment the Twi'lek whipped her gun back his direction tracing Dev as he moved circling Zahavan until he blocked the Twi'lek's shot.

"Dev you wont be walking out this room alive now, and I will be getting that ship back" replied Zahavan reaching for his own blaster.

The sound of Dev's pistol rang out as he shot the Bothan in the stomach having just drawn his pistol a fraction of a second faster then Zahavan. Dev was already running for safety before the Bothan's body hit the ground firing as he moved before jumping behind the bar counter. Each of shots missed the Wookie and Twi'lek but it was enough to make them flinch and begin shotting wildly in return and managing to keep Dev pinned behind the counter.
