A few years ago, Jhon might’ve enjoyed getting into a sarcastic back and forth, but not anymore. Especially not right now. He wasn’t about to stand around and argue, and he had already sized up this woman’s domineering personality the moment she raised her blasters towards him. Slowly, so as to not seem threatening, Jhon stepped around her and sat on the back of the speeder; he knew she wasn’t about to let him drive.

“Well come on then, princess,” he snapped. “Show me what you two have got.”

She thought back to that day almost 12 years ago and could remember it like it was yesterday. There wasn't a day that went by that her mind didn't relive those moments. Some might call the nightmarish memories regret, but to her they were merely memories.. Sad memories. Before she could respond to her once elder the explosion would go off, and the pain which followed was reminiscent of her time on Zebitrope IV. The flash hit her first, her eyes burning with a sudden pain that even the Force had a hard time shielding. The concussive force of the explosion is what hit her next, rocking her chest with an impact that far outweighed the gravity of Jhon's own tackle.

Trapped beneath the man her thoughts raced on what had happened. As her senses began to regroup she'd drop that mask which hid her Force Signature so well and her presence would truly be felt. The Force would ground the former Jedi Knight Aÿisha Remy as the energy of the very room finally flowed not just into her, but through her. Pushing herself off the floor at long last she'd see the back of Jhon as he pushed the door open; for a disabled man he still had some agility about him. Moving towards the door herself, it was her grounded connection that could feel Jhon so suddenly stop; then she sensed what had stopped him. Going from a stride to a push her body no longer moved at the door but instead ran through it.

With a flick of the wrist the doorway opened with the aid of the Force and Remy's right foot planted against cantina groundwork one last time. With one more Force aided push her body would take flight, her eyes narrowed on either blaster the woman held. With only a slight calling the staff the woman was notorious for would come to her hands and activate in a whirl of purple. As quickly as that initial blast would go off her strike would take place, the intention to split both weapons in two in one slice of her own.

If everything went to plan her own feet would impact sand and continue on, her eyes fixated on the speeders.

Though Jhon didn’t feel threatened by the woman he had encountered, nor did he need rescuing, Remy’s leap towards them proved most opportune. Jhon hadn’t intended to argue about whether he could take the speeder, but that didn’t mean he wanted to share. Using Remy’s attack as cover, Jhon slid forward onto the speeder’s seat and quickly activated its engines. Before Remy could hit the ground, Jhon was away, twisting and turning through the streets of Mos Eisley in the direction that the rest of the commotion had gone.

Jhon may have made it away, but that didn’t mean he was out of the woods yet. He had no idea who had taken Lana or what was ahead, and the woman from whom he had stolen the speeder would likely be none too happy. He had no doubt he’d be seeing her soon. There was one more speeder left, after all.

"Just another day on Tatooine," he muttered to himself as he throttled forward, towards the direction of the kidnappers.

As the figure came bursting through the door, leaping into the air, ACE narrowed her eyes. Rather then raising her blasters to aim at the attacker, her instead swept her hand up. A massive column of sand and dust exploded from the ground, scattering in every direction as a geyser of kinetic energy tore upwards at the attacker. Mid-air as she was and unanchored, the kinetic blast would surely send her even further skyward, giving the trio ample time to escape. Whether the woman even survived the fall was hardly a concern.

As ACE turned back around, she was greeted by a buffeting wind that almost bowled her over, as the old Jedi sped away on what used to be her speeder bike. Cursing under her breath, she jogged over to Elliot and the second speeder, holstering her blasters as she hopped on the back.

"Be sure to remind me in future: I now hate old people," She growled as Elliot gunned the engines, sending the pair tearing down the street after the Jedi, who now had a considerable lead.

With an unknown suddenness Aÿisha's body would be caught with a powerful gust of wind. As she felt her body change directions her mind couldn't help but think of the last time she had found herself in the situation; it had to of been months if not years. As her mind broke the thought she would only have enough time to let out a blast of Force energy of her own. The wave would barrel upwards catching her body like a blanket before it inevitably crashed into the ground. The impact in turn was much softer as the aches that came were only enough to hold her in place temporarily. The reminder of pain coursing through her entire body remove her face from the cold sand only to see the second speeder shoot off into the distance.

"...Great."

Rising to her feet she'd call her lightsaber to her hand before clipping it to its resting place at her side. Taking her first step in the speeders direction her eyes merely searched for a 'ride' of her own.
