Lianna, 1800 local time
Cyutadakyr sat alone in a small but somewhat opulent restaurant, the sort that the poor saw as fancy and the rich saw beneath them. It was the perfect location to meet a middle manager, someone with a little too many credits and far too much self-importance to keep them. Tonight's target was a local prison superintendent who had a reputation for being a difficult customer. He often drove prisoners to the point of their untimely demise but in return, his so-called labor force made him increasingly rich which would have been fine if not for his skimming from the top being noticed.
Still, proof of these crimes was not found and so it became their task to investigate the rumors and either substantiate or squash them.
Assuming her companion for the evening would show, the pair would meet with him and discuss a personal interest that Cyu was pursuing. Plus, she considered, having a solid alibi would allow them to properly investigate the man and his business without drawing the wrong kind of attention. If they played their cards right he'd invite them right in and wouldn't even realize what they were doing until it was too late.
Nova arrived first, as timely as ever which would give them a little time to discuss privately before the guest of honor arrived. "You must be Acolyte Trent, I'm Acolyte Cyutadakyr. Come sit with me, we have much to discuss." Cyu drew a friendly smile to her face as her companion arrived. Her own crimson complexion blushed colorfully under the blissful light offered by the scores of chandeliers hanging above them.
"Tell me," she inquired with a mischievous grin. "Do you believe in the supernatural?"
