As god of sleep, my minions shall bring what I deem acceptable to the minds of sleeping mortals; I shall also have minions who shall bring nightmares, for with pleasure must come pain.

There's no balance..lol. You need a god of wisdom calling shots and wanting to thwert the attacks of the other gods, and there are many other types of gods that haven't been taken:p[/b]
Go ahead; You haven't called anything yet

I think I picked a rather good power to control. I control dreams and nightmares.

War would cover a search for honor, glory, battle lust, etc. Yet, in history it's not uncommon to see many gods and goddesses overlapping.

What would a god look like? And the powers you control should have some effect on your appearence.

Well, that's also up to personal preference. I (again) like the Tolkien idea, where gods' forms are like clothing, and they can take whatever form they want. They can also take no form and be invisible if they wish, and that is how our gods would begin. One would imagine they would then take a form similar either to humans or to their creations.

Look at Hades; portrayed as dark and gloomy or Zeus; bright, old, and strong-bodied. Or what about Anubis? A god of death with the head of a jackal or Hephestus; strong and portly yet carrying a limp.

How's this look for a profile? Not sure what to put...

Name: Kaba'al

Domains: Fear and Slaughter

Appearance:
Though generally considered humanoid in shape, Kaba'al is in fact far from it. His body is covered the in the rotting remains of fallen enemies. Blood, bile, and other bodily liquids drip unceasingly from his form, and he leaves an unmistakeakle trail wherever he goes. The mutilated corpses leave him with a foul odor.

Personality:
The phrase 'sick and twisted' originated with Kaba'al. And even if it didn't actually... it should have. Because he's sick. And twisted. He's not so crazy so as not to see logic, but he sure as hell is crazy enough to derive pleasure from the mindless suffering of others. Though Kaba'al enjoys what he does very much, that isn't to say he isn't efficient; his number one priority is to get what he needs to get done done, and that leads to a fairly determined nature. Khaba'al can get frustrated when things don't work out for him.

Weapons:
Vengeance and Horror, the twin greataxes of Kaba'al, are aptly named, for they leave much destruction in their wake! These divinely made axes are too unwieldy for most others untrained in the art to use, but for Kaba'al, they make for the perfect slaughtering machine! Each is able to be wielded in a single hand by the master of weaponry.

Both greataxes are identical, made of a mysterious dull metal. They appear to be old, ancient weapons and the blades themselves are covered in rust. However, if one were to touch the edge of these axes, they'd find that they are very sharp indeed. Both also drip blood from their axeheads indefinetely. Kaba'al does not carry his weapons with him; instead, the hilts of each stick out from his neck and torso, and he draws the weapons straight out of his body with a sickening squelching noise.

Race:
The Ussej are the race loyal to the brothers Kaba'al and Daedulus. They are not quite as evil as their patrons, but many other races would consider them bloodthirsty and barbaric. Though they are not uncivilized, they do enjoy spilling the blood of any non-Ussej, as outsiders are not considered one of the pack. Kaba'al and Daedulus have been accepted into the pack as 'alpha males' because, after all, they are both stronger and greater warriors than any Ussej could hope to be.

The Ussej male stands about six and a half feet tall with a wiry but muscular frame. Fur, generally a dark grey or black, covers their entire bodies and their heads are dog-like, with somewhat shorter snouts than your average canine but the same ears and fangs as a wolf. Their "hands" are halfway between paws and a normal human's hands; they have pads and claws, as well as fur, but their hands have been split up into somewhat stubby fingers able to grab things. When running, the Ussej are known to run on all fours for maximum speed. They are nocturnal animals primarily and have senses attuned for night life.

Ussej culture revolves around society and they respect anyone within the pack. Those outside the pack they hold great disdain for and do not associate with. Their is little concept of honor; merely survival of the pack and all else can rot. They are carnivorous and have nightly hunts followed by feasts at which all within the pack eat whatever the pack has gotten for the night.

Inventive. I like it.

EDIT: Do you plan on having a minion race? I'd describe them in a section as well. Also, if you have a human tribe udner your wing, you'll need to describe them as well.

Ussej, since you have command over warfare as a whole, I think your power over "Glory" would be weaker than mine if we were to go head to head. So yeah, I'm not your minion. Your god just sucks. Ass.

Also, heads up. I changed my domains. So suck on it if you have a problem.

Profile: Daedalus is the embodiment of rage incarnate. He is not insensible, though it will be a rare time when he says something not laced with sarcasm or anger. He considers himself superior to all other beings, and will fight any who even start to challenge him. If he is completely outmatched, he will cede victory, but will hold a grudge for all eternity, to the point of irrationality and fully beyond. On the nigh-miraculous occasion that he makes a friend, he will stand by them no matter what, and will avenge any slight against them one hundred fold. He rejoices in the sheer power rage can give, and the destruction that unfolds from it. Pain and death unto his enemies, the end of all that is tranquil, this is Daedalus.

Daedalus in his god form is rather terrifying. He is large, larger that truly be considered necessary, standing above most. His form is shining black, almost crystalline, possessing 4 thick arms, the lower two ending four-pronged pincers and the upper two ending in razor sharp blades. He has an almost spiderlike lower body, his torso projecting out from a eight legged carapace, just as crystalline. Each leg ends in a sharp point, each step stabbing the ground with great force. His head possesses 4 glowing red eyes, a smooth dome for the top of his head, and his mouth is filled with bright white teeth, each one as sharp as a stilleto knife. When he fully opens his mouth, two small hook arms extend from his mouth, the ends of which are tipped with two bright spikes, used to pull any sustenance he might be taking into his mouth. His speech is a raspy growl, though if he is entering battle he will yell a bloodcurdiling roar of pure unbridled rage.

The avatar of Daedalus is that of a large wolf. Its fur is pitch black, and slightly spiked, giving it a savage look. It wears armor that has been shaped for it, also pure black, seemingly made of leather, as well as a collar, at the bottom of which hangs a blood red stone. His eyes mirror the color of the stone, glowing red in any darkness they may be in. When he speaks, it is always in a low growl, no matter how loud it may be, and drool tends to drip from his jaws. When entering battle, he gives an unearthly howl and dives into the fray, heedless of his own safety. He is a beast of rage and death, and revels in it.

Dude, first off, you can call me Aaron, since It's still me. Secondly, My God rocks. I still beat you, since mine is also the God of Honor. War and Honor > Glory and Strength.
