Jakes back and head still hurt from when he crashed his fighter through the Pirate Fortress. At the time it was ok but Jake guessed all the adrenalin was helping but now it was starting to hurt, hurt enough that even a kid like him knew he should go see a doctor.

Getting dressed Jake gave a pained breath before walking down the corridor to where doctor Michael Octavian had set himself up. Knocking on the door he pushed it open and walked inside "Doc, any chance you can give me something for pain?"

Michael had only just started working for the Rebellion, having gotten in thanks to Freyja. It was really thanks to her that he survived the Imperial's. It wasn't like he was fully understanding everything. It was so weird once a humanitarian medical assistant now a rebel, and it was all because of some talk of being angry with the Empire. How that all worked out was beyond him, still he had taken with him some of the gear he had on him. Plus the rebellion being told he had some medical experience got him to working really quickly.

Walking around his own little room, so far there was little he had been given. Sure some medical gear and some supplies. But nothing that was needed for everything would actually be given he would have to grab from Imperial raids or making deals with criminals. It was really a shame, sure many people seemed to want to help but not many had skills besides shooting. Which was needed but not the only thing that makes up a rebellion.

Still as he was dealing with his own problems someone entered asking for some pain killers. Great another lose for his supplies.

"Sure come in. Sit down please." Pointing to a rather poorly made bed but it would no doubt hold the weight of the man.

Grabbing a datapad he walked over to the man with a few of his medical tools within his white cloak. A rather stereotypical look but still its huge pockets was very useful. Best to figure out how little pain killer was necessary since there was only so many he had.

"Alright so where is the pain and how bad is it?" Michael knew it would probably be somewhat overplayed as usually most soldiers don't come in unless they are overly worried about something.

Jake took a seat where directed and got as comfortable as he could. The bed was old and used to be rather dirty when in the hands of pirates but now it was old and clean. Doctors rooms where all so clean, far change from the rest of the rebel base.

"Mm while it is my back up to the neck. I was in a crash yesterday but it did not hurt back then but when I woke up this morning my back was paining." As he spoke Jake point his back and moved it up his body. "As for how painful, while I guess a 5 or 6 out of 10 I could still walk here so how bad could it be. Then my head hurts but I probably just bumped it on something in the crash."

Watching the man head to the bed, without seemingly any trouble. So no way it was any issue with his back or legs. Two serious areas that was one of the more common area's of issue for most rebels. Still looking over him Michael didn't want to over step in what was wrong with the man just ignore if there was anything serious. But as the man began speaking he did mention how his back was hurting which did annoy him somewhat. Still it couldn't be anything serious if he was able to move around fine.

Listening to the details, a crash could be bad but depends on what kind and how serious the crash was. Still best to do a check on the breathing if there was any issues. Probably just the muscles being sore from whiplash.

"Alright well how serious was the crash. This is probably just whiplash that you are experiencing. I am going to put something on your back just to make sure there is nothing wrong with your breathing." Grabbing one of his many tool's placing headphones into his eyes while the other end of it would be place on the man's back.

"Just need you to breath in slowly." Michael would wait after a minute to listen to the man's breathing hoping to find nothing wrong with it.

Jake sat still as Doc listened to his breathing. "I mean the ship kind of slid for a long bit, the landing itself was level. Only real problem part was when the ship fell at the end. dropped maybe a meter. Afterwards, I was Ok but I was still in the heat of battle. Most of the pain is higher up"

As Jake breathed in he held his breath for a bit before exhaling in a long stream. "Why do you need to check my breathing for whiplash? Not like my lungs are in pain." It was all ways like this with doctors go in and complain about your knee and next thing they checking your eyes.

Michael was not sure why the rebel wanted to keep on talking or when he was done checking the breathing of him complain about what he was doing. Did the rebel not know how check ups work? One needed to make sure there was nothing else that could come up later. Like a crack rib, which could stem from slamming into the controls of the ship. Or slamming back into the chair from the whiplash.

Deciding to be a bit more snarky then necessary he with a slightly hard slap onto his patients back to see what sort of response he would get.

"Well if you had a crack rib you know it could be shown when your lunges inflate. Or at least I would get a idea about it. But by all means 'Doctor' you want to do your own self diagnose by all means. But if you want me to do my job I would appreciate it." Michael had a small smirking smile on with a slight frustrated look mixed in.

He hated when patients tried to tell him what to do or complain about his methods. He is just doing what he was trained to do and needed to test things out before deciding on what it was.

"Now so you say the pain is in your neck and back, can I get you to take off your shirt and lay down on your stomach? I am going to be checking out the spots see if there is any bruising or swelling." Michael waited to see the response if it was more snark, the doctor planned on returning it back at his patient.

Jake still looked confused. Seemed like a slow process. Why not just use a full body scanner. That way all Injuries could be picked up in one examination. "I am pretty sure a broken rib would hurt though"

Jake complied and lay down on his stomach resting his head to his side. He did not know if there was bruising but he had felt some swelling.

Michael simply rolled his eyes, right now he didn't have the equipment working yet so he needed to do this the old fashion way. As the man lay down he look and could see that at least some of the muscle was swelling. But the lack of any other sign of injury was good, which meant that the treatment for the problem would not require a lot of medicine. Especially as the need for the medicine was in high demand.

"Doesn't like that bad. Just give me a second." Moving his hands and massaging the muscles, Michael tried to see where the area was most sore, after a couple of minutes working on his back, Michael would eventually be satisfied with the information he could receive and head towards a cabinet within the office.

"You can get up now, going to give you just a bit of pain killers. Not a whole lot and will mostly just dull the pain. We don't have enough to deal with every small ache that you guys get. If you are interested in helping out though maybe get some more rebels we might try grabbing some more supplies, running a bit low. Or at least finding a way to get some trade going to get some supplies." Michael was new and hadn't quiet gotten a full grasp of things yet but he could definitely tell a empty medicine cabinet that despite request for more supplies is not being ignored rather can't be fulfilled.

Jake stood up and accepted the pain meds. It was not a lot but would work. Jake all so understood why the Alliance was short on supplies, not just meds but all supplies. Though of course meds where high up on what the alliance needed since sink and wounded would be a common sight on the battlefields to come.

"Thanks, doc, I know you don't have a lot to spare and I am willing to help in any way to get you some more. Though trade might be hard it would be best if we find a steady source of medical supplies. I would be more than willing to help you to get whatever you need."

With that Jake left the doctors offices taking one of the tablets to help with the pain as he walked
