The Gamorrean careened into the hard metal sheet that seperated the small arena from a thin walkway around its edge, clutching its side and shouting something untoward in the creatures gutteral tongue. Pushint itself back up from the wall, the creature snarled - yet had been provided with little time to react, before being floored with a crushing blow to the chest from what could only be described as a large hammer-head. "Come on!" its wielder bellowed, hefting the weapon to strike again "Get up!"

Ortogg the Merciless however, was not in the mood to comply, and merely pawed at the ground with its free hand, indicating the end of the bout, as the hammer-wielder Magnus grumbled in dissappointment. "We have a winner!" the voice of the fights commentator rang out, as money was changing hands, the bettors on this bout making good on their debts "Magnus the Hammer, is the victor!"

A smattering of applause went up from the small group gathered, as Magnus stalked off the arena floor, and reattached his bantha hide coat, collected his payment, and headed to the nearest bar. Walking down the main street, hammer in hand, his others weapons adorned about his person, he towered above passers by, spotting The Dusty Dewback - one of his preferred haunts - and heading inside.

Arianna was seated in the crowd, a sense of elegance and upscale superiority separating her from the meager peasants that adorned other seats at the bout. Joining her was a new acolyte, one she had rare interactions with but Harren spoke highly of her and she trusted the Deucalian immensely. A smirk cast over her lips as she continued to enjoy the rare wine bottle she had ordered for her and Osk, her own coinage substantially higher as it made its way towards the winner's agents. She had already paid in full for their ability to meet this "HammerHand" as he was referred to, and she would ensure that his agent would facilitate the interaction.

"Come" she said quietly to her companion, moving from the seats and towards the back regions. As Magnus attempted to leave he would surely be intercepted by his bout managers, indicating that a wealthy patron had paid a substantial coin for the chance to speak to him. Obviously, food and beverages were complimentary, a generosity delivered by the Empire and its almost limitless funding.

As they moved to the back area, Arianna's cloaked form would become visible; dark sided corruption was absent on her beautiful features as the light armored marauder robes did little to conceal the lithe figure. A warm smile came as she spoke, "I enjoyed watching your fight..."

A night out on the town? Arianna hadn’t had to ask her twice, though it was clearly not an offer she could refuse. She was beginning to see that the woman had a penchant for seeking out talent and wooing them to her side. It was an interesting lesson in manipulation for the young Kiffar and she knew that her was yet another person from whom she could gain knowledge. Considering what she had observed of the woman, however, going to the fights wasn’t the first scene that came to mind. That was until she actually got a look at the man they were come to meet.

It was more than obvious the brutality the man had at his command and Osk could well imagine Arianna wishing to be the one to give that power direction. For her own part she watched the way the man moved against his opponent, trying to gauge his strengths and weaknesses. The outcome of the match had pretty much been obvious from after a short time watching the two square off and she wasn’t proved wrong.

Rising to her feet, she left her drink behind and accompanied the woman to the back area. Unlike the Crusader Osk was adorned in her mismatch of apparel though she took wore a cloak, the hood had long since been cast back to her shoulders due to the heat in the arena. HammerHand’s size nearly dwarfed the already short women who were anything but intimidated. Once Arianna made her complimentary greeting Osk commented, ”I imagine with a performance like that you find it hard to book challenging opponents.”

Magnus was never one ot turn down flattery, and he sure as hell was not about to start today. And so, when the charmer approached him, he turned around to face them and met them with a broad smile, and a suprisinly hasty handshake. In his line of work, it was important to make friends, because all to often one was on the move, leaving them behind quickly as you met them, and as far as he was concerned, that was cause enough to warm to people quickly.

"We aim to please ma'am." Magnus repsonded, a hint of sarcasm on his voice as he said so. "And yes, in the slower fight seasons, it does become hard to get a decent opponent, but," he shrugged "Pays good, and in the prime seasons, the sport is fun." he barked a loud laugh as he finished.

Arianna allowed the large man to hold her hand longer than anticipated, slowly withdrawing from his touch as she moved to the side and motioned to one of the managers. "Well, let us celebrate with a few drinks then shall we?" A tone of deception and seduction laced easily on her words, but one that the burly giant would likely not be able to identify so easily. For now, she was merely a wealthy patron wanting to receive some personalized attention. As the trio moved to the venue's bar, they would be brought to a private table and separated from the heathens that likely waited for Magnus at the countertops. No, he would not be associating with them tonight for his companionship had far more important figures this evening. Settling into the leather lounger, two bottles of expensive liquor made their way over as well as a robust red for the Crusader, judging from her preference of wine.

As the drinks were served, Arianna motioned to the acolyte at her side. "Magnus, I'd like to introduce you to my associate Osk Torlaug. I apologize formal greetings were not exchanged immediately.." She smirked, sinister and darkly but one that nonetheless showcased her exploitative beauty. "How long have you been involved in this sport?"
