Leon could see the idea brewing in Dash’s eyes, he trusted the guy, so he moved. He kept his sense sharp and acted as a buffer for Dash supporting his buddy’s concentration by handling any stray debris headed their way. Suddenly, three pillars of ice coalesced out of nowhere and acted as supports for the crumbling entrance, but even with the passage secured, Leon didn’t stop running.
The three of them burst through the curtain of dust that had been kicked up. Once they were a safe distance from the cave, Leon hunched over with his hands on his knees and breathed. “Well, still not as bad as Kashyyk, huh?” he laughed. “How in the hell did you know where to put those pillars? ALSO, the pillars man!”
Leon waved off Dash’s suggestion, “Fiiiiine, I promise to bever pick up a shiny without consulting the group.”
He hadn’t realized it, but the entire time he’d been running the weapon had been in his hand. It felt like a part of him, like something he was meant to find, but why? Why him? Was he really so desperate to stand out that he was going to be the “My Weapon Chose Me!” guy? He’d have to embellish the story a bit, but that might work.
"Come on then, let's have a look at it," A familiar mischievous smirk settled on the Adumarian’s lip. He lifted the blade to the sky and ignited it.
