Cait had royally kriffed them all. It could have been so simple. They could have remained neutral and all become unimaginably wealthy. That all changed when she chose the Sith above all of them.

Gil had survived her attack, but it only barely. He had put almost no details out to the others, only that she had tried to kill him unsuccessfully and was on the run. They had quickly placed a bounty on her that he hoped would keep her on the run until they could settle what they were going to do with the pieces.

This could go a couple of different ways, the smart way is they all took pieces of the pie and left with something. Gil understood that some weren't happy with having a piece. He had no interest in the spice mining/production pieces of the company. He had other plans, but that didn't mean he planned to leave empty-handed.

He hit the button to initiate the halo-call. It was going to all the leadership of The Exchange and a couple who were being elevated to leadership positions. Gil wore a suit, but the top few buttons on his shirt were unbuttoned. He had in a large backed chair, appearing relaxed but ready to put this thing to bed.

Since Cait had left, there was a rapidly growing power vacuum building in the Exchange, and Nor'baal the Hutt was not about to see anyone other than him, rise to fill it. That was why he was coming onto the holocall, not to discuss how screwed they all thought themselves to be, but to send a clear, unmistakable message.

Tow the line.

When the holocall began, Nor'baal would appear, his outline unmistakable as that of the only Hutt member of the Exchange Council. He needed no introduction, and so he simply spoke "Fa doth dan da na veiee caiot woy fa, Dobra whoma paupe see uba caiot boonowa bu tee-tocky kankay cuanesa mee chamy caka an uai bankop bai wahey, bai cohai bai mee yanee cohkamhanonka." his voice would boom across the speakers of the attending council members.

"Jeejee gee tytung doth cahweba, vee an tytung bo see ten dwana joniu bu meiay cay Aislinn- an ateema jeejee gee wa sayey che wahke liebonkoy. Liebonkoy bai eeth bu hee see Boonta don bu hocan gaahlekay, oto vo tee pueanka wamma an oto vo bu daee yinba see tee panpiha ree daee. Woy kae see uba yanatke chemant kae bimhee da hotpa?" he fell silent, waiting to see if anyone would challenge him.

Gil let the Hutt speak his mind, including his threats. It was true there were some that were willing to grab what they could and leave. If Gil had cared to do such a thing, he could have done so easily. Cait, in a moment of clarity before her betrayal, had put almost all of the assets The Exchange owned in his name.

"I don't have the time or patience to dance around with threats." he said "So I will get to it if none of you mind." he continued looking directly into the camera capturing him.

"Before we argue over who will wrestle control from one another, I will make an offer to one of you. I will throw my support behind the one who can meet my simple demands." he said tapping a button that would send his terms.

"I want control of whatever assets The Exchange has left on Nar Shadda, namely The Lusty Lekku and our warehouse on the planet as well as ownership of all slaves tied to either facility. I will then sign over the remainder of Exchange assets to you."

He looked at the camera for a brief second and began talking. "These are least profitable locations and have the least potential for future growth. My reasons are my own. With me out of the way, your largest and most likely foe will become an ally.

It was not an idle threat, he had the power to make any transition incredibly costly and difficult. With him on their side, they would gain legitimacy at the cost of very minor concessions. It was a great deal, the best deal they were going to get. This offer would only be offered to one person.

Gil sat, relaxed expression before he waited for the smartest to rise to the top.

Nor'baal smiled as Gil made his offer known, although his expression would not be seen on the shadowy looking projection of him. "Bu Jappee an tee baua amahola dah bu Ulwan Jin noa-a mee, whao Jee doth panbipa see pacmhanaduee." he replied, adjusting his position to be in lock-and-step with Gils. "Hocan Jee lwaa bolla cua. Ba bapahu noa-a bakenu, gahkesa bu ' chik ' see da doga da la lwaa doth banbonzay doi kouikei, doth fa ree bu kon see bpuoiaee mo kaee baua, um baw wah sobaha see twa tee-tocky du mee sinsa." Nor'baal added to the terms.

He had nothing against slavery himself, and for sure, some of the employees at the Lekku would do well on the markets, yet he was not foolish enough to make enemies of those so closely aligned to the departing power-brokers inn the Exchange, and thus his offer would be honoured. "Jee hatkocanh bkhipkiha mee bu Kankahchonha bai doth cuee campa, an hee kopuaheth bargon cay tee yanee panpiha bai gahkesa luoke nagey see tee joday, lwaa uba douaph mi peee panbipa banpop." he boomed, addressing the others on the line, in an attempt to sweeten the deal.

Gil smiled as the Hutt spoke back up. He had a feeling he would be the one to pounce while the others weighed their options. Gil tapped a button and it would cut the holocall off for everyone except himself and the Hutt. They were left alone.

"Leader of The Exchange, of course. I, or my properties, would no longer be tied to the organization in anyway. My business plans move me in a different direction entirely." he spoke, clarifying his position. It was all in the documents that Gil had sent the Hutt. It was a legitimate offer, no attempt at backstabbing which made this deal unusual. It was better for both of them to be on good terms than fighting over things they could just as easily obtain elsewhere.

"And I will give you priority in Spice orders I may have in the future for my operations on Nar Shaddaa."
he said. It was a good deal. It would ensure both still had credits coming in, an incentive to keep any such dealing alive. "I also would be open the agreement to share any and all information of Cait and any threats related to her or her new associates. She is unstable, and apparently under to teaching of one called "Darth Victriss". I don't know if was Cait or this Victriss who orchestrated the betrayal. I do not know what, if any, future plans that may have in regards to The Exchange or either of us. It serves us both equally well to Cait taken out of the equation." he said pausing to give the Hutt time to consider, bring up any points he may have.

"Do we have a deal, then?" he asked if there were no objections, sitting up straighter.

"Da doth wompa. Dobra bla tee dee cohanlala Cait gee cay heee Beh, um biweoo fa bai sey, fa doiebanh moova balebe. Victress ' cohka du tah lwaa tee doth banmine." Nor'baal replied. He had little desire to the see the Exchange become the puppet of a failing empire, and would only do business with them if they understood that fact. "Hocan, Jee boonowa bu hoppada bashodue, an doth faee bai baplamka hoohah." he concluded, nodding his head in agreement.

The deal was not a complexed one, all it did was allow for the concerned parties to seperate on amicable terms, and continue to have the opportunity for future business arrangements open to both sides moving forward. "Jee lwaa gee mah droida cohai bai uba, an jeejee lwaa gee bu see fah biy hoppada chalata hhe bu ahbenoy paiheke ponoi. Ateema, cheska kaa baua uba nai bai setpika sie jeejee gee tah kacanka charra mon?"
