The Fall Of Eshan, also known as the War Of Rivals or the Great Invasion, was a war that lasted for 5 years in the Eshan System, home of Echani people and culture, although related conflicts began weeks prior. It involved the vast majority of the Mandalorian Supercommando's—including notorious squads like the "Kyramund Fighters" or the "Freenemies Regiment"— and the Echani United Army, eventually forming the two sides of the conflict: the United Echani People and the Mandalorian Dominion. It was one of the hardest fought Invasions of the "First Dominion's March" campaign, and directly involved more than 100 million people from over half Mandalorian Controlled systems.
Marked by mass deaths of civilians and orbital bombardment of industrial and population centres, it resulted in an estimated 73 million to 138 million fatalities between civilians and soldiers.

The Dominion aimed to expand and secure more space for its people with the first March, but the real war is generally said to have begun when the Sisters were threatened with the invasion of Eshan by the Mandalorians and subsequent declarations of war by the city states.
The war continued with campaigns including the East Plains campaign, the Sisters Sieges, the aerial Battle of Blade's Peak and the Basilisk bombing campaign.
The Mandalorian advance halted in the third year when they lost the critical Battle for The Little One, But in the last two years, with a series of Echani defeats on the Southern Front and the complete loss of everything in orbit of the planet, the Union lost their chance and undertook strategic retreat on all fronts. In the last year, the Dominion invaded the main city state of the planet, nicknamed "The Older Sister".
The war in Eshan concluded with the Echani last attempt at taking back The Older Sister, culminating in the capture of all remaining armed forces by the Supercommando's and the subsequent Echani unconditional surrender.
The war altered the political alignment and social structure of the world greatly. The City States became regions of a new Mandalorian aligned Global Government established to give a different view of the Invaders and prevent future conflicts, but the influence of Echani great leaders didnt fall, most cities whose industries had been damaged moved towards economic recovery. Political integration, especially in the main sisters, emerged as an effort to end pre-war enmities and to create a common identity between the two cultures.
Sadly, there are still groups trying to resist the new Mandalorian Aligned Government, but they don't have the strength to efficiently fight back.

Intent: To Open Up new background options for Echani characters post timeskil and to clarify what happened after the Dominion Mission called Freenemies in Eshan and giving Mandalorian character's a possible way to deal with the five-year timeskip.
Also trying to give a little more accurate rappresentation of the planet after the Mandalorian Invasion.
Ps: All event's happening in this article are supposed to happen DURING the 5 year timeskip.
