The festival of wind... it was said to be a big holiday on Annwfynn. At least that was what Alienor told Kaedan when she invited him to join her. He had accepted her invitation and was quite ready to see what kind of event this was first hand. Of course, that meant that he needed to prepare himself for such a day and to spend time with aristocratic Annfyn. Linny's family were high nobles from what Kaedan understood. Sure, they weren't as royal as a King's family but they were rather noble. Heck, her true title was Lady Alienor Pon Blodau. Had he not met her the way he did and was told he would be helping out someone who had such a title, he would have been extremely nervous. Luckily, that was not the case. He got to meet her as her and they started a friendship that even led to him teasing her with her own title. It made her blush and become flustered which he found adorable.
With the days of the festival approaching, Kaedan made sure to know most if not all of the proper things to do while there. He would hate to accidentally do something he wasn't supposed to do. While there, he would have to refer to Linny by her title but in a more serious way, at least he believed that. He also learned to dance better since the prom in the event that she asked him to do. The thing he couldn't do was speak their language, Sídhe. He also couldn't really understand it for that matter so if they were to speak the language he would be totally lost. It was a good things that he would mostly be with Linny who would be able to translate.
The thing about the festival that Kaedan was least excited about was the three days of fasting. Of course, it was their tradition to do these things so they were more than likely accustomed to that however he wasn't much of a person who fasted. For this though, he was more than willing to fast. The thing that he was most excited for however was the lantern ceremony. It sounded really beautiful and to follow that up was some sort of sweet treat.
Kaedan loaded his ZA-205 Skiff up for the journey. He packed the necessities included clothes that would keep him warm. All that was left was departure. He waited until Alienor was ready and had joined him. "So, are you excited to head home for the festival of wind?"
