The festival of wind... it was said to be a big holiday on Annwfynn. At least that was what Alienor told Kaedan when she invited him to join her. He had accepted her invitation and was quite ready to see what kind of event this was first hand. Of course, that meant that he needed to prepare himself for such a day and to spend time with aristocratic Annfyn. Linny's family were high nobles from what Kaedan understood. Sure, they weren't as royal as a King's family but they were rather noble. Heck, her true title was Lady Alienor Pon Blodau. Had he not met her the way he did and was told he would be helping out someone who had such a title, he would have been extremely nervous. Luckily, that was not the case. He got to meet her as her and they started a friendship that even led to him teasing her with her own title. It made her blush and become flustered which he found adorable.

With the days of the festival approaching, Kaedan made sure to know most if not all of the proper things to do while there. He would hate to accidentally do something he wasn't supposed to do. While there, he would have to refer to Linny by her title but in a more serious way, at least he believed that. He also learned to dance better since the prom in the event that she asked him to do. The thing he couldn't do was speak their language, Sídhe. He also couldn't really understand it for that matter so if they were to speak the language he would be totally lost. It was a good things that he would mostly be with Linny who would be able to translate.

The thing about the festival that Kaedan was least excited about was the three days of fasting. Of course, it was their tradition to do these things so they were more than likely accustomed to that however he wasn't much of a person who fasted. For this though, he was more than willing to fast. The thing that he was most excited for however was the lantern ceremony. It sounded really beautiful and to follow that up was some sort of sweet treat.

Kaedan loaded his ZA-205 Skiff up for the journey. He packed the necessities included clothes that would keep him warm. All that was left was departure. He waited until Alienor was ready and had joined him. "So, are you excited to head home for the festival of wind?"

Returning home after such a long time away was always going to be an emotional time. Linny knew that she would always feel the pull of Annwfyn in her heart, that the call of her family and friends and home would never leave her. It should've been a moment of joy but now it was mildly clouded. She'd given Kaedan a few things to read about the festival, but she'd neglected to mention that... well, the Annfyn could be a little bit prickly about outsiders.

"Hm?" she asked, looking up from her datapad as Kaedan spoke to her. "Oh. Yeah! Yeah, I'm looking forward to it," she said, smiling at him. She genuinely was, though the nerves were starting to build a little. What if her family didn't like Kaedan, despite what she'd said? What if people were annoyed at his presence? What if her family came across wrong during the festival?

She didn't need to bring much, seeing as most of her 'proper' things were still at her Annwfyn home. Just something to wear when they arrived, plus some things she needed to read up on through the holiday. Plenty of interesting things about sign-casting and such-like. Keep her head in the game and all.

"I messaged ahead with your ship registry. They're expecting us at the Mag Mell spaceport," Linny told him as she settled back into one of the seats.

As Kaedan was packing the ship with the necessities, Linny had joined him. She didn't walk with much things which was more than likely due to her having things at home. That alone would be reason enough to travel light.

Now his ship was packed up and ready to go, Kaedan turned his attention fully to Linny. His question about her excitement for the festival was met with a smile and her exclaiming that she was indeed looking forward to it. He could understand that for sure. He thought back to when he finally decided to visit his parents after all the years and he was excited to see them again and catch up. That even left him with a gift, the very same ship they were in. Though, it wasn't nearly as functional as it was now.

Linny spoke of the ship being expected at the Mag Mell spaceport due to her messaging ahead with its registry. That was pretty smart and something he didn't think about. "That was a good idea. Wouldn't want to be shot out the sky because of any misunderstandings... not that they would, would they?" Kaedan was still quite oblivious to the fact that the Annfyn weren't too keen on outsiders. Heck, he wouldn't expect such a thing from Linny's people since she was so kind to him.

"Alright, let's get this ship going then. I may need you in cockpit to help me navigate to Annwfynn. Can you read a star map or are we going to wing it to get there? Either way works for me." As he asked her, he started walking towards the cockpit, sitting down in the pilot's seat. The leather of the seats in the cockpit was new and showed that Kaedan prioritized refurbishing the cockpit while he fixed up the ship. After buckling in, he started up the engines and the ship came to life. He took off from the Temple's hangar and took to the skies before leaving the planet's atmosphere.
