I'll offer up Gûry for whatever purposes you need him for. He don't really own anything.
Well, then at least it won't take long, lol. What's the point in saving them though? Don't you want to get some use out of those ships y'all earned before they disappear?
I mean, an attack in space is suicidal. But if we entrench, dig in well, and properly unite, we might, and it is a very distant might, delay the Sith advance. Victory probably isn't a realistic scenario, but bleeding them dry Verdun style seems more realistic.
Yeah, that's pretty meta. Like Wit said, it makes much more sense IC to use them for something more meaningful in the long run. That said, we may have one good strike coming up- a sort of delaying action- but it's not going to be a straight up suicide run straight at an Imperial fleet like this, and we certainly can't afford to just stand ground and get bombarded to death.
Just in general.Delay a Sith advance where?
An attack wouldn’t go well at all. The Imperials are far too strong to even consider an attack. Defence really is the only optionWell that's a very good point. I had kinda figured we would just gather whatever resources we could and try and last as long as we can. But we could, instead, try and make a strike against the empire. They've got a lot of property we could target. My only hesitation there is that we would need to do an espionage plot to start the attack. But with our numbers we could probably get that done pretty quickly.
What does everyone else think?
Just in general.
Well not as in everywhere at once. But inflicting enough casualties will force them to stop, lick their wounds and replenish their forces. I doubt charging into battle with battalions 10% in strength would end well against pretty much everyone but incredibly weak, disorganised and poor led troops. What do you mean? Like everywhere in general? You can't do that. You have to take how many PCs/NPCs/Ships you have into account to see if you could feasibility defend even one planet from Sith advancement.
So far this plot has 5~(?) PCs and their personal ships signed up. None of them have anything more than that built up/to use. If they decide to do anything crazy they'll most certainly perish. Unless you guys can put together some CPVP instead.

I really shouldn’t be so pessimistic. I’m sure we’ll achieve a glorious victory unseen before, remembered as legend for 1000 millenia! :)
Thumbs up for positivity Jamie!
But yeah... Best not to have any misconceptions about it. This is most certainly a suicide run. But hey! When the empire rolls in and the fight-or-flight instinct kicks in, some of our characters want to fight. And maybe. Just maybe. Our actions could serve as inspiration for the upcoming rebellion faction! ;)
Remember the Alamo!
