Horus stood at the edge of the clearing, amidst the beams of light that shone around him. Despite this, the world of Daalang was mostly industrialized, which made this natural grove all the more special. Considering its purpose, it was blessed threefold in one day. There was some comfort in that, and through it, the Vahla felt the strongest and most natural of calms. Today would be the first day that Horus would teach his own students, the ones he'd selected. He knew that others would likely join their ranks, which would allow his most senior students to pass on this lesson to the ones who missed it. Among them was Quolon Dox, a boy he'd met quite by chance on Endor. His younger sister Kerowyn, who was trying to cast off her past as a Sith. And Calath Draykon, the son of one of Horus' oldest colleagues, Lieutenant Tycho Draykon.

"Right, you’re all here. Good. You’ve all been chosen as my students, and more are likely to join you; so do yourself a favor and get acquainted with each other. Some of you may have already met - that’s good. Go ahead and take this time to introduce yourselves, like so; Hi, I’m Horus Tempest. I’m a Jedi Knight, Vahla, twenty-four years of age and way out of my scene."

Horus would wait as his Padawans introduced each other. He didn't really know if anyone knew each other, and as each responded, he would watch intently. This would be telling, seeing how they would interact with each other and get along. He did hope the synergy and companionship that he and his class had developed would be something he could provide to this new generation. And, of course, he already had a number of lessons outlined. All lessons were prepping them for the end goal of attaining Knighthood and full membership of the Order, but more than that. He was going to equip them with the knowledge of how to survive this war and win it, and he would hopefully be able to pass on his knowledge of the Force and enlightenment in the process. He'd be an odd teacher, but maybe that was for the best. Once all replies where finished, he nodded to each, in turn, shaking any hand that came forth.

"As my students, the end goal is to prepare all of you for Knighthood. For now, we’ll start with the basics. The Jedi Code. And from there I’ll be covering a very important subject - the thirty-three rules of war. If someone would recite the code for me, we will make sure you each know it. Listen to these words, they will guide you. Afterward, we’ll jump straight into the warfare... philosophy will come later. Tomorrow we will be covering lightsaber combat and force application in battle. I want you armed with the knowledge to survive, so we can focus on the finer details."

After the mission he had completed with Horus, Calath had decided to take the time to make a quick trip to Jedha. After feeling the pull to take him there at it's strongest. The trip was worth the time. He got the chance to see home again and able to sneak some training in under the guidance of Firen. Now there was some struggle as the teenager is not as trained in the force compared to the others that were present on Jedha. But Calath took it more as knowing where he needs to get some practice in. Shouldn't be too difficult right? Well it might be for the young man since he found it difficult to focus on multiple things during the training sessions on Jedha.

After the training sessions on Jedha, Calath proceeded to come here as he is supposed to. He did note that there are only two others, minus himself and Horus. He had never met the other two before but all the same is eager to get to know the two of them. If they are going to be fellow students they will have to get to know each other and learn to get along despite what there differences are. Upon Horus's instruction for them to take the time to introduce themselves. Calath cleared his throat, "Hello. I am Tycho Draykon. Like everyone else I am here to learn the ways of the Force so I can start walking the path that the Force is pulling me towards." It may have been very brief, but he doesn't exactly have much to share about himself either. Unless he wanted to share the fact he broke pottery at the temple on Jedha. That may get some laughs though, "Oh and if you guys hear about any pottery that was broken at the Temple on Jedha.. that was me doing all that during training that was taking place." The young man will tell them all before calling his introduction finished.

He will then go silent as the other two introduced themselves, if they did. When the other two wrapped up introducing themselves it was time to get on with the lesson as Horus started talking again. Giving the three students a brief idea of what will be taking place. The Jedi Code? Sweet! Something that he actually knows thanks to Tycho's girlfriend pounding it into him. Before she went missing sadly. At least he hopes that the version of it that he was taught is the correct one. The teenager paused for a moment or two as he gathered the words then proceeded to speak, " There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force." The teenager recited as the words came back to him. At least he thinks that he is recalling the words correctly. The young man will know if he got it right shortly though.
