Non-Force Sensitives and Levels
Level 1: These individuals are commonly seen throughout the galaxy. Soldiers and bounty hunters are regular sights and are capable of holding their own against diverse enemies in a wide range of situations. Overall, these individuals are comparable to the limitations placed on non-Force sensitive combat this TL.
Level 2: Considered experts in their fields with years worth of training and real-world experience under their belts, these individuals are capable of more than their level 1 counterparts. These skills manifest in a variety of ways depending on the individual's area of expertise. For instance, a bounty hunter at this level may find that years of experience and training has made him more mobile in his armor and he no longer suffers as extreme of limitations to his movement when he is on the hunt and discovers that his reflexes are more honed than they were when he was first starting out.
Level 3: Those who have survived this long in their profession are some of the best in the business. Often on the verge of becoming truly famous - or infamous - those that have come this far are capable of holding their own against nearly anyone else in the galaxy in a single fight. They have practiced for years to push the limits of the body. They are capable of holding their own against even masters of the Force and are truly a force to be reckoned with.
Level 4: Individuals who have made it this far represent the peak of physical abilities. Capable of pushing body and mind to the maximum limits, their intellect and physical conditioning make them the deadliest the galaxy has to offer. Sometimes the actions they take seem to defy the limits of human ability. Having become the most powerful and dangerous men and women in the galaxy, they are also capable of picking a single "capstone perk." This is a special ability to be worked out with the staff upon reaching level 4. An example of a capstone perk would be the ability of a level 4 bounty hunter to enter an "ask" thread if his or her target (listed on the bounty board) is present, though limitations to metagaming may still be in place. Capstone perks must be explicitly approved by the staff before use.
Essentially, there are an extensive combination of different professions that non-Force sensitives could choose, the progression is a bit more fluid. In general, level will be a factor in deciding whether or nor a combat move is viable.
Salient points of non-Force sensitive leveling:
- Level 1 combatants will be treated typically the same as non-Force sensitive combat was treated this TL.
- Level 2 combatants may be given slightly more leeway in their reflexes and stamina, but will still have constraints in place.
- Level 3 combatants are even further advanced and should be able to take on the majority of level 1 fighters with relative ease. A level 2 very skilled in PVP may be able to take them down, but a level 1 would need additional help in order to take down a level 3.
- Level 4 combatants represent the peak of physical ability with reflexes that can nearly rival that of a Force sensitive. In addition, they are able to choose a "capstone perk."
What if a Non-Force user is a certain level, but does not have that rank?
The power/strength is determined by levels alone. This means that even if someone is a Level 3 but does not hold the rank of a Lorda, they will still be as powerful as one. The same holds true for all other ranks, including Level 4. Even if a Non-Force user is not the Supreme Mogul, they will be just as powerful if they are Level 4. This opens up opportunities for authorities to be challenged should the plot lead in that direction
