The Flash pilot mentions Wayne Tech in a newspaper from the future (there's a flash forward or something), so at the very least, Bruce Wayne exists in the 2020s. Which could be a way of tying Gotham into this show. Set Gotham in the same time as Arrow and The Flash, so Batman will never show up in those, but we know he exists in that universe.
