Green. A damn endless sea of green.
The shrubs and trees of the Wookie planet Kashyyyk whizzed by as Xano and Shawn ran through the maze of green and brown. The sounds of angry Wookies could be heard in the distance. Xano shifted his eyes constantly; his sharp vision could easily catch the slightest of movements ahead as well as most to his sides. As his heavily armored foot descended once again he thought of his predicament, if it hadn’t been for those damn trainees, shooting up the boss man’s fancy frackin table neither Shawn nor I would be in this ridiculous situation…
Kal’s table had been banged up during the years by all of the new trainees. Unfortunately it had needed to be repaired and who would this responsibility have fallen on but Shawn. Yet, Shawn wanted to repair it in case Kal came back, and Xano… Well, actually Xano had volunteered his services, hoping to discover some other rare resources. Kal’s table not only happened to be destroyed, it was made of a rare wood found only on the planet Kashyyyk. The Wroshyr tree delivered the fine material that Kal’s desk just happened to consist of. So, Xano and Shawn had made their way to the mid-system world hoping to quickly retrieve the material needed… The Wookies didn’t agree very well with the idea of outsiders using their wood; however, that wasn’t the reason they were murderously chasing the two BHG hunters down, Xano’s ambitious desire to raid the Wookies of multiple trees for their unique properties was. They hadn’t even completed their secondary mission, capturing the smuggler with the life dept with a Wookie. Unfortunately enough, the aforementioned Wookie’s family was chasing them.
“That son of a bi…”
…The world came back in focus as a blaster bolt passed Xano’s head, the sound of sizzling air could be heard through his helmet’s internal speakers. Xano realized the Wookies had been steadily catching up, quickly calculating the distance between the two parties Xano’s rough estimate was they had around 15 minutes more of running until the Wookies overcame them. Cursing loudly he put on another burst of speed while pulling out one of his repeater pistols. There would be a fight, Xano knew this much, it would take at least 30 minutes to reach his ship. Facing the maze in front of them, Xano once again grunted in exertion, his pack was after all loaded with all of those materials, he didn’t want to lose them to a species he considered sub-intelligent.
