Cardinal didn't spend much of his time with upper class, well known individuals. He mostly spent his time with his men or other gangster lords. There were the few occasions where he would meet with a corrupted senator or politician that needed a favor, and Cardinal was happy to oblige, given a fee of course. A few days after the bank heist that was performed on Nar Shadda, Cardinal got word of an auction going on in Coreilla. The prize was a capital ship, a Hammerhead Crusier. Most of Cardinal's forces were located on planetary surfaces. Having a capital ship would open the doors for many different possibilities. Cardinal would be able to partake in smuggling, and becoming a privateer for hire, mainly the Sith Empire.

The hovertruck sped through the streets of the beautiful Coreilla. For this mission, it was just Cardinal and four other members. One being the contact that informed him of the auction. Today he would be surrounded by highly influential individuals paying big amounts of credits to obtain the capital ship. Fortunately, due to the recent heist and reserved credits, Cardinal would hopefully be able to at least go toe in toe with the other competitors.

The truck stopped, and everyone disembarked from the vehicle. The guards weren't for Cardinal's protection, but for the huge crates of Credits that he had brought with him. Security at the shipyard was going to be strict as all the patrons brought their own security detail nonetheless for their own fortunes. Cardinal didn't understand why the organization bidding the ship didn't just have the winner wire his or her funds over, instead everyone had to bring their storage of credits.

"
Alright everyone knows the plan. Tom and Kate stay with the credits in the warehouse. Kass and John you're gonna come up with me. Tom, don't get the credits mixed up with anyone else. You're carrying millions of my credits." Cardinal had made sure to put a tracker on the crates should anyone steal it, or it get mixed up with the other crates. Cardinal nodded to his entourage and they split up going in their respective ways. Cardinal was glad to work with Kass. He had remembered her from the last mission with Jay.

Kass sat in the backseat of the truck as it made its way through the streets of the Coreilla. The turquoise eyes looked dreamingly from the window. Had she ever been here? She couldn’t remember but she had been too so many locations. I guess this was another knocked from the list. She wore her standard black leather outfit with her comfortable pants and boots. She didn’t normally wear her armor outside of a mission. The wind blew through her auburn hair. She checked her gear as the truck came to stop. She stepped from the cab and nodded to Cardinal in acknowledgment of the orders. Keeping a distance, she scanned the area as she was hired as security for the affair. “What’s the plan, Cardi?” She pushed some hair behind her ear as her other hand rested on the dagger hanging loosely from the secure belt, a few throwing knives tucked other locations. The sounds of shipyard eerily quiet except the sounds of the event.

Team Alpha, consisting of Cardinal, Kass, and the contact, proceeded up the lift to the highest floor of the business building of the shipyard. Cardinal had arrived early, but was surprised to see other patrons were already there. After they had left the lift, they were forced to go through a security check. Unfortunately weapons were not allowed inside, so Cardinal was forced to give up his blasters and grenades, however he was able to keep his lightsaber, as he explained it was a significant part of Cardinal's life and he would not part with it. Cardinal looked to Kass and nodded, she would have to give up her bigger knives, but would hopefully be able to conceal her smaller blades. "In we go!" As the event hadn't officially started, they had time to walk around and eat some of the food and drinks provided. On the side, there was a huge glass window which the ship could be seen below.

Following Cardinal while maintaining a defensive posture, the group reached the main entrance. She quickly reviewed that they were holding weapons, but not actively searching for weapon on the person. Most of her weaponry was concealed except what she wanted to be seen. As they made their way to the security checkpoint, Kass unlatched the belt and handed it to the checker. “Oh, they have drinks.” She moved to a droid carrying a tray with drink perched on them while snatching one and some food off another tray before return to Cardi. She scanned the room with an inquisitive eye. The crowd was litter with various levels of business professionals. From standard merchant captains looking to expand their fleet to major shipping franchise spawning multiple planets. She leaned into the Boss. “Of the people in here, I recognize any of the key players. Is this a legit auction. These look like serious business people.”

As they walked through the room, Cardinal smiled and greeted some of the patrons of which he had conducted business with. Cardinal's contact had left him to go talk with some of his associates, which left Cardinal and Kass side by side. Cardinal nodded to Kass and whispered, "Yes, I was told this auction was legit from my many sources. The prize is of high value, which had attracted many rich buyers, such as myself. I meant to tell you this earlier-" Cardinal lowered his voice to where only Kass could here. He turned to face her, "I don't think I will win the bid. These people that are around me have more to lose. I believe I am going to be out bid. If this happens, well we'll have to have a nice little chat with the winner. But for now, go enjoy yourself, enjoy the food, meet new people-" Cardinal was interrupted by the auctioneer coming up to the stage at the back of the room. "Hello Hello. Welcome all, thank you all for coming here today! We are here of course for the auctioning of the brand new, Hammer-head Cruiser! I want to first thank the Koors foundation for providing us with the ship! I would like to start the bid now at 50,000 credits." Cardinal nodded to Kass as he took his seat at the middle of the room, Kass next to him. In his hand he held a wooden paddle stick. Cardinal raised it, "60,000!" Cardinal knew he would be outbid by everyone in the room. He just wanted to start the auctioning process. Immediately after his call, someone countered it, raising the price by 10,000. Cardinal whispered,"I will stop at 5 million."
