Max handed back the book and Thalia held it with her free hand, finding it suddenly much more heavy than she had previously thought it had been, especially in the presence of the holocron. She looked at the two objects and then back at Max as he reminded her of the will to chose her own path.
Though as he continued, his words sounded heavy, the responsibility of such abilities still sounded burdensome. Thalia tucked away the journal, but still grasped the holocron, turning it slowly between her finger tips, listening to Max's words and his warnings. However, he followed up with reassurance, he would come help her if it became too much. "Even if I say I do not need your help, I probably do." she said with a straight face, but it broke with a smile.
She took a step back and grabbed the staff, looking at the holocron, "Can I stay here for a little bit?" she asked him.
