Sarla was visiting a space station on edge of Empire spaces. She was hoping to find opportunities, for her house on Serenno. Place like Kwenn space station that where strategically placed, on hyper lane between the core and outer rim territories where excellent place to gain gossip. She was sat in docking area, waiting to hear from a contact, with her two bodyguards.

Her contact did not come, she then realised it was a trap. A Jedi was here instead, there was no one else in the docking room ether. She realised it was trap, he had a few people to face her guards as well. She lit up her lightsaber, and pointed at him. As to offer a duel, she was not going to go down without a fight. She maybe unarmoured, but she had lightsaber and the force.

Was a hell of a nice day for the Duke. No missions, no one trying to kill him early in the morning. Hell, he wasn't even bothered by other people, leaving him content to just lay around and sharpen his knives. That is of course until he was bothered and given a mission. Sure the Galactic Alliance was doing important work but hell's bells could Darion use a vacation.

Find a Sith, fight the Sith, capture or kill the Sith. What, just because Darion was once a Sith acolyte and now a Jedi in training meant he could take down a contemporary? That was in fact probably what his superiors thought process was. Oh well, at least they had sent him backup in the form of two rebel regulars disguised as smugglers. Man did Duke stand out like a sore thumb when paired with them. Considering for a moment they were carrying blasters and were all dirty and covered in leather clothes, he felt justifiably out of place when in his getup of no shirt and only pants and vest.

At least he looked pretty.

So there he was, walking into a stupidly setup ambush for his opponent, which was making him angry just thinking of all the ways he could have done this easier. The Sith evidently had the same idea, as she immediately realized what was going on as the various space station dwellers fled the incoming fight.

This fight would get far more complicated now that the Sith had a lightsaber in hand, whereas he only had his knives. Better make them useful. He drew two of his throwing knives from the inside of his vest, mildly flashing the poor woman he was about to try and kill, and said "I'm gonna guess you don't want to surrender?"

Seriously a dirty scruffing nerf herder of a Jedi, did the Jedi not have any pride? She looked at him in disgust, as she could not stand a man, who could not dress properly. His entourage went for her bodyguards, and they also returned fire. The Jedi however was hers, and hers alone. He threw two knives at her, she did not like this, why did he not atleast try and shoot her. Then again why not at least use a vibrosword, if he could not get his hands on lightsaber. As the first knife came towards, she used the force to push it out of the way. The other was blown off course as well, she moved in to get close and personal, with her lightsaber. She did not want to spend, time dodging throwing knives.

Duke could practically feel the derision the Sith had for him. In fact he could literally feel the derision she had for him. Came with the territory of being force sensitive and fighting another, far angrier force sensitive. Oh well, at least he didn't wear a cape like some over-pretty teenager. Nope, he had originality baby! Everyone's eyes go to him first!

That may be because he is shirtless on a space station, but whatever.

The Sith charged, and Darion threw two more knives before drawing Honey and Sweetheart, his two Vibro-Knives. He was unhappy he was going into a sword fight with a knife, but you have to work with what you got. Darion crouched down low, ready to spring at his opponent once she drew close. It was important he got within her guard, where her lightsaber wouldn't be much help. He waited, primed to dodge, unwilling to make the first swing when he had the inferior weapons.

As she moved in he drew his knives, she had range, he had a better chance up close. She had to keep him at a distance, so he didn't get between her light saberstaff and her. As she got close enough, she let out a shot force lighting with her left hand. This was not something that was not very powerful, and more tickle him than cause him any real pain. Though he would not know this, she planned to use this as a distraction. As she spins her lightsaber staff and moved it to cut his head off from his smelly shoulders. She was moving as fast she could, she moved as an Echani fire dancer. This was something he might not recognize, after all, most force user uses a force form. She was using a fighting technique, from another source.

The two knives he threw prior to drawing the two he held in his hand, seemingly struck the woman, cutting her but nothing more. His aim must have been off, making him make a mental note to practice more.

Already crouched and primed to spring into action, Darion swiftly sidestepped away from the lightning, before ducking the swinging lightsaber coming towards his head, and sprang forwards in an attempt to tackle the woman to the ground while she was extended in her swing. He drove both knives forward as he pounced on her, one aimed for her stomach, the other towards the shoulder of the arm holding her lightsaber, hoping that the action would connect and cause enough pain to disarm her.

He was trying to get closer than she wanted him to be, so as he advanced. She stepped back, as he came forward. She kept her aimed at his torso, so if he advanced to quickly he would impale himself on her saberstaff. She kept moving back, so his attempt to tackle her and use his muscle mass to get her down would not work. As he came forward to do so, she used force pull to try and get him on the floor. She hoped he fall flat on his face, so she could kick it.

Darion stopped short of striking the Sith just as she stepped back. There was no sense committing to an attack if it wasn't going to connect. His torso was mere centimeters from her lightsaber, but as he took a few steps backwards to put some distance between himself and her glowing plasma blade, he felt himself get pulled back towards her and onto the ground.

He fell backwards in a power slide, letting the momentum of the force ability pull him back towards her. He was elated that she wasn't going for another swing from her saber, instead stepping forwards to kick him right in the mouth. The foot connected and he started seeing stars, but if she thought that a little girls foot to the face was all it took to take him down, the Sith was about to be sorely mistaken. He reached froward and upwards, spitting blood and grabbing at the leg that had just struck him while at the same time sweeping his own leg out to catch her other leg and bring her down to a prone position where he could wrestle her saber away from her.
