Alex was once again smuggling to make a living he had been transported with some illegal substances on tatooine and was waiting for an unknown contact to pick it up and pay up about 1,500 credits this would make his day but as usual he felt uneasy like it wasn't going to be the trip he wanted at all "where is this guy come on I wanna get out of here the longer I wait the more I think of leaving!"He whispered to himself and kept on waiting for some one to come talk to him

Penne Kara, the young girl who was forced into the republic, started to come into view.
"Alright! I have been looking for the person to make my day! His name is..." She looks down at her list, "Alex! Alex Hope!" She looks around aimlessly.
"I swear, if you do not show your face... I will..."

Alex finally saw the person he was looking for her name was Penne.....well at least he thought it was before he went to make himself known he stood there for a second and watched her. "Somthing about I swear seems.....well I don't know well better go and talk to her" he walked up to the Penne "Hey you Penne I was wondering where you were for a second there names Alex"

"Alex, Alex. Such a dumb name. Well, you got the cargo?"

Arribacca has been dispatched to arrest a smuggler. The only details on this assignment he had was that illegal possessions were being smuggled. For days he had been travelling to catch this man - from his homeworld of Kashyyyk (where he was before he was sent on the mission as he was nearest to Tatooine out of everywhere in the Republic) to the Outer Rim planet Tatooine.

Arribacca looks down on the sandy desert planet. "Damn..." mutters Arribacca in his native language of Shyriiwook. "How could anyone ever live here?"
Observing his surroundings, Arribacca spots a gust of wind which seems orange due to the amount of sand being picked up and flying around with it. He then spots an open space where there is no hills or anything.
After taking a minute or so to land his ship, Arribacca gets out of his ship and opens his cloak a bit. It is too hot to need a cloak but he must keep it on as it holds his lightsaber in. Trying to find out where his instincts lead him, Arribacca observes his surroundings. "OK, instincts", mutters Arribacca after judging on where to go. "I'll obey you."
Arribacca then is walking for about five or several minutes until he hears speaking. Arribacca keeps his head down and eventually sees some silhouettes talking. After hearing the conversation, Arribacca thinks, 'This must be them!'
Crouching, Arribacca swiftly and silently uses the Force Speed to hide behind some cargo. Whilst being hidden, Arribacca focuses well on the conversation, catching every single bit of detail. Once he had heard enough he would pursue them.

Although not being a force user, togrutas have high perception, and can sense the presence of somebody. Penne turns around, and looks over at some cargo. She looks back at Alex, then walks over to the cargo.

Arribacca hears footsteps edge towards him. 'May not be coming over here', he thinks, hopefully.
Focusing deeply on all the sounds the two people are making and not the loud gusts of wind, Arribacca realizes the person is coming towards him. Rather surprised he was detected so soon, Arribacca pulls out his lightsaber hilt. And makes sure his finger is near the button. Once the footsteps are close, Arribacca flips out of cover and presses the button. An orange beam of light ejects out of the hilt along with a loud ignition sound. Arribacca reaches for the translator on his chest.
After activating it he says, "Hello there."

Yea of why wouldn't I..... Ok don't see how that a bad name but ok" Alex sees penne walk away for a moment to Check somthing then comes back Alex thinks he knows why he could sense it as well he checked to make sure he had his lightsaber and hid it before she came back he didn't want to many people knowing he was a force weilder. "anyway we should get this over with pay up the credits and I'll help you move this cargo and I'll make you pay only 1000 instead of 1500 if you can give me a ride to naboo only reason is getting this here wasn't easy so my buddy's ship was distroyed so what do you think can you help out a fellow smuggler?"

"Woah woah! No need to get all fiesty!" Penne leans in closer, "I am with the border alliance, tasked with getting some weapons, and learning the location of wherever these people go." She whispers.
"I am not here to hurt you."

Arribacca stares at Penne for a few seconds whilst judging on what should be done. 'Jedi want peace. Not conflict', Arribacca reminds himself.
"OK", says Arribacca as he deactivates his lightsaber. He stays holding it and prepares himself for any danger coming his way. "I'm a Jedi Knigt named Arribacca. I have been sent to..." Arribacca wonders whether Penne needs to know or not. "Take me to whoever owns this ship", he commands.
He does not trust Penne just yet but realizes the Jedi and Border Alliance are allies - defenders of the Republic. As he moves closer to her he turns down his translator. "Your secret is safe with me."

 

[Maul]

Vahs, the four armed, eight and a half feet tall, reptilian behemoth had received word of a small smuggling operation nearby. Vahs intended to commandeer the goods to support the Sith war effort.
His ship moved across the Sandy planet quickly, searching for the smugglers. When he finally spotted their ship, Vahs took a much more direct approach then the Jedi. The Sacred Band member hovered over the conversing group for a moment before landing off to the side of the smuggling ship.
The cargo bay door opened with a hiss. Vahs' gargantuan figure emerged, bare chested with intricate tribal war paint spread across his torso. On his back were his two Vibroswords, with the Vibroknucklers on his belt. Vahs held his blaster rifle in on of his four hands.
His four eyes spotted the whom he presumed to be the smuggler. Alex. "Here's how this is going to go, boy. You are going to load everything you have onto my ship, or I will tear you limb from limb. Understand?" The monster said as he gazed down at Alex.

Arribacca senses distress and fear. Not that far away either. "Excuse me", he quietly says to the Border Alliance person.
Arribacca jogs over to see what is happening. He crouches behind another cargo. He spots a giant lizard-like creature threatening a human. Arribacca knows his duty to maintain peace. He stands up and jumps into the scene - right near both of them. After landing he ignites his lightsaber.
"Now, gentlemen", he says with a serious look on his face. "Is there a problem here?"

Alex sees that the situation is going south fast he has no choice but to take out his lightsaber and ignite it it's red blade glowed bright "ok every one chill I think we're all here for the same reason I work for a group not owned the republic but supports it I'm here to figure out were this stuff goes and who gets it there no need for a fight don't believe me I have the data pad with instructions from the border alliance and ADI right here"

Arribacca, lightsaber still ignited, looks at Alex with a long and serious stare. "First I'd like to see rather than hear. So I'd like you to show me all of your cargo. Besides", Arribacca looks at the red lightsaber, "What are you doing with a red lightsaber? You could've caused many distress into thinking there was a Sith Lord in this area. Imagine all the madness."
Arribacca then lowers his lightsaber slightly whilst staring at Alex to show he is here for peace and not for a fight. He keeps the four-armed lizard thing in the corner of his eye though. He senses darkness in that... monster.

Alex pulled out the data pad and game it to Arribacca then show the cargo " look it seems like the real thing but it's not you just need to look closer" then he refers to his lightsaber "and I used to be a dark Jedi for the sith till I was saved but I'm not a Jedi either but I still help the republic anyway I can"

Arribacca looks at the data pad briefly and then looks at Alex. He believes Alex isn't a bad person but doesn't like the lightsaber. "As much as I believe you", says Arribacca, trying to be serious yet reasonable at the same time, "I need to see it." He still keeps the four-armed lizard being in the corner of his eye, carefully monitoring his every move.

Alex didn't like this he knew he had nothing to hide but this man thought otherwise "fine here but no tricks"

"Fine", Arribacca nods and holds out his hand, expecting a shake. As trustworthy as he feels this man is, he has a duty to fulfil and will have to check it. If there was anything illegal in and the Jedi who sent him found out, trouble would be caused. "Nothing dodgy."

(OOC: Is there anything illegal in there? Because at the start of the thread you said he was smuggling illegal substances)

((OOC)) most of it is some is fake it was just a cover up to trick the real thief

Alex shakes Arribacca's hand "here" he hands him his lightsaber "oh I almost forgot I carry two here's the other it's not red it's purple now let's work this cargo thing out" he said handing over his weapons. He trusted the man he knew what his intentions were "remember if you need anymore proof contact the ADI and the border alliance they do have me on record"

Arribacca looked at the lightsabers. He nods and makes a "mhm". "I don't need your weapons though", says Arribacca slowly nudging them back more into his grip. "You can keep them. I can trust you. Plus if you did happen to try anything just as a warning: I've been trained as a Jedi for about 83 or so years."
Arribacca then goes into the ship where there is plenty of cargo crates. He first observes his surroundings inside this room full of crates. 'Alright. Let's get started', he thinks to himself whilst deciding which one to start with.
After making up his mind on which one to start searching, he walks over to a nearby crate. Due to his size, he kneels down and hunches his head down and opens up the crate. He sighs and his face turns stern. He pulls out what he found inside the crate. An illegal item.
Turning to Alex with the item in his hand, he says with a stern look, "Explain this."
