The Layover - Finally Alone

[Vitriol Blue]

"My next move?" Voth says with a contemplative grin. Slowly she starts walking, her arm still linked in his.

"My next move was to let you catch me. Although, I must admit I thought I'd have a cigar and a drink in my hand when you did. Then I was going to challenge you to a hand of cards, double or nothing what the bill was worth, knowing that I'd beat you at that. You didn't pay though so that hardly seems fair."

Feeling comfortably anxious she wonders what else Aryan learned about her in his brief reconisance. "What's your next move good sir?"

Aryan smiles at Voth "well i see five paths we can take. Two include continuing our lovely game of cat and mouse, the other two are more civilized were I Learn why a woman who comes from a very wealthy back ground would hop on the smuggler train And the last option well that one is abit more adult out of the five." he gives her a wink and continues "or hell we could do all five just depends how much time you have before you go off world really."

Aryan found this woman to be very fun same tricks same humour and why not have a little bit of fun the worst that could happen is Aryan makes a friendly rival.

With a slight grimace, Voth playfully reply's, "Smuggler?" That's a loaded word to some. It's just a hobby for me, I've got a legit game now."

After a flash of pained hesitation, she continues. "Let's go down one of those civilized paths, for now." Voth raises an eyebrow enthusiastically and then puts on a mockingly serious face. "Why did I leave home? For love. You know, bad poetry comes from somewhere. I was in love, young, and bursting with angst."

She hasn't spoken with someone so easily in a long time and certainly not about her past. Maybe Voth took solace in finding in a kindred spirit or perhaps she was comforted knowing that she would be off-world soon and leaving Aryan behind.

"What else did you learn about me in your limited inquiry? I didn't give you much time and only a first name. I'm impressed."

with abit of a playful smile Aryan replied "well my time of gathering knowledge was limited but your family was very wealthy sending you to prestigious schools. Your family business used it's funds to help the lesser off which I must say is admiral." He nodded at her and continued. "Then you ran away leaving little information but still enough that I can guess a fair bit of what you did, Until you came back on the radar working back home but as bar staff and remaining off the radar to your family. stop me if i'm wrong? So I guess we ran in similar circles."

it's strange for once Aryan got to play detective usually he's the one getting chased by detective types. Knowing abit about her gave him a grasp of what she would most likely do if push came to shove and that meant Aryan ad the advantage.

"I suppose that we did." Casually Voth raises her chin and she sticks out her lower lip a bit, obviously pouting. "You know, when I tell the story it sounds much more romantic."

She stops for a moment, pausing to throw away the journal that she had been carrying in a nearby trash receptacle.

"Your information is a bit outdated though. It's been four years since I worked at that bar. Admittedly you now have me at a disadvantage. I'm not used to being the mouse."

Feeling a bit vulnerable, for the first time since their introduction, she sighs, her arm still in Aryan's.

Aryan stops and holds her hand "ya I always was a bad story teller." He said with a chuckle while a reasuring smile "well that was just the start of what I knew really. you might be at a disadvantage but there's no need to feel uneasy or vulnerable after all your free to ask me anything you want."

It was fun being at an advantage but it felt a little unfair since he was having so much fun in this little game they had going.

Naturally taller than Aryan, and wearing four inch heels, Voth rolls her eyes and looks down at her cursory associate.

"I suppose I do have some questions for you, Captain. What is the name of you ship and how did it get its name? And, why haven't you taken me somewhere to get a drink that isn't watered down yet?"

She slowly unhooks her arm from his and she takes a small step away from Aryan. Shifting her weight to one side her hip raises and she casually adjusts the clasp on a silver necklace that she is wearing. The chain is simple, but real, and it holds what appears to be an old fashioned key.

With a smirk she looks around at her surroundings and without making eye contact she quips, perhaps jokingly, "I might be too sober to continue this conversation much longer."

Aryan moves to the railing of the cat walk and climbs over still holding one he smiles and says "You're right what we need is a strong drink that will leave us shirtless and wondering what happened the next morning." He pauses for a moment to let one hand go of the railing and grinning as a speeder passes him "I have one more question if you will indulge me ever so kindly? red or blue?"

just because he was sober didn't mean he wasn't above jumping if it would be fun or stupid. Playing with her by switching hands and pretending to fall until she answered his question "I want to say blue but knowing you your going to say red so which is it ?"

Voth gasps, gathering her dress in her right hand. She pulls up the hemline to just below her knee and takes a few quick steps toward the railing. Careful not to get too close to the edge, her eyes light as she realizes what Aryan is doing. Hurriedly she calls down to him, "You're going to get yourself killed!"

She pauses, reveling in his glaringly charming behavior, and after a few moments she finally answers his question, "Blue! Always Blue!"

Aryan laughs and tilts back "ha thats more like it blue it is." Aryan let's go of the railings throwing his arms out and using his feet to push off the cat walk "DOWN I GO!!" he yells as he plummets down wards. The wind is blazing through his hair while looking down at the valet car parking for a fine dining hotel and quickly finding things to grab to slow his decent landing in the seat of a speeder car looking at the shocked people Aryan smiled "hope you don't mind I'm on a date."

speeding upward to the catwalk were Voth was he put his arm over the side and blow her a kiss "sorry dear could only get it in a green." opening the door he tapped on the car "want to jump in M'Lady."

Waving her hand in the air, Voth facetiously jests, "I suppose it will do." She moves over to the edge of the platform, slips off her heels, buckles them together, and slings them over her handbag. In an instant she sits on the railing of the catwalk and hikes up her floor length dress to her thighs. Quickly she swings her legs over the edge and she leaps gracefully to the stolen speeder. After a steady landing, she nestles herself into the passenger seat and holds on assuming that this won't be a casual ride.

"Do you do show off like this for all the girls you meet?"

"Not all the girls just the ones who either shoot at me or the ones I'm trying to impress." He laughs as he stomps down and the speeder races off. "So dear where do you want to go the world is ours for the taking." Racing around the city he was having such fun and considering this started because she skipped on the check.

"Oh your promising me the world now?"

With a laugh, Voth arches her back and lets the wind blow through her hair. She closes her eyes, enjoying the moment, and then she turns toward Ayran with a smile. "Ok, I've got a challenge for you."

She leans in towards Aryan in the already close speeder car and she puts her head on his shoulder while looking up at the sky.

"Take me to a park. One with a fountain, a big one. It's been ages since I felt grass between my toes. I've got time enough for a night swim before my check-in time tonight...I hope."

Aryan put's his arm around her "A park sure a park sounds nice." moving the wheel sharply to the left the speeder raced off until they found a park. "Looks like were here shame we didn't bring a picnic this could be really romantic." he looked at her and winking as the speeder landed. "I hope you know you're a really bad influence on me." he said with a chuckle.

Stepping out of the speeder and stretching he offered his hand out to her with a smile.

The park is lavish and green. Truly a luxury to have in a city this modern and expansive. The grounds are at least three square miles and it is filled with lush vegetation, a public garden, and a large circular fountain. Voth extends her slender hand with a raise of her eyebrow, "Well then, I suppose it's a good thing I'm leaving soon. Although it looks like you can cause enough trouble on your own." Letting Aryan help her down she stops and stands toe to toe with him, their noses almost touching. With a tilt of her head she runs her hand along the nape of his neck and slowly whispers, "I'll race you to the fountain."

Quickly she bends down to pick up her dress, having unzipped it while distracting Aryan, and she takes off running with her gown, shoes, and pocketbook in tow. Still wearing a black strapless bra and panties you can see the full complex of her detailed tattoos and also a large lateral scar on the midsection of her left ribcage.

Turning around playfully she runs backwards for a moment, taunting Aryan "Last one in buys dinner next time we meet!"

The fountain, still at least forty feet away, is made of an elegant stone and it features a large relief as a backdrop with four large statues. This fountain is most certainly not meant for swimming and Voth now has a considerable head start.

"Hey no fair that's cheating." Aryan quickly started pulling off his boot's when she jogged back to taunt him. He started to run and caught up to her "nice trick getting half naked almost let's see how you like it." he started unbuttoning and taking off his top letting it show the extent of his robotic arm and various other scars he has not to mention his upper body.

running past her he turned and ran backwards and shouted "just as good from the front as you do from the back but by the looks of it you will owe me lunch." turning around he kept running with a large smile on his face.

Doing her best to keep up, Voth sprints towards the fountain. With all of the giggling she's doing though she quickly looses her breath. She stops a good ten feet from the fountain's lip and she doubles over holding her sides laughing at their foolishness. Her belongings drop to the ground around her and she gasps ever so slightly.

"Ok ok you win. Dinner is on me next time. Seriously I'll pay this time...really. There, you beat a girl with one lung in a race, you happy?"

Seeing her from the front, and up close you can see that she has another scar, just under her rib cage on the left hand side. This one is clean however not like the larger scar on her back. Her collar bones and hip bones are accentuated by her bands of tattoos and space between each rib is also tattooed.

She saunters over to the edge of the fountain and she steps lightly over the rim of the veined stone wall. With a splash she's in the water, waist deep, frolicking under the protection of several stone guardians, all spurting water.

"How will I find you again dear Aryan so that I may pay my debt?"

Aryan Laughed as the light his his body showing many scars across it "Well you asked for this challenge not me. and you better buy it next time because I plan on building up one hell of a bill." stepping up to the edge of the fountain he takes off his trousers and jumping in the water. "If you really want to see me again you will find me." He smiled as he splashed some water at her.

"Very true. Something tells me that you'd be easy to find." She turns away slightly as Aryan splashes her and she calms for a moment just wadding in the water.

Feeling uninhibited for the fist time in months Voth is a bit heavyhearted now that the night is coming to a close. Drifting in a bit closer to Aryan she speaks sweetly, "Thank you for sharing this evening with me. What an unexpected occasion it was. "

"Just look for the worst bar's in the galaxy and I'll no doubtable be there." He said with a smile as she began to get closer to him Aryan was getting ready thinking she was going to splash him or dunk him under. when she got close what she said made him rather happy "There's no need to thank me I've enjoyed it as much as you have. This was a fun day I'm happy I met someone like you."
