Tonight was going well. Men and women from all over the moon were pouring in to spend the night, or a few hours, enjoying themselves in the mini paradise Cait called home. Most of the girls—the ones that lived in the Lusty Lekku—were in new outfits tonight too.

Usually she was out and about tending to simple things during the night, but lately she'd been in her office striding towards bigger things. The drug trade, gunrunning, opening businesses elsewhere, all of this was in her planning book. She'd even considered getting in control of a space station and making it somewhat of a hub for her new businesses.

Tonight she had booked in a man who sounded promising; even acquaintanceship with him sounded like it would be worth it. Though she didn't know this mans temperament or the extent of his reach, or really where exactly he had reach. Bottom line, she was happy to book an appointment to get to know him.

She was dressed nicely even if she wasn't out and about, with a tightly fit black dress that made her fiery curls pop. Her crystal blue eyes shined somewhat, though mostly from the few drinks she'd already had. It was a good thing that this man would stripped of his weapons before entering the office and watched while he visited, because Cait wasn't exactly sober. Drinking helped her stay focused on her work, somehow, so she never really held back.

Thieves & Kings ♣ The Peach Kings
Nar Shaddaa was a place he had already visited several times in the past few weeks and he would not be surprised if he did so a few more times this month. Today he wore a simple Hippeus Protective Kit with jump boots. He was not wearing his normal mandalorian attire considering it was still Imperial Hutta territory plus he did not want to get singled out by some drunken thug who thought he could go a few rounds with him. Testosterone filled lushes tended to seek one of two targets. Either an easily beatable enemy or an enemy too tough for them to realistically beat. But with a simple riding gear like some common swoop bike enthusiast he hoped to avoid that. He did not have time to get into brawls today.

He dismounted his swoop bike and headed into the Lusty Lekku. Out from his pocket floated his Personal Entertainment Attendant. It floated just over his shoulder and trailed him by a few centimeters like a silent cyclopian pet. Once he entered though he was told to leave any weapons with the bouncer. His droid looked at him to see if he would give it a queue for any music though now was hardly the time. At least it was another good reason to not have worn his beskar'gam. He would have had to leave his armor with the door man and he did not feel like stripping, especially when Leandros got embarrassingly stripped by Clan Wren.

Sighing he took out his VBL-11, ejecting the charge canister and giving the weapon over. He took out a second weapon, his chanti blaster pistol and did the same. He would hand over his weapons but he was not about to give them the ammunition to use it. He was not carrying his normal light repeater with him nor his grenades either and he had opted that carrying the sword or lightsabers he had taken from enemies would be too overt as well for a simple business visit. "Ya need to stick ya fingers up me bum or turn me head an cough next?" He asked the door man with a slight growl of annoyance. He did not like being unprepared for a situation.

A blue twi'lek dancer nearby overheard Burkhart's question and came a bit closer to him, putting her hands on her scantly clad hips and biting her bottom lip, "Anything butt related costs credits, honey," she said with a giggle, giving him a wink before turning around and walking off; stopping for a brief moment to wiggle her butt towards him. She hoped he'd come and find her after whatever he was doing in Cait's office.

Cait heard some kerfuffle at her office's door and waited till her guest came in. When she saw him she smiled warmly and reached over to a cupboard by her desk. Grabbing two glasses then a bottle of whisky, she filled up both glasses and slid one to the other side of her desk. Gesturing towards it and the seat, hoping Burthart would rest.

"Burkhart, I assume?"
the young businesswoman began, taking a sip of her drink. She knew a bit about the man, seeing as he had contacted her, so she needed to get something out of the way, "Before we begin, since you're mandalorian you need to know that I was taken as a small child and trained as a Sith." Cait let that sink in for a second, knowing that his people didn't like Sith. "Of course, I left the Empire's service the moment my training was done in order to do this—business, my true calling." Even as an ex-Sith, she suspected that some mandalorian's would still hate her, or even want her dead. It was best to do this now, and in the end it'd let her know if dealing with the mandalorian's was even a possibility for her.

Cait took another sip of her whisky, swirling the drink in her hand before continuing, "If that turns you off working with me, all the best to you. But know I have nothing against your people or you." Cait allowed her smile to return somewhat. "We don't discriminate here at the Lusty Lekku."

His helmet folded back and around his neck in the unique way that all Hippeus Protective Kits tended to. Underneath was a staring Morling face that would look back at the door man but cease when a female voice reached his perked canine ears. He turned to look the alluring blue skinned female up and down for a moment. But he smiled when he looked back at the doorman. "You offerin, or are you sayin I can charge im." He said, inferring the door man wanted to sodomize the mandalorian. But Burkhart smirked and spoke again before a quip could be returned. "Sorry lad. Yer not me type."

Burkhart did not care if the door man had anything left to say, his back turned and he headed for the office door to which he assumed belonged to Cait. It would seem his guess was right. He saw her pleasant smile and she pulled out a pair of glasses which he appreciated and moved around to stand in front of the chair, looking around the room as he did so. He would then sit down and take the glass, smelling it slightly to appreciate its body before taking a sip and nodding. The Alor of clan Kelborn nodded in thanks for the beverage.

"You assume corract Mrs. Aislinn." He answered simply. He listened and stared at the woman, keeping eye contact with her with a stoic expression on his canine features. When she finished he took another sip of the grain mash alcohol "Wot ya are is more important than wot ya were. As loong as yer passt don't coome a knocking I'm not askin." He did wonder though what she meant by his people. She did not seem to be bothered being surrounded by non humans though looks were deceiving. However she most likely meant Mandalorian. If they did discriminate in the establishment they probably would run out of patrons. May as well sell condoms in a convent if they did that.

"Great!" Cait answered, perking up. This was the best outcome, though she was aware that the pair may not mesh business wise. That was, hopefully, not something that would happen. "Then lets talk business!"

Opening a drawer on her desk, she pulled out a few datapads and put them on her desk. Her hands folded over them for now however, to speak, "So while I know you're here to talk business, and an influential man, your message to me was somewhat vague." It was true that he had requested a meeting with her to discuss business, but that was about it besides some personal details. Which was, honestly, typical with these types of underworld dealings. Detailed messages could get sliced.

Since his desire could be anywhere from wanting to sell to her, purchase from her, use her assets or even to get involved in them, she decided to use this moment to let him know that he had all those options, even if he wasn't interested in them right now.

"I'm certainly not anywhere near your influence or reach, Mr.Burkhart, but if you're interested in selling to me or even utilizing my small businesses in some way I'm happy to tell you a little bit about them,"
and—truth be told—she hoped he would, especially now that the mandalorian's were claiming this space as theirs. Though claiming and controlling Nar Shaddaa were two very, very different things, there were always places to start. "I own the Lusty Lekku here on Nar Shaddaa and a mine and the buildings that surround it on Kessel. My mine supplies the Lusty Lekku, the area around it, and other places on planets throughout traditional Hutt space. Perhaps places outside of it too, though if it goes that far it is out my control." She assumed he'd know what kind of mine she was talking about, since it was located on Kessel.

The young businesswoman paused to top off Burthart's glass, and hers, with whisky before continuing, "If you're interested in non-traditional assets I have connections throughout the galaxies more prominent factions, and men and independent contacts here and on a few other planets." She took a sip of her whisky, ending with a small add on, "And, while it may be far out of your purview, I'm looking into purchasing a space station around Nar Haaska, or somewhere near various trade routes, to establish a hub for my businesses and partners." That was all she was going to bring up for now.

Burkhart's eyes followed the woman's hands reach towards a draw behind her desk. He would be lying part of him wondered if she was going to pull out a weapon. But he did not show his wariness as part of him figured she would have done something hostile sooner if she wanted him dead.

Cait continued to speak and he nodded, scratshing the back of his left ear with a finger nail. Burkhart then reached into his own jacket pocket, inside which he thumbed the signal tracer just in case there was any listening device that would record his words. However he did not think any normal business woman would have such a thing in her office unless she was trying to gain leverage on her competitors. It would remain silent if it did not find anything which he hoped to be the case. But he did not bring his hand out empty handed. He brought out two cigaras, hand rolled and imported from a alderaan. They cost quite a bit normally due to imperial taxes and sanctions but he had a way of getting his paws on them. It was his own offer, like how Cait had asked if he wanted a drink. But it also showed what he could acquire if need be. He would light hers if she wanted one before igniting his own and taking a few puffs.

He murmured a thank you when she added more spirit to his glass. He leaned forward and made it easy for her to do so. He was fully aware that if he became inebriated it would put things in her favor. But he was a seasoned bartender and knew how to serve as well as how to drink.

He waited until she was completely finished before speaking with his own thick accent and deep voice. "Aye, at the moment my enterprise is based out of mandalorian space. But the mandalorians are spreading and conquering quite a bit. It would not surprise me if in a few months time Imperial Hutta comes under our domain. Now tha gives my own enterprrise plenteh ov options but puts you and your's at a bit ov a disadvantage, when it comes around. Believe me it will coome. When new management comes in that will displace a lot of advantages you currently have. Local police will be laid off and you might lose some profit."

He did not mean any of this to be offensive or as a threat. Quite the oposite. He was essentially giving her first pick to an opportunity for him to be her replacement contact. Though where the cops that she probably was paying off worked for her, the two of them would be partners in a sense. "I've got my trade moving both between Imperial Republica an will be soon venturing into the Old Empire as well. High value freight rather than mass transport. I do not think that it will be any time soon that we will roon tha risk of steppin on each other's toes."

Cait didn't notice Burthart's signal tracer, but it wouldn't find anything. Despite technically being a criminal—a title most Nar Shaddaa residents shared—she had no intentions of backstabbing or exploiting him. And beyond that, she had been completely honest with him, even knowing he could use the information she shared against her.

Though she could always change her locations and work around the mandalorian's to combat that, working with them was a much better option and possibly opened many more doors for her. Of course, in reality it all depended on how things went, because they didn't always go the to plan.

She listened quietly as he spoke, giving him the same opportunity he had afforded her. Despite what he said sounding close to a threat, it was more brutal honesty than anything else. Nothing he said was wrong. While Cait didn't go out of her way to keep up with the war all that often, she was aware of the mandalorian crusade just as much as the return of the Jedi. Neither things bugged her, in fact they presented more business opportunities, such as this one.

"I understand that it could put me at a disadvantaged. It's par for the course with war, shifting territories and business," she answered frankly. "And I certainly have no desire to step on your toes. Instead, I'd be happy to work with you whenever you see fit. And another thing-"

Cait decided this was a good time to bring up something else. She grabbed one of her datapads and placed it in front of the mandalorian. "Once I expand enough, I'll be registering a corporation to run all my businesses under." On the datapad the words Obsidian Corp. could be seen, along with a plethora of legal mumbo jumbo. "My corp and your enterprise could ally and make sure we never step on one another's toes, possibly complement one another when opportunities arise."

But that was not why she had shown him her plans to expand. "Or, if you want something to think on, there's an option to have your business run under Obsidian Corp's umbrella. All the credits your business earns could remain yours and yours alone, along with all the legal rights to your business and the ability to pull out at any time, but we would work together to thrive and expand."

He was glad she did not take any offense to his words. Some people were temperamental and so proud they actually looked at ways to be offended just to get the chance to start something. But Cait was not one of those people which he appreciated. It would seem that she was in agreement with everything thus far. The red head brought up the future of her own enterprise and the desire to go legitimate or at least have a legal side in addition to what she already had going for her.

He would set down the drink and then take up the data pad as a replacement. He read over the information on it. It would seem the fiery haired woman had a plan though Burkhart could not say the same for his own agenda. He had a looser goal since staking too much on specifics tended to develop into failure. He let things progress when it did and think a few steps ahead but keep it open to change and adaptation. He did not know for sure if he would have his own legitimate side of the business to the scale he wanted in the next couple of months or the next year.

"I appreciate the offerr. I can't say for sure but I'll keep my mind open. Prolly will stay separate tho. Can't read tha future. But whether we're separate businesses or not I see our shared interests alligning well for great reapings." He smiled and put the data-pad back down to once again grab his glass. He took a deep breath of his cigara before letting the smoke slowly exit his mouth and curl upwards.

"Is thar any specifacs ya need in the coomin weeks er months?" He asked. He of course was refering to any weapons, armor, booze or even movement of people if that was what she needed. "You should kno I don't do slavery. I moove people froom tyme to tyme but slaves are a no go. Same goes for spice." He let that sit with the woman as he took a more shallow toke on his vice.

"I understand; I'll keep in mind your limits. Everyone has them. Though there's nothing I need right now, or anytime soon, but I'll let you know when I do." Cait said, happy that he didn't mind her offer. For her, a relationship with the mandalorians was important. She didn't want to do anything that would insult him. No, instead, she'd do her best to please them and stay as friendly as possible.

Though there was not much left to discuss here. Cait took another sip of her drink before simply adding, "And the same goes to you. If there's anything I can do for you, let me know. I would like to stay friendly with you, your organization and the mandalorian people."

He was glad to hear of her accepting his conditions and nodded to signify that. He would continue to smoke his thick cigara a little bit more and set the glass down, empty. "I'll keep you in mind. The drink wooz mooch appreciated Mrs. Aislinn." He stood up and made sure he had not possibly dropped anything by accident. He found nothing and looked back up at her. "Think ah moost be goin thou. Till next time." He gave her a nod good bye before heading out of the office. His helmet under one arm he went back to the front to take his equipment. Satisfied that all of it was there he thumbed a credit chip towards the counter and gave a wink to the male that had been giving him trouble earlier.
