Cait sat at her desk, having reached out to a contact of hers and booked a meeting with him. She needed someone to find mercs for her, and not to be connected to hiring them. At least, not right away. While she knew that people would assume she hired mercs once she got the ball rolling in her business plans, for now most people assumed she was just an owner of a strip club and brothel and nothing more. This gave her an advantage which she wanted to capitalize on while there was a chance.

She knew this contact hunted bounties, and not alone, so it was possible that he could simply recruit the people he hunted bounties with. That, or he could find some randoms. It didn't really matter, as long as Cait's hands weren't "caught in the cookie jar" so to speak.

Today she was wearing a black lace dress. While it wasn't simple, it was simpler than a lot of her outfits. It was still somewhat revealing, but not too much. She wanted to look nice but not draw too much attention her way today so she didn't get distracted. She had lots of paperwork to get done, before and after this meeting.

Not many people called on Doug when they needed something - he was a bounty hunter and a mercenary for sure, but most of the time he had to go looking for the work himself. So when he get a message from someone actively offering him a job he was actually rather excited about the whole thing.

Cautious, but excited.

There was only two reasons why someone would be calling him in, as far as he could see it, and those were simple. Either he'd finally started making enough of a name for himself to get noticed or he'd made an enemy and someone was trying to kill him. The stupid thing was that for most bounty hunters and mercenaries, the second option was actually more likely than the first option. For Doug? Well Doug was a bit of an odd case.

When asked by people if he had any special skills, Doug liked to tell people that he had a super power - that being that no one actually disliked Doug.

Sure, some people got sore over something he'd done or whatever but no one ever actually had issues with the man himself. It had always been that way since he was a kid. Doug was just a lovely guy and there was just something about him that made people not want to kill him.

Was he banking on that today?

Probably.

Dressed in some jeans and a clean white shirt (along with a small collection of necklaces), Doug arrived at the Lusty Lekku and whistled in appreciation. It was, he had to admit, a haven for the kind of man Doug was. But there was business to attend to first so he did his best to ignore anyone and everything in the Lekku until he knocked on the office door of Cait. One of the dancers had escorted him and opened the door for him.

The unarmed, unarmored, bounty hunter smiled as he stepped into the office and the door was shut behind him.

"And I thought all the beauty was kept up front..." he couldn't help but commented before his cheeks flushed slightly and he bowed his head respectfully, "I apologize for that - just can't help myself some times. My name is Doug and I believe we have an appointment ma'am?"
