“Weakness, apathy, failure. These are the spectres which haunt our people today.” Growling, he slams his fist down onto the table, his hands practically shaking with rage. As one hand descends the other grasps his face and pulls the skin downwards as it descends down his scar riddled face.

After a moments silence he continues to speak.

“I have seen my people torn apart twice in a life time, twice. Once by an incompetent leader, and now by incompetent clans which can barely look past their own noses to see the bigger picture.

Our society has failed because of our weakness; our weakness is being tolerant of those who heed not the Resol’nare. They claim to follow its tenants, but now I realise as I look upon the fissure that we have strayed from the path that our forefathers set us an age ago.

We are a people of war, not of peace, not of comfort. We are who we are for we acknowledge the state of nature that rules over us all; the civilisations which become apathetic and believe themselves above the laws of the Galaxy die, and we are dying.”

For a moment his eyebrows arch, and his face loses all its rage as he dwells upon his own words. Then the hatred flares again in his eyes as he starts to shout.

“The Mandalorians are not a race, we are an ideal, a perfect vision of sentients which live natural lives. We are an ideology, and now we must purge the heretics, kill them for their crimes.

Those that are only self-interested, the opportunists, the pacifists, the force users, the traitors to the Resol’nare, they must all be destroyed before we can create a new Mandalorian age. Do your duty, kill the traitors.”

He smiles a sick, evil smile, and looks towards the camera which broadcast his message across Mandalorian space. Letting out a slow breath he concludes his announcement.

“The time for action is upon us, the movement for the purification of our people has begun. We have support across clans, organisations and the people. Join us to rebuild our society upon Mandalorian lines.”

Giving a salute, the camera cuts.

Howdy. Now the skip is in effect we are not a mighty power anymore. Mandalorian power is crippled because of the clans and the inability to find a new Mandalore. My character (Atniir Vencu), believes that the disarray now in effect is because of traitors, none-believers and force-users.

He doesn't plan to become Mandalore, he sees himself more as a crusader for the soul of the people, and the Mandalorian movement as a whole.

He is to start striking against targets which he believes are against the ancient codes and traditions, and I wanted to see who would be in for some fanatical Mandalorian action.

Anyone in?

Why do Mandalorians hate force-users so much?

Perhaps because they suffered defeat at the hands of the Jedi in the Mandalorian Wars during the Old Republic, only to experience Sith cruelty afterwards. Those might be good enough reasons to feel resentment towards Force users.

Maybe it's because without the Jedi or Sith or their Magik powahs the Mandalorians would be in control and the Galaxy at peace.

It would have been more peaceful if the Jedaii hadn't disbanded.

No the Jedi and the Sith are just the two aspects of the force trying to attain an impossible balance. If only none were there, we could have an empire based upon the Mandalorian ideals which are more advanced then 99% of the other civilisations in the Galaxy, but even that wouldn't work because of the whole "balance" thing.

It's impossible to win against the force, but who is to stop people from trying?

The Jedi and Sith are just embodiments of the Mandalorian failures in the past, and force-users are thus treated with suspicion if not hate. My guy is a fanatic, so he hates them, he might work with a Jedi or Sith but he hates the "magic".

Magic is a Subdivision of the Force. Get your facts right.

The Jedi and the Sith are from the Jedaii, which is unrelated to Mandalorians.

What ancient codes and traditions are you talking about? There's the Mandalorian Crusaders, and then there's Jasters version of Mandalorians. How a Mandalorian is described is dependent on the era. I would argue this time period we are more akin to the Mandalorian Crusaders.

If you're looking to kill some Mandalorians that are based off Jasters version then I wish you luck. There are a lot of them.

*cough* Clan Renelo.

Yes but I thought the "" would indicate that I know it's not magic. I imagine that many societies and people would call the force magic. I am not specifically talking about sorcery or what you are explicitly talking about. The Mandalorians do not care weather they are called Jedi, Sith or Waggabaggabumpipes. Force Users = Bad.

I am talking about reverting to the Crusaders. Streamlining the Mandalorians and expurgating any bad influences e.g. anything that isn't related to war and making them fruitloops. Well thats my guys vision, the overall vision is just to make the Mandos Mando again.

What if one of his friends is a force-sensitive?

Doesn't matter. There are force sensitive Mandos I have no doubt, but there is a big difference between having the potential and having the ability.
