The Mission and the Two Jedi

Rae finished giggling when she saw him shrug and continued on with him. As she finished buckling in, she saw Cassus' hand reach over and grab hers and as he gave it a gentle squeeze, she got the feeling that he was excited to have her there with him. She had to have been just as excited as she saw him smile back at her and she kept her smile on her face. She then looked forward when he said that it was time for them to go.

She watched as he focused on trying to find the path to where they were going. She nodded along listening to what he was saying about the mission and thought for a second. It was a good plan, but how would they ambush them without them getting away? Smoke bombs would do... "It's a pretty good plan. The only thing is, how would we stop them if they tried to run? I was thinking maybe we ambush them, using smoke detonators for our entrance so we blind them and then find out their whereabouts from there?" she suggested. She hoped it would be one he would like, but she wasnt too sure that the plan would meet par with what he was used to. "But, obviously you know better so my idea may be useless and we might end up blinding ourselves. And that wouldn't be good." she added on.

She then looked over to him again after he asked the question and a smirk pulled at her lips. "Well force wise, I'm good at the simple stuff. But a few things I have mastered are the mind trick, telepathy, telekinesis, and then for lightsaber skills, one I use the style Ataru, and I'm quick, smooth, not too clumsy, simple, and I can be so quick at times, sometimes you wont even know if I slitted something in half or something. But I can also use guns too if needed." she responded. "I used the pistols as a disguise to be able to keep my identity hidden from the Empire."

 

[Gabeness]

Vihu looked at the dot. It was flashing and making a beeping noise. He turned on the starfighter and clicked a button. The starfighter slowly disappeared. He pulled the throttle and the starfighter rose into the air, flying towards their destination at a slow speed.

 

[Ral]

Humming with a smile on his face, Cassus gave the young Jedi a reaffirming nod, as though to acknowledge and affirm that her idea was more than acceptable it was actually quite good. It wouldn't be foolproof, and it would require some luck and no small amount of skill, but they could get everyone there if they played it right. After a few moments of otherwise silent contemplation he finally opened his mouth to speak. "It's a good plan Rae, it really is. I think it'll give us the element of surprise we need to overcome them and subdue them. Then we can question them without having to worry about someone else getting away and warning others. I like it. We'll just need to be sure we don't mess up, otherwise we might as well go in there without the smoke grenades!" He chuckled as he placed his hand on her shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze, "And don't doubt yourself like that, Rae, it's a good idea, have some faith in yourself and your ideas. You might even surprise yourself if you do!"

With a passing wink, Cassus turned back to his controls as he set the ship down, still listening to Rae go on about what she was skilled with or good at. When she finally finished he frowned to think, but it lasted only half a moment. Letting the ship settle into its new resting position first before turning to speak he said, "Alright, well those sound like some very useful skills you have, especially for a Padawan." He didn't say it, but he was more than a little interested in taking her on as a Padawan if she did well on this mission with him. Standing up, he began to head for the ramp. "Alright, let's get going girl. Make sure you have those grenades!"

Rae looked over to Cassus seeing him smile and think about her plan. She irresistibly smiled seeing him thinking. It was hard not to when he could possibly like it or he could say no and make his own plan. It was rather quiet until he finally broke the silence telling her that it was a good plan. Her smile widened a little more than before hearing him say what he did. "Oh really? No one ever listened to me before about my ideas. I was always told that I was crazy!" she said happily with a smile. She smiled again feeling his hand on her shoulder. "I think I'll remember that." she said winking back cutely. She was somewhat surprised that he actually sat there and listened to her drone on about her powers. It wasn't something she usually discussed.

Seeing his frown it confused her for a short second before he spoke up again. She had a feeling with seeing the way he was thinking that maybe he was tossing around the thought of her becoming something.. she wouldn't know for sure. Maybe he was just asking as a general question so he would know what to expect when heading into the face of danger. She now wondered what the pirates would be like when they got there. She had fought a few, but only a small handful. Listening to what he was saying, made a smile grow onto her face. As he stood up, she waited for him to go ahead of her before getting up and then following him outside. She heard him mention the grenades and a short giggle came from her as she grabbed some and hooked them to her belt. "Oh believe me, I've got them." she said still giggling.

Laughing, Cassus shrugged at the young girl as she smiled widely back at him. The Jedi Knight felt something through the Force at that point. He wasn't sure what it was he felt, maybe it was nothing, maybe it was just his mind playing tricks on him at that point. "I don't think your ideas are crazy... I think they're... inspired." Seeing her wink almost made him believe that he was actually feeling something before. Grinning back he answered, "Good, you better remember that!"

Leading her off the ship, Cassus walked down into the cover of some large stone monoliths. "Alright," he states as he makes his way to the cover of one of the stones, "I'm thinking we approach using these boulders, but we're going to have to be fast, so stay low, keep your eyes open, and make sure to use the Force. If you're ready, let's go." Starting off the Knight led his young companion over the grassy plains of Lothal through rocky outcroppings from monolith to monolith. After a few minutes they had managed to get into a position overlooking the exchange of smugglers. Turning to face his companion he asked, "Are you ready? We'll go in on your signal."

The smile Rae had, stayed on her face for a while as she had even noticed the look on his face as he was somewhat daydreaming. He looked cute when he was doing his far off in the distance look. It was another thing she liked with him. Hearing him say that her ideas were inspired gave her a slightly new confidence as she smiled again. "Really? That's the best thing I've heard in.. two years." she said still smiling. "And believe me, I will remember. I tend to not forget many things." she said.

Rae followed Cassus over to a large stone and came up next to him, looking down quickly at the smugglers making trade as she realized something that would hold them up most likely and it was also something unexpected. She then turned back around to look at Cassus as he started talking out the plan. She smirked slightly at him when he said they'd need to use the force. "The force will be useful in this situation. It seems they have a red-bladed visitor and were prepared." she said quietly taking another look to see a dark sided force user with the smugglers.

When Cassus said for her to move when she was ready, she gave a short nod before keeping low and moving quickly and swiftly from boulder to boulder before getting the closest they could without being seen, but could still hear the conversation. She turned at the same time Cassus had and they were practically nose to nose when she nodded, looking into his eyes for a second before breaking her gaze from his and looked down towards the smugglers again and regretfully confirmed the sight of the sith. A small moaning sound came from her as she turned around to confirm her previous sights. "It looks like my eyes weren't fooling me. We truly have some competition due to there being an Inquisitor down there." she stated before decided that then would be a good time to move. It was a gut feeling. She gave the signal to move in and pulled the smoke bombs from her belt, handing two to Cassus before running forward, running the planned route landing the bombs carefully, quickly and calmly.

Vihu slowed the starfighter as they realized they landed. He saw the small drop where the large opening the trade was being conducted. Vihu thought while the starfighter was in a complete halt, hovering. He flew to the flatland around the hill leading to the drop and landed. He got out, pulling a sith sniper rifle from a compartment, keeping the starship in its invisible state, and ran up the hill. There was no cover, so he kept to the ground. He army crawled to the edge and looked over it, down at the situation. He pulled out a pair of macrobinoculars and looked through them.

He started to plan the best course of action. One side of him wants to warn the dark jedi and let them know they were going to be surprise attacked. One side wanted him to keep the stash himself. He thought of which would prove more beneficial as he watched the two people planting smoke bombs. His sniper rifle lay next to him.
