The moon is full, the people rejoice, let the Moonfall Festival begin!

train_station_by_madspartan013-d5xz38x.jpg
The world of Anaxes, a tranquil world and poster child of the success of the Republic. Each year on this heavily populated world they hold the Moonfall festive,l a weeklong celebration on the first full moon of each Anaxian year, but this year is special for not only is it the thousandth anniversary of the celebration a very unexpected guest has come to join them, former prime minister with the highest approval rating ever and a huge voice in anti-Sith movement Pilra Kopro was released from Sith capture just in time to celebrate this momentous occasion, Senators and world leaders from all over not only the republic but the Galaxy have arrived for the festival.

As the preparations for everything continue something stirs behind the common eyes of the Anaxian people, but not all, the Anaxian intelligence agency has discovered that there may be a threat to the life of Pilra Kopro, an assassin of some sort has been assigned to remove him on the opening night either at the grand banquet for honoured guests or the opening ceremony following. Head of security on Anaxes Hasine Shar’lil in conduction with public representative Filroy Predeesh has made all the necessary precautions and tripled the average amount of security but she still feels un easy, she feels that this threat might be a Sith threat so she has contacted the Jedi for some minor assistance, the Jedi reluctantly complied sending three Padawan as extra muscle.

*Letto sits quietly in the back of a Jedi shuttle as it slowly approached the colourful world of Anaxes, his eyes glued to his datapad looking up some information on Anaxes occasionally looking back at the mission briefing.*

Mission description:
Go to Anaxes and aid the Anaxian officials where needed, we have also been informed you will be placed incognito as a party goer at the banquet pretending to be honoured guests of the government so bring a nice change of clothing to blend into the crowd.

*Letto looked to his side seeing his his nice tailored suite he just had it pressed so he felt he’d looked really spiffy when there. Suddenly the ship began to rattle as it began to enter the atmosphere of Anaxes as Letto looked out the view port he could see many ships traveling to towards the planet all bound for Pol Anaxes the capital where the festivities are centred. As they grew closer to their destination the sky stayed dark, it was quite late on Anaxes, but there was a vibrant glint of colour coming from below, more then most average big cities, guess then general public had already started partying.*

Lanna stood on the side of one of the busy roads of Anaxes. Of course, it was only this busy due to the enormous party the natives were throwing. She found herself watching them from the side, observing their various activities and little rituals from dancing, to children pulling their mothers around trying to show them the next one of their eye catching discoveries. They all seemed to float down the street, to end up in the main square where the former prime minister Pilra Kopro would be making an appearance with the new senator. Lanna had already walked up and down a few of the streets in preparation for her mission. She planned ahead for this particular assignment because she knew her master would not be joining her on this one. He let her go off on her own for the first time, which meant she wanted to do her best to accomplish the oncoming tasks. She was excited, deep down, which made her jittery. Despite her inner excitement, she would not be sharing her feelings with anyone. Situations such as these were expected to be taken seriously.
She wore tan padawan robes which did not have long draping sleeves attached to them, but cut off at the shoulders. Her hair was wild, and her light saber was securely hooked onto her belt. Over her attire, she wore a dark brown hood, that concealed her identity from any drones above the crowds.
Time had been counting down to the festival, and it would be starting soon. She then began to make her way across the streets, to the building she told the head of security she would arrive at.

When she got there, she waited at a desk for a few minutes, looking around the extravagant building until she was pulled aside to the woman's office. There were two other young looking jedi standing side by side. She did not know either of them, but it was her greatest pleasure to meet and work with them. She just wanted to know who outranked who. It was a blunt thought, but it did occur to her that there might be a teamwork struggle between them. Lanna knew that a silly dispute between the adolescence could be the end of their trip. Or it could cost even more. She would be trying her best to get along.
The woman behind the desk glared at them with a look of little amusement. "I asked for Jedi, and they send us younglings."
Lanna stepped forward. "In all respect, Ma'am, we are all Jedi." She looked back at her two peers. "Assuming these are the other two Jedi the council has assigned me to work with, I am confident we will complete our mission successfully. And to close that note, I can give you my word that we will protect the security of your planet with as much diligence as you would yourself Madam Hasine Shar"lil."

Standing before a full body mirror in his temporary quarters, Rhonan looked at the reflection of a stranger. Perhaps he had not clinically studied himself in a while, or perhaps he truly hadn't had a mirror to gaze into. Ever since the incident involving his Master's injury and the chaos that followed on its coattails, the youthful roundness that Rhonan once had seemed to have melted away. Stony planes and angles formed the face that looked back at him, eyes hard and set under a troubled brow. Rhonan's mane had grown out, as well, the tail of his topknot nearly at shoulder length. Sighing for a moment, the Padawan shook away such clinical thoughts and busied himself with his uniform.
It had been a gift from his Master, said to be traditional Catharese garb, and as a member of their endangered species, it was Rhonan's duty to represent them and their culture. Gone were the layered and earthen fabrics of the Jedi, if only for a brief time. Instead, Rhonan was clad in a crisp jacket and trousers of a matching graphite fabric, its high collar brushing the Cathar's jaw. Polished black boots and matching belt gave Rhonan an air of nobility, but nothing quite so much as the vibrant burgundy sash wrapped around Rhonan's abdomen and over his left shoulder.

"You've gotten yourself into a real Nexxu nest now, haven't you?" Rhonan muttered to his reflection, taking a few deep breaths before departing to join up with his fellow Padawans. Of his two companions, Rhonan was faintly familiar with Letto, though he wouldn't push their relation beyond the bound of acquaintance. The female, however, he had never met before. She made something of a first impression when she talked down the desk clerk in short order. Rhonan may have had his own retort in not as many words, but any additional quips form "petulant younglings" such as themselves would be overkill.

"Well said, Padawan," Rhonan said in a low tone, managing a smile when the clerk had turned her back, "Rhonan Tor," he said, extending a large hand, knuckles riddled in scars, "Padawan."

*Letto had changed into his suit as the ship landed and all Letto disembarked on a landing platform on the side go a tall building with a gold tint, the capital building, directly outside there was a door way inside leading to a collection of elevators in front of the door a well dressed man stood, Filroy Predeesh, he waved at Letto with a fake politician smile, Letto waved back. Filroy swiped a card key opening the door as they both went in.* “I’m glad you arrived, I was worried you had trouble landing with all the traffic.”

“N… no, think it was fine.” “Good, the others are downstairs.” *Filroy and Letto stepped into the elevator Filroy pressed the lowest button down everything in this building was so extravagant even the lobby for the elevator had a chandelier probably worth more money then Letto has had in his entire life. Letto could see the stress behind Filroy’s face, despite his term as senator was over he was in charge of this whole even and it looked like it was killing him, Letto decided not to bring up the mission in case he blew up.* “So, good turn out this year?” “Yeah! Best ever! We have people from all over the galaxy even as far as Zakuul! Could you believe that?!” “Zakuul? That’s far, haha, wow.” *Letto was happy to see a bit of happiness return to Filroy, he definitely deeply cared about his work and his world.*

*The elevator ride was long they went down what seemed like hundreds of floors until finally they reached the lobby, Letto and him stepped out into the foyer where the others stood. Filroy cleared his throat.* “Jedi, were glad you could all make it any bit of help is fantastic not to mention I hope this evening can be educational teaching you a thing about etiquette. Ahh perfect timing!“ *Suddenly the doors to the lobby swung open a woman came in wearing a trench coat with a assault vest over top, her face was stern and weathered as she ingested some kind of substance through a cigar, Filroy stood beside her and introduced her.* “Jedi this is head of security on Anaxes Hasine Sar’lil, she’s en charge of security tonight but… You should know that if you read the briefing like you were supposed to, heheh.”

*Letto remembered her from the briefing on the datapad, except in that she looked very different Letto figured that it was because now she was wearing a assault vest. She stepped forward a datapad in her palm.* “I’m not much of one for chit chat so sorry if you don’t learn my life story. Tonight you kids have a very important job we want you to blend into the banquet, socialize and see if you can sense anything suspicious as you know Sith “War criminal” and former prime minister Pilra Korpo is making his first public appearance tonight since his release and out intelligence has gotten the feeling they didn’t want to release him in the first place so they want to silence him. First is the dinner dance you are to merely just socialize with others just make up some persona for yourselves. After we go outside onto the grand balcony for the great speech to the people of Anaxes. There you will be socializing less and more keeping a keen eye out for anything.” *Hasine reached into her pocket where she pulled out five communicators, she handed one to each Padawan and one to Filroy, keeping one for herself.* “Use these to communicate to us do not and I mean do not engage anybody, contact us and we’ll dispatched some muscle,we have agents everywhere in a 4 click radius around this place.” *Hasine paused.* “I think that’s everything, I gotta go help security on 4th street so I’ll be gone for awhile but you’ll see me around, Filroy you take the squirts upstairs.” *Filroy nodded as he made his way to the elevator.*

*Letto looked at Rhonan and giggled a bit, Letto could tell she was the kind of person that's probably wrested a Gundark and killed it*

Lanna stood tall. She was the shortest one in the room, but wanted to make sure she conveyed a facade of aloof confidence. She no longer stood in a way that appeared to be brittle and stiff as she did when she was young. Instead she created her own confidence.
When the head of security finished briefing them, the three Jedi made their way to the elevator, and stepped inside. There was one more recruit that Letto seemed to be well acquainted with. A senator, apparently. She was not sure if she trusted the senator, seeing that he was not a fellow Jedi. She took the feeling and stored it somewhere back in her head, just in case she would need to investigate later.
When they stepped out of the elevator, she finished clipping her communicator to her wrist where she liked it. She then looked up, giving her partners a friendly smile. "Hello, I'm Lanna Singh. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you. I hope you're ready to get to work. I know I am." She held out her hand, giving a firm handshake. She actually sneakingly judged others by their handshakes. If they were firm, it meant they were likely serious, or possibly went out of their way to be respective. If they had a loose, awkward grip, it meant they had a lack of attention to detail. Of course she knew a person's character couldn't be judged simply by the actions of their hands. You had to study whether or not they looked at you in the eye when they talked, or how they held their arms when they stood to talk.
Despite Lanna's knack for documenting such detailed aspects of each of her acquaintances, she tried her best not to freak them out by glaring at them with the wide, blank gaze her master mentioned she might want to improve on.
"I need to go change, so I will be back in a minute. It seems you two know each other, so you can visit while I'm gone." She assumed based on the friendly gestures Letto was expressing towards the other Jedi, they were familiar with each others company. With a slight wave, she turned, making her way to the bathroom. She pulled off the padawan robes, and slipped on a champagne colored dress that reached down to her knees. It had capped sleeves, and fit nicely. It was a lot more mature than the dress she wore the last time she attended her last fancy party. It happened to be the first mission she ever executed. It was certainly an experience, as she quickly learned would be the beginning of many more. Placing her padawan robes in a vacant cabinet, she slipped on a pair of sparkly flats that she wore last time as well. Her feet had not grown, it seemed. Lanna took a second to study her outfit in the mirror of the gleaming clean bathroom. The white counters were spotless, and there were little green plants by the corners of the sink.
She fluffed her hair, trying to make it look the best she could. She rarely brushed it, and did not know how to even go about tying it up. It didn't look quite so professional, but she figured she could leave it the way it was.
Lastly, she strapped on her belt. She hooked her light saber to it, keeping it safe. She would not let someone steal it. That was a lesson she would rather not have to go through again. It was concealed, so nobody would know it was a saber unless she took it out. They would probably assume it was a blaster, or baton. She was not worried about though. She felt much more conscience of her surroundings then she used to be.
Stepping out of the bathroom, she walked back to her fellow Jedi. "Okay. Why don't we discuss our plan then."

*Letto stepped into the elevator following Filroy the elevator was very elegant with velvet colour trimming and another chandelier, Letto was counting every chandelier he saw, he was currently at 27. When his new Jedi companion put out her hand Letto gave a playfully smile and graciously shook it.* “Nice to meet you, my name is Chel Letto but just… heh… call me Letto.” *Letto’s handshake was firm but he quickly pulled away realizing something.* “Wait… Lanna? That was my mothers name, hunh…” *Letto chuckled slightly at the circumstance.* “Small galaxy? Hah.”

Luxury-Hotel-Hallway-with-Elegant-Chandelier.jpg

*When the elevator inevitably reach the proper floor Filroy left waiting for the three Jedi to follow, there was a long hallway with washrooms on each side, at the end quite a ways away there lay a huge pair of double doors with one door open with people poring in, assumably that was the banquet.* “I assume you have to get ready.” *Filroy said nervously.* “So umm, I’ll meet you in there, don’t run off, here.” *Filroy handed Lanna a small plastic card.* “This’ll get you in.” *Filroy then quickly hurdled down the hallway waving back at the Jedi. Letto awkwardly waved back. Moments later Lanna mentioned she needed to change Letto nodded and leanedwall opposite the washroom, Letto made small talk with Rhonan to pass the time.* “It’s really good to see you again, how’ve you been, have you seen Lael recently?” *Letto was all around i a good mood he really enjoyed the two Jedi he was assigned with and he believe this was going to be painfully easy. Suddenly Lanna came back out of the washroom in a very nice gown, he made a mental note of how nice the dresses colour went with her eyes, it was very satisfying. Lanna began d discussing the plan Letto had grown lost in thought and had to shake his head to return to reality, he then nodded and got in closer.* “I think we should still act casual and maybe just take turns leaving our table to look around the banquet hall?”

(OOC: Sorry for this being super late couple notes, for one Zenya could I see a image of the dress? I'm really flamboyant and curious. xP and also how did moving go @StormWolf ?)

Arms folded at the small of his back in a stiff and strict posture, Rhonan held his shoulders square and his head high. Frankly, he felt somewhat silly. Despite the strength of his body, he was still unsure of himself. After the hardships in the past few weeks, many of which he felt personally responsible for, Rhonan did not feel entirely sure of his own abilities. Doubt had nestled itself in his mind like some kind of maggot, nibbling away at what had once been brazen bravado. Despite these inky shadows, Rhonan knew when there was a job that needed to get done. Though his Master may be gone, the lessons of wise Hlodovic remained.

Remember the Flame and the Void.

Igniting the fire of focus within his mind, it flickered as the Padawan fed all distraction into it. They were more plentiful now than he ever recalled, larger and darker, threatening to snuff out the twinkling candle-light. He set his jaw, grinding his teeth until the gums hurt. Pain was a mindset, fear was a choice. Doubt was a poisoned chalice one had to choose to drink from. Rhonan would refuse for as long as he could. Taking a few deep breaths, Rhonan poured whatever focus he had into what the security chief had been saying, noting her brusque demeanor and combative mood, first. He clenched his jaw again, stopping up any rebuttal that would have come to mind. Instead, he gave a gruff harumph as he snatched the communicator from the officer as she passed.

As Lanna departed to ready herself for the mission, Rhonan stood with his back to one of the ornately carved walls when Letto approached him. Despite himself, Rhonan managed a tight smile for his friend. He and Letto had all but grown up in the Order, and their friendship survived the crucible of their wayward escape from Tython, which was no small ordeal. Still, the smile was uncomfortable. The new scars from the past few weeks were still tender, especially those that scrawled their way down the right side of his face.

"Lael is..." his jaw worked silently for a moment, trying to find the words, "She is healing, but the wound was severe," Rhonan said somberly, averting his eyes as he felt them sting in remembrance. "She'll be fine, though," he said through grit teeth, his nose twitching slightly. Taking a moment, Rhonan had his composure back in place by the time Lanna was back among them.

"I agree. Best to not waste time when so much is at stake, yes?"

Something kinda like that... :3

Lanna nodded. "Sounds good." She ignored the hint of a somber tone in Rhonan's voice. It sounded as if his friend had been hurt pretty badly. But even so, she didn't want him to feel as if she were offering her pity. That would be careless, and it wouldn't heal anything. "This is obviously a very fancy party, and there aren't many young people here, so let's act like the polite stuck up little rich kids we ought to portray. If anyone asks, I was here with my aunt who happens to be one of the officials, but she was sick, so she stepped out." She gave a joking smile, and continued to test out the communication device on her wrist.
She already decided that she wanted to eventually take a look around the exterior of the enormous government building from the top floor.
They had stepped out to an open room at the heart of the building. It opened down to the very first floor below them. They could look over the railing and see the elaborately colored floor below several levels down. There were people pouring in, wearing their colorful, sparkling dresses, and outfits, which streaked the floors with character.

"It seems the party has really started." Taking a deep breath, Lanna made sure she remained focused. There was a lot of pressure surrounding the outcome of the next few hours. Hand resting casually on her light saber, concealed away so nobody would see it, she turned to her attention back to her partners. "I'll take the first shift."
After they nodded in agreement, she made her way down to the ballroom floor. Descending several flights of steps, she stepped off the white marble, to the dark glass of the opening floor. Taking the stairs was not necessary, but she did want to get a good look of what the building looked like. She took note of it.

As she turned to continue making her way to the ballroom, a person pushed roughly passed her.
"My apologies," he said, twisting back around to face her.
She would admit, she didn't see him. He was walking at a pretty speedy pace, but that was to be expected from the crowd. It was probably just the excitement of the evening.
"It's not a problem," She assured, smoothing down her skirt. She almost lost her balance. It seemed her focus wasn't as sharp as she thought it was. Or at least, she wasn't focusing in the right direction. "My name is Lanna Singh." She held out a hand, in a polite gesture.
The man was human, tall, and looked to be strong. He seemed to be in his thirties. She also deducted that he was a fairly attractive individual. He wore a formal outfit, with a dark coat reaching down below his knees.
He gave her a firm handshake with a smile she could only describe as fake. Maybe arrogant. "You can call me Canan. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go meet my wife before it gets too crowded. I do hope you'll understand.
"Of course." She said, politely. "Maybe we will find the time to talk again soon."
With that, he left, and she continued to make her way to the ballroom.

*Letto nodded in agreement to the others thoughts on the plan, As they made their way down the hall Lanna spoke of here new person when in the room as she spoke Letto thought up his own.* “Ummm, I’m… the foster son of wealthy business man and owner of Sendocorp, we make huh… Mining equipment and my father is probably out and about chatting up the ladies!” *When they reached the upper deck balcony Letto could only look an stare at the beautiful banquet hall gleaming with pristine, “43” Letto thought out loud, his chandelier counter still going up. When Lanna said that she’ll take the first shift Letto nodded as he made his way down the stairs, there were people dancing in the centre room and tables off to the sides Letto saw an open one with three seats Letto gestured to Rohnan to follow then spoke.* “There, that place looks good.”

*As Letto walked over to the table in a quieter part of the hall he could look up and see heavily armed men in suites walking about with head piece and blaster pistols, they weren’t kidding when they said there was a lot of security Letto could see at least 20 guards above and that wasn’t counting the ones probably hidden in the crowd. Even then he could definitely feel a disturbance in the force, something was watching the whole party but them in particular, something sinister. Letto could see over the crowd there was a large platform with a long table and chairs on the opposite side as the staircase coming into the hall, behind the, the window had been opened into what looked like a balcony. At the table sat many famous figures including a few senators, the PM of Anaxes, Filroy as well as at the centre seat sat Pilra Kopro, a shrivelled up, near starving by the looks of old man, yet he looked very wise despite what he’d been through.*

(OOC: that dress is super cute 10/10)

Following after Letto while Lanna took to the banquet floor, the young Cathar walked with a rigid stride, his chin held high as if he couldn't bother to look down the broad bridge of his nose at anyone. Lanna may have insisted they behave as polite whelps of the high class, but Rhonan had never seen anything of the sort in his time. To him, they were as arrogant as they were opulent, weighing their coffers against the worth of individuals. Folding his hands at the small of his back, Rhonan turned in a small orbit, his eyes flitting to every corner and wall of the room, mentally making a not of all entrances and exits, as well as those obviously carrying some form of armament.

"Either the loathed guest is more dangerous than implied, or the chief has little faith in the skills of her men..."
Rhonan muttered to Letto as they neared the table. Clapping his friend on the shoulder, Rhonan crossed to the railing of the upper balcony, resting upon it as he surveyed the grounds the same way he had measured the interior of the ballroom. Playing the part of an aristocrat from a presently endangered species, Rhonan did his best to keep his head down. He was not brought into this for his fledgling social graces, and he knew it. When things inevitably went to bantha poodoo, Rhonan was in place to be the hunter.

"Do we have any idea what our guest looks like? Species? World of origin? All I see is shark teeth..." Rhonan muttered into the commlink up his sleeve as he swiveled his head from side to side.

She made it to the ballroom, which spread across the surrounding space. There were shining wooden floors, elegantly decorated with people gliding across its surface. The walls were spotlessly white, and chandeliers hung from the ceiling, holding hundreds of crystals on a single wire. It was grandly lit, especially considering the light of so many lanterns and things from the outside. Midnight was approaching, and the party was as alive as ever.
Lanna did not feel tired, but instead had a tiny strand of adrenaline running through her, as if it were being pulled along her veins by a thin string. Her eyes were the only hint of the approaching night. As time moved on, her eyes felt like they could droop. Maybe if she weren't so excited they would. She loved it when she was assigned missions, and took them with the utmost attitude of respect. It was almost childish. Of course the possibility occurred to her, but she dismissed it, burying her excitement away with it.
The attendees of the upper class party all seemed to be enjoying themselves, drinking from the tax supplied champagne, and filling the room with talk and an aroma of pristine chatter. Lanna helped herself to a long stemmed glass of punch, letting the sugary liquid run down her throat. It woke up her taste buds, and she paused in the moment. She hadn't had a bite since breakfast. How careless of her. She moved the glass in small shallow circles, letting the liquid rock around close to the edges of the glass.
Lanna didn't sense anything that was off. Of course, there was not only a great amount of people, but so many people all harboring such intense emotions. Mostly they were excited and reckless. Boastful and prideful. Passionate and joyful. On a celebration such as this, it was understandable that the personal moral of the individuals would be intense, but she didn't expect it to feel so static. It was interfering with her focus, and the fact that she was feeling slightly frustrated, didn't help.
"Looking good..." She said to herself.
It was then that a voice, one divided from the others, captured her attention. It belonged to a man, but carried a strange whim of femininity along with it.
"What a fantastic view. Do take note of it, Canan."
Lanna turned to look at the one who spoke, and met eyes with a man who had his arms folded, and posture straight. He looked at her for only a moment, and then turned to the man she had met earlier. Cannan.
How peculiar it was that they caught her attention. No, not strange at all. They must have caught her attention for a reason only defined by the smallest waver in the force. Yet, that was all she needed to store away the indefinite suspicion tagged onto any other encounters they may have had.
This man seemed much more serious in contrast to Canan, who stood a few inches above him. An unlikely match it seemed.
"Hey partners," She said into the communication device on her wrist. "I have two suspects. It's just a hunch - a small one, but I wanted to take a note of it. Two party guests, one who goes by the name of Canan, and the other I have yet to communicate with. Canan is tall, and kind of scruffy. Dark hair, dark eyes. He is human. The other one seems to be human as well. He is shorter, and much more put together. Dark hair and lighter eyes..." She trailed off. They met eyes again, and this time, he stopped to take notice that she had her wrist raised to her mouth.
She lowered it slowly, standing up slowly, and smiled politely. She then turned and left.

As Letto walked a few feet to the closest punch bowl his comlink buzzed first Rhonan buzzed in ranting about leads, “N… No thus far everybody in here and I mean everybody is a suspect.” Letto marched back to his table taking a swig of punch, it tasted like capitalism, when he got another buzz on the comlink this time from Lanna, as Lanna went on Letto got this strange tingle on the back of his knock when he turned around he found his eyes wandering upwards, all around the room above the upper balcony there was a collection of vents, Letto didn’t know if they were guarded but he could feel something up there, or someone. Letto got up, finishing his punch as he made his way for the stair case, he tapped his comlink, “Umm guys hang out here, I wanna check something out, I may be out of contact for awhile.” *Letto ran up the stairs after leaving the ballroom and back into the hallway where they first came up he panned left down another hall way labelled “maintenance” the hallway was long but at the end banked left Letto hid at the corner and peered around there was a guard standing there motionless right arm up showing his comlink, by his garments you could tell that the officials really went all out he was decked out. Letto didn’t really know what to do, he was clearly too young to pull the I’m a Jedi card and this guy looked like too much of a hardass to fall for the “I have a lightsaber” trick, Letto swallowed his pride and stepped forward.

Letto put out his hand closing his eyes but for some reason he heard nothing no yelling or questioning, he was going to try to trick him but he still remained suspended there as Letto grew closer he could see the man shaking as he looked down at his comlink unable to say or do anything to Letto, Letto knew that whatever he saw up there clearly had come here earlier and used a mind trick of their own to turn this man into a millorun, Letto knew he had to stop this person so he continued to run down the hall way, if Letto was correct this hallway should of been on the other side of the vents he saw so when he saw his first ventilation access port open he didn’t hesitate to go in the vents were about 5 by 5 feet making Letto have to duck to enter the duct he climbed into went directly into the one circling the ballroom but as he reproached the ballroom a different sound could be heard it was thundering applause, Pilra had come up to the podium to speak the crowd was enthralled yet over the applause Letto could hear tapping in the ducts where he walked, Letto tried to use his comlink but for some reason he couldn’t, it was being jammed Letto got very confused but as he looked down he could see some random well dressed business man attempting to use his comlink as well to no prevail, was somebody jamming communications in the ballroom? What was going on?!
