"Lower your weapons, and I will describe it," answered Kohaku, a hand resting over an open scroll on the table. Although blind, Kohaku had methods of telling rough shapes of his surroundings. The scroll is his key to doing so, although the shinobi did not say himself.

A very foolish thing to say is "it is safe here", partly because it is suspicious on the speaker's part, and secondly, it only rouses tensions among shinobi.

Ozeaki turned and regarded the two that entered. A jounin and Genin by the look of it. They seemed emotion filled types too... how... dissapointing. But this was more i mportant than his views. He turned to listen to Kohaku.

Ruukil flicked the senbon back into his sleeve and lowered his finger back in line witht he rest.{"I would like to know what has happened. That is why we are here no doubt."}He waited for an answer, not impatiently but time should never be wasted.

Kohaku pulled out a scroll and unraveled it. It took up half of the space on the table once unrolled. The hunter formed a handseal and tapped the second scroll. A map of the region came into view. "A western general is threatening the samurai forces towards the north. Initially, this was to be a covert operation. However, the front in the Land of Tundras," he began, pointing towards the northern, mountainous region, "has been abandoned. The general moved to sea."

"His fleet consists of four warships and two cruisers. The numbers of the crews are unknown as of now. Latest intel indicates he is headed in our direction, hence our meeting here. This general is to be captured," emphasized Kohaku. "The Shinobi Lord wishes to have an audience with him alone."

{"Must he be in good condition? Enough to 'talk' with the our lord shinobi?"}He grinned at the prospect of capture, he'd needed the challenge of capture for a wile and a general...

"Yes," answered the hunter, double-tapping the map scroll and rolling it up to be stored in his clothes. "I hope everyone here has experience in sui-ren. We're swimming."

((can we not run on the water?))

''My water and mist techniques will be useful, then.'' Ozeaki replied. He was formalising plans already, hidden behind his mask and cloak.

((Want to get caught by cannon-tooting westerners?))

"I'd refrain from using concealing techniques early, as that may reveal our presence to the general. He's not a fool," countered Kohaku. "We're going to have to find their fleet and approach under the cover of darkness. Tonight is a new moon, so the only lights in the night are the stars."

''As you wish.'' Though both were in the 136, Kohaku was given the mission details. He was superior this time around. This time.

{"Then who shall take the man from the nest and intothe clutches of the hawk?"}He made a reference to a poem known usually by hunter nin. His finger touched his breathing tube kept in his sleeve.

((OOCs without RP content go to the OOC thread, okay? Mrun brings up a point though: how does a jonin know of hunter nin poems? Poems are like... Passwords...))

"It all depends on the situation," answered Kohaku.

The hunter had some preparations to do. He carries a lot of paper items around - paper that could be ruined by prolonged immersion to water. On top of that, he is not
very trustful of Ozeaki. Even so, visual tensions between members of the 136 are rarely seen.

Ozeaki looks to the jounin. ''How long before nightfall?'' His single ruby red eye stares out of his orange spiralling mask.

Ozeaki knelt on the ground, and closed his eyes. He took off his black gloves, and removed the Kuro-Itamae from their special sealed bag. He did not remove the scroll of summoning: shinigami scythe from his bag. He put the fingerless gloves on, taking the long leather studded straps, and tying them up his forearm. He clapped, and got up. ''I am prepared.''

Mathias stood by the captain's cabin of the ship Enlightened Crevasse, a hand resting on the hilt of his heavy claymore. None of his crew questioned the ability of their general: although he looks thin, General Austere can carry his claymore, one-handed, with ease. Two other ships, cruiser-types, flanked the Western warship.

“Douse the lights,” he ordered, “the Land of Oceans is not far from here.”

Guard duty was doubled, and Mathias retired to his cabin as the sun sank over the horizon. His eyes would not close, so the general simply smoked a cigarette in the dark. If not tonight, the continent’s militants would never attack his small fleet of ships. Where the sun sank, a massive armada approaches. They will be here in two days.

Kohaku nods, finishing the spiritually refined protective coating around his scrolls, and sliding them into their respective hiding places around his body. “We’ll set off now. Stay hidden until the sun fully set, but keep eyes open for three ships.”

Ozeaki nodded, leaving the room. His hunter instinct taking over. He jumps off the high cliffs, landing behind some high rocks. He sits, in the one dry spot in the area, ready to unleash the Rei-Tai and Kyuuketsugan in the combat to come...
