For a year or so Lukor Haulder, Acolyte of the Sith Empire, disapeared from the order. His whereabouts only pointed deep in the unknown regions of space. However, Fates Hand has now reappeared. It's metallic wings slicing through the blackness of space, the engines roaring with the fury of hell itself. Inside the bowels of the ghost-ship sat a man cloaked in black. Down to his robes and the wrappings on his face, the man scowled as he entered known space, a place he had not been in a very long time. Much of what he had remembered had faded. His force connection had weakened and knowledge of the current happenings remain even more unknown.

As the coordinance were punched in, the hyperdrive of the great ship launched into unimaginable speeds. Stars and planets zoomed in flashes as the ship sped to its' destination; Korriban.

For some time, the ship remained in speeds. The repetitiveness of the hypnotizing colors was erased in flashes of white from each sun and reset into the same pattern. In the ship, a small room lay with a single rug without the life of light. Inside this room, Lukor meditated, his form floating an inch off the ground. The force began to pulsate, although quietly, hitting the durasteel walls of the room with a light vibration.

In a matter of hours, the alarm to exit hyperspace sounded. Slowly opening his eyes, Lukor stood up and made his way to the cockpit. Sitting in the captians' chair, Lukor pressed a few buttons and pulled a lever before the ship exited hyperspace. In sight; the dead rock of Korriban.

Working slowly, Lukor lessened the power of the engines as to slow the ship down. As Fate's Hand stopped its' speed, some distance away from Korriban, Lukor attempted communication to the planet's academy. As the screen began to scratch and blur, the bald individual sat back in his chair, with his face perfectly calm, his legs crossed and fingers interlaced. Once his image could be projected on screen, Lukor cleared his throat of any disruptions and inhaled greatly.

"This is Acolyte Lukor Haulder, to Korriban, do you read me? I repeat; this Acolyte Lukor Haulder... Dark Lord Mannux, are you there?"

His eyes remained half-shut, and his voice raspy and quiet. Lukor was unaware of the current leadership of the sith, leading him to believe the dark lord of his time remained. His tongue lapped over his teeth, soon conjoining to his lips as he awaited answer from the planet below. Although Lukor was once a patient man, time in the unknown regions took its' toll on his mind. His left eyelid and lip twitched often and his feet would often begin to shake slowly. His breathing speed up as the answer was not quick to answer.

What was only mere seconds seemed like an eternity in Lukor's mind. His madness began to affect his body, as he legs spread and his fingers began to dance in a repetitive tap to a silent opra. His nostrils flared and the veins on his forehead, where markings of pain were inflicted, slowly bulged to small sizes. His teeth gritted and tightened and his eyebrows narrowed. Lukor was a broken kath hound, both mentally and physically.

After a few minutes past, Lukor reopened comm to the planet. His impatience had risen too far.

"Damn it all, is anyone on this rock at all?!"

Lukor shouted over comm. His breathing was brought through clenched teeth as his eyes were now wide open. Tapping the arm rest on his ship, Lukor awaited response.

OOC: Uh... Anyone home?

Life. Something still lived on this dead planet afterall. As soon as the message came along, Lukor answered with utmost speed. Clearing his throat, gagging a bit of spit, Lukor proceeded to return the call.

"I demand safe passage to the planet and into the Sith academy; I will have a meeting with Dark Lord Carden Mannux on the double!"

Restarting the engines, Lukor flew the ship towards the planet's atmosphere his intention quite clear.

As the comm entered static from the last word, Lukor grinned. His pride seemed to get the best of him on this moment. He was a deserted acolyte from another time, but this new voice, a pup by Lukor's standards, knew his place.

"Ha! At least there is still some sense in admiration in this order!"

Fate's Hand gracefully glided through the thick air of the fallen planet, with Lukor at the helm. As the ship slowly landed inside its' hanger, Lukor sighed as the ship pressureized and stood in its' place. Standing up, Lukor let loose the hatch and walked down the ramp into the extreme heat.

Torin walked out to great him. "sir i have been ordered to do your bidding while you are here is there anything you need?" torin asked...rather afraid. He was atualy a little scarred of the man as he could feel so much of the darkside within him.

((OOC; Just so you know, i'm gonna be claiming this is before the gathering his team thread, so that any of the main, active sith above apprentice are actually around, as opposed to locked in space and time somewhere, waiting for time to pass. OH and lonewolf, I'm gonna make Rogal your teacher, if you don't already have one, so please forgive his rudeness here.))

He was sat on the other side of the hangar, having been sent here a short while ago to prepare a ship for the Dark lord, so he saw the acolyte go grovelling towards the newly returned man. He could see his fear, and could see the other mans feeling of superiority.

He couldn't be sure, but the newly returned man didn't appear much more powerful than your average acolyte, but also had a different feeling to him, almost as if he was once more, but had let the power slip by him....

Annoyed at the way the... boy was treating this newcomer, he walked over, his armored boots clunking loudly with each step. They both noticed him, when he was about three quarters of the way across the hangar, and a short distance from them.

He faced the downtrodden acolyte, and spoke shortly and sharply, Return to your quarters. When I am done here, I will summon you.

With a simple hand gesture to further imply the message of "go away now" He turned to face The other acolyte, and once more spoke, with a similar tone, but little more patience this time however.

Name and rank. Now. If you have a master already, tell me so I can locate him, and have him punished for not controlling his acolytes better.

He raised his voice slightly with the last sentence, but did not change his expression at all, remaining emotionless and calm, despite wanting to hurt the grovelling sith for being so pathetic. The Sith were power! They bowed to no-one bar the dark lord, and especially not those who were their equals!

He awaited an answer, confident that this man was no more powerful than he, and therefore, below him in the food chain of the sith, and less likely to try anything he would later regret...

The fear this apprentice desplayed was indeed appetizing. However, this pleasure was ended by the sound of clunking metal. Although his first thought was another shivering whelp, Lukor was given the sour pin-pricks of reality. This newcomer had easily dispersed the young one from his sight and began demanding answers.

As dark as this individual was, he could sense something from him; youth. While Lukor considdered himself young, most of his youth was gone. Crossing arms, Lukor arched his head to look down on the newcomer. What Lukor had failed to realize was that this sith had outranked him.

"Whelp! I have demanded a personal audience with the Dark Lord of the Sith, Carden Mannux! I have information that must be brought to his attention, immediatly!"

His time in the unknown regions cursed his body as the lower lid on his eye twitched slightly, as a wind picked up. Shattered pieces of rubble and stone dived and crashed at Lukor's feet and brushed his sweating scalp. With fingers strumming the muscles of his arms, Lukor awaited an answer from this unknown figure.

He didn't recognize the name of the lord the man wished to speak to, but he didn't care. He would stand for a lot, but not that. Anything but that.

Quietly, he spoke, but as fierce as the strongest tempest and as full of rage,

Whelp?

He straightened, their eyes once again level.

Reaching out through the force, he gripped the newcomer, or was it returnee, by the neck, and squeezed. Not hard enough to render him unconscious, but strong enough to make the acolyte ponder his next action.

You will tell me your name. Or the last thing you see will be me. And I wouldn't want you to be my[/i ]last sight, so I doubt you want the reverse to be true.

He moved a step closer, into the breeze the acolyte was apparently subconsciously causing, and when their faces were incredibly close, he said again, even quieter than before,

I would recommend speaking more quickly, for my patience is now running out...

"Impudent student! I should have your tongue cut out for your lack of respect!"

This student seemed to have matched his height with armor, yet Lukor remained unafraid. Flexing his fingers, Lukor was ready to turn this fledgling sith into ash yet he had an agenda. There was a task at hand, and Lukor was not about to abandon it to a student.

"I have not spent two years in hell to deliver a message to our leader, only to be stopped by a student who relys on armor then his control of battle and the force. Out of my way, fool before you test my patience!"

Lukor brushed past the newcomer, giving a good knock with his shoulder as he made his way towards the academy entrace. What Lukor had not known was that Carden Mannux had long left his title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Lukor's absense from the Sovereign Wars had caused him to miss the switch of two different dark lords.

Busting into the darkness and shadow, Lukor trudged the halls and corridors with an intention to find one who had not existed. Lukor raised his head as he walked, he felt the miss of power. There was something great here, but not as powerful as his former lord. This puzzled him as he reached the center of the academy, his movements comeing to a complete stop.

Having followed the man, he was not far behind when he saw him stop, and look like he was trying to find something.

Walking up until he was close behind him, he spoke again, at a normal tone this time,

Oh, that's right. There is no Carden Mannux here anymore.

Moving to the side of the man, he spoke again, containing his anger at this man, who though himself so superior.

The Dark lord is currently Darth Nexus. The Lord Prior to him was Darth Nefarius. Before him came Udun, i believe. Any of those near the man you sought?

Two years in the unknown regions? That was quite something, considering the number that never came back.

If you tell me your message, I will pass it along, or if you'd prefer, I can deliver you to Lord Nexus, to deliver this message yourself.

He was no longer angry, he was instead, filled with pity. This man had lost so much.

Lukor felt cold as the words passed by his ears; "There is no Carden Mannux here anymore". Could it be true? The bald human stood there, frozen on the spot. Two years flashed in an instant; being stranded, the discovery, and... Lukor had failed his mission. He couldn't feel Carden Mannux because... he was suceeded. The sith's way of hierarchy; apprentice kills the master.

"No... Don't I-..."

Lukor could not find the words; he had failed. The information he found would now be useless or turn into problems. He had prolonged too long, he dare not show signs of weakness or risk his return to the order.

Straightening himself up and taking a deep breath, Lukor looked back to the sith he had fought not a few seconds ago.

"The information is of no importance, nor will it help or hinder the current status of the empire. I have returned to the sith, and shall gladly take my step as Acolyte."

Udun? Nefarius? Nexus?

Three names to which he had either heard of, or not. Udun sounded familiar; one high in the ranks. Nefarius was nothing more then a haze, and Nexus was new. It may have been two years, but in two years, three dark lords had taken the throne of skulls? This was not a good sign for things to come.

He knew change was hard to accept, and by the man's rapid, and extreme change of manner, he could tell it was a huge change, and he had known nothing of it.

Placing a hand on the man's shoulder, a gesture not made often in this place, he spoke quietly,

Welcome home, brother.

Looking around to find his bearings, he saw what he wanted. Straightening up once more, he spoke again,

If you wish, I can have you shown to rooms for you to make your own. I will deal with your ship, make sure the port master knows it belongs to you.

Calling over one of the hopefuls, who were gathering round another acolyte, who was showing off to them, and trying to get them to compete to be his apprentice, he told the hopeful he had collected to show the man to his rooms.

He began walking back to the docks, when he realized what he had forgotten. He called back to the man,

My name is Rogal, and I'll come and collect you later on. But to do that, I'll need your name...

"Lukor..."

Lukor, although rouge from the Sith and trapped in the unknown regions, had returned home.

((Shitty post, I know.))
