Serie walked the long halls of the archaic temple on Korriban. She wasn't looking for a sparring partner or someone she could idly pass the time with. Instead she had sensed some new arrivals to the temple here and wanted to meet them for herself.

She didn't necessarily have her finger on the pulse of what happened in the everyday affairs here at the temple, but she did hear things. Sometimes they were true and sometimes they were not. Which was precisely why she decided to investigate this particular one on her own.

She had heard that a set of twins had arrived from off world, and they already had some affinity with dark side magic and sorcery. If thatbwas the case she would want to have them as her apprentices. She did not enjoy the brutish nature of the others she had attracted. No, she preferred a refined approach, one that was as cold and calculating as she was. If these two were as good as the whispered rumors floating about the temple, then she'd want to see it for herself. She made her way towards one of the largest statues in the temple, her body and head concealed behind her black flowing silk robes and hood. Something told her to look down here for the pair, and she hoped she was right.

KORRIBAN, TEMPLE OF DARK SECRETS

It was not everyday that your mere arrival would have attracted the interest of a Sith Lord. However, they had been blessed since birth and this extension was nothing short of expected. Alexandra stalked through the dark corridors of the temple with her twin sister Alexis at her side. Both of them were lithe and small, figures covered in dark cloaks, nothing that would be intimidating at first glance. But yet, they produced a sinister signature for the very essence of Sith magic prowled around their bodies, anointing them and infusing with a hateful presence.

Lights momentarily dimmed as they approached from several meters behind the new Darth, soft steps gliding their bodies towards Serie. A cruel smile grew upon her lips, as Alexandra the more outspoken of the two carefully lowered her hood. She was an exquisite beauty, though her fondness came with a price to pay. She bowed respectfully towards the Sith Lord,

"Greetings Lord Fond, I am Alexandra and this is my sister Alexis. We are much obliged to be in your company."

It was easy to seethe and seethe as she meditated to her steps in the halls of this Temple, she found. The supernatural power of the universe itself flowed in between her and her sister easily and around them and their steps darkened every passage at their approach, garbed in a black cloak trimmed in dark, alarming red that matched beautifully with the straight hair that frame Alexis’ face. She preferred to listen while her sister did most of the talking, and had learned a great deal about the politics on the ground of Korriban, the spiritual and political capital of the Sith Empire.

The Lords were the first place to start. The Empress and her coterie: Evandrus, Kravos, the Eternal, Malos…more, perhaps? There was only so much time to learn, even as she enjoyed the desert heat. She wasn't much of a beachgoer. Humidity was bad for her skin.

But she knew the face before them as they approached and Alexis smiled demurely as she curtsied with dignity, humbly speaking after her sister in a low contralto.

“My lady.”

It was a simple statement that showed her agreement with Alex’s statement. If one didn't have more to add in the presence of the powerful, remain silent or speak as to be polite only. Her mother had told her that when she was young and had a smart mouth and less sense.

As she stood watching the two women, she could tell that they took just as measured steps as she did. Careful not to say too much or too little. She liked them already. When compared to the majority of the Sith she saw walking around Korriban and Junction in more recent months, she began to wonder if she alone would stand at the top once the old guard had been replaced. Seeing Sith knights like Alexis and Alexandra however, somewhat restored her faith.

She wasn't dumb enough to simply go off of one interaction though, but to say that she wasn't impressed would be a lie. She nodded towards the two women as one of them spoke.

The one, Alexandra, was much more outgoing and talkative it seemed. Her sister saying only what was required. A half smiled cracked her lips as she first looked at Alexandra and then Alexis. She could see much of herself in the two twins. Like someone had cut her genome in half in the womb and divided it among two separate people. Which, she assumed, would probably make this even easier for her.

Both of you come from a rich pedigree of Force sensitives am I correct? That's good. But it won't be enough. You must truly understand the dark side to be a Sith. Actions like honesty and humility will get you no where here. Actions like treachery and deceit and back stabbing will ensure that you progress quickly, most particularly in my eyes.

Now I already have an apprentice, but he bores me. What is it that you two recommend be done about it?
She asked, finishing her little speech. She tucked a strand of her jet black hair behind her ear and awaited the twins reply. Based on what they said would definetly show her all she would need to know with how to proceed making sure the two new Sith knights were hers. She wanted that more than anything at the moment. To be rid of the simplistic apprentice she had taken and adopt these two new ones here today. Her eyes flickered back to one twin, and then the other, gauging how they would reply.

A cruel smile continued to grow on Alex's face, this was in fact what she wished to hear. The rumors had not been false, the new apprentice of the Dark Lord had not met her expectations. And why would he? Males were so primitive in this time line, she was confident that none would provide as much support to the new Darth as her and her sister together.

"I am sorry to hear that Lord Fond, but if he is not satisfactory, I could see no viable reason in keeping him around. Perhaps we can arrange for a mishap, for afterwards, I am certain you could find much more suitable replacements." She smiled, a gentle lick to her lips as he continued to look at Serie Fond with a sparkle of obedience laced with tenacity.

Alexis narrowed her eyes as Serie spoke, her quick mind whirring at the possibilities. Word traveled fast, and she should have known that inquisitive and talented newcomers might invite the patronage of the powerful, but this was all manner of rewards. She welcomed the chance for her and Alex to exercise their skills and secure their place here for a time; that being said, the only way for the strong to survive and not fall victim to treachery in turn was utility and artifice and between the two of their efforts’ combined, their sum greater than the constituent parts, they made a bastion of aggression and cunning that was unbreakable.

She spoke after a moment, considering her words.

"What is it you desire, my Lady? Fear? Their maiming? A spectacular show of power or a complete and silent erasure?” She smiled and as she looked on the Sith who might instruct her she felt a rare moment of glee, raising her hand to cover her mouth politely.

“We will succeed at whatever you wish.”

Serie smiled at their response. Careful and measured just like she was. Her smile stretched into a full one and she tilted her head slightly to the side.

Yes. She said softly, almost like a hushed whisper. I think you both understand the dark side very well. She said walking closer to the girls. Teaching inside her cloak she pulled out two holo projectorss she had special ordered a few weeks ago online. I think a good old rousing round of his complete and utter humiliation would suffice. Take these. She said handing each of the women a comlink before continuing.

I'll contact you on these once things are in order. With that out of the way, auf wiedersehen. She said, then turning on her heels she made her way back out of the dimly lit room. She had to get things ready, of course, and she really wasn't feeling patient today.
