Turning his gaze from the bodies and looking up at the intercom, listening to Ryak, Avreet waited for him to finish before making his way out of the bridge. The Sith Master didn't forget to tell Avreet to bring the prisoner, making the teenage Acolyte shiver with fear. He had no prisoner to deliver, which would displease the STARS leader, no doubt about that. The Mon Calamari checked the ship's systems were running fine and turned around to leave and go to the airlock. From what he read on the screen, another ship had docked. Must have been the Imperials who came to take the ship.

On his way, he witnessed many dead bodies and a few destroyed droids. All of them had lightsaber wounds, indicating the other Acolytes went through there and dealt with anyone standing in their way. The sigh made Avreet regret not taking his lightsaber. With the weapon, he would have stopped the prisoner from escaping. Too late to cry over the spilled milk though, he had to face the consequences. Meeting a squad of armed Imperial soldiers on his way, who luckily realized the boy was a Sith, he turned around a corner and finally saw the airlock. Hopefully the air would be more breathable than the one inside the ship, which smelled of burned flesh.

The Sith Master waited for them, immediately seeing Avreet was not accompanied by the prisoner. "Master De'ruus, I apologize, the pilot had escaped," the Acolyte said, staring at the leader. Whatever was going to happen to him now, it wasn't going to be pleasant. He could only hope it wouldn't last too long, despite pain being his ally. Force lightning was not just painful, it meant receiving the dark side from the caster, twisting the receiver.

Xotomi wished her discovery hadn't been mangled by the Master. It would have been great to step off ship in a Walker! There is so much damage she could do with it! But Vixor's prize was better, not just that the robots were operational, but would probably be reprogrammed for sabotage or annihilation, or something cool. All Xotomi's Walker did was devastate their own ship! 'You lucky bastard,' she brooded with lips pursed together.

She marveled at the terrible state the blaster fire caused the ship's metal interior. She escaped all those rounds without so much as a scratch?! It is proof that the Force serves her well! Her mind drifted back to a good reason she didn't want to die which involved a wicked plan to destroy her sadistic Master. She smiled. It's just so wonderful when life finally has a recognizable direction!

She skipped away through the corridors, seeking out anything else that could be remarkable. The people she let live were actually of no interest to them. That was proven when she saw the Stormtroopers kill her dazed survivors. Xotomi preferred her prisoners. There is so much servitude she could force them into. And some can bring in a good deal of not only credits but a great exchange. It seemed like such a loss! The GA valued people so much. No problem though. Maybe next time.

Xotomi skipped off to the Airlock once she heard the order.

Vixur nodded, the security droids would be undoubtedly an asset to STARS and their operation, though there were many more in the storage room. Vixur only programed what he could in the time he had, he was sure they would miss a couple to Vixur's own personal endeavors. He would program the ones he had to board the disguised Sith ship, then return to the storage facility and do the same with the rest. One by one the droids marched off the ship and on towards the airlock, all but two which remained with Vixur. A small token, a prize for their victory, he saw nothing wrong with it.

Heeding Ryak's orders, he proceeded to the airlock himself, meeting up with the others. Their mission was nearly complete, the final step lying in returning home. What opposition faced them now was the escaped pilot, though he was sure that he would not be able to get back in time to alert anyone. They would be long gone. Though still upset they could let this happen, it was Avreet who was ordered to control the prisoner. However, considering Avreets prowess and skills, he was certain that this pilot did not lack in creativity to escape the clutched of the Sith. And still he would be no thorn in their sides, not yet at least.

Ryak saw the Mon Cal acolyte and immediately noticed there was no prisoner. He ignored the acolyte's apology. He was going to punish the acolyte for his failure but wanted to wait for the other two to arrive so he could make an example out of him. It wasn't long before the other acolytes arrived; and the minute that the Anzat arrived the Mon Cal got a painful surprise. Without warning Ryak thrust out his right hand. The green strands of Odojinya shot from his fingers and wrapped themselves around the unfortunate acolyte. The acolyte's connection to the Force would be severed temporarily and he would be unable to move.

"You were given one simple task and that was to watch the prisoner." Ryak sent of stream of red lightning into the acolytes body. It was enough to be extremely painful but do no damage beyond that. "As a result of your failure the pilot got away and we failed part of our mission." Ryak sent another burst of lighting into the acolyte. "If you fail again you will be ejected from STARS, so I suggest you learn carefully from your mistake." Ryak sent a final burst of lightning toward the acolyte. Satisfied the acolyte had learned his lesson Ryak released him and then turned and left the gunship for the waiting ship attached to the airlock. He expected the acolytes to follow as they would be heading back to STARS headquarters.

After a few minutes of painless waiting for the other Acolytes came a painful lesson and a reminder of what happens to those who fail in their task under Master De'ruus. Avreet had no chance of resisting, as Ryak's first spell rendered him unable to move and what was worse, severed his connection to the Force. That had to be the worst punishment possible for someone being born with the Force and living with it for their whole life. Up until now, Avreet did not realize how it felt to be without the Force, as he had no means to try it. The Force was a vital and inseparable part of him, something his very existence depended on, as a Sith without the Force had only one name, useless.

As the Force abandoned him, he suddenly felt nothing and the whole galaxy became silent. He didn't feel the signature of his fellow Acolytes, not even the powerful presence of Master De'ruus. He didn't feel the death happening across the Alliance ship, he didn't feel the mystical energy running through his veins and giving him strength. And worst of all, he could not feel his Master. Avreet felt so very empty and vulnerable, a feeling only a Force sensitive stripped of their Force sensitivity could experience. At least the same spell that took away his Force sensitivity held him standing, as he would have collapsed otherwise. Was this how the non-Force sensitives felt?

The red lightning was very painful, but Avreet kind of ignored the first two bursts. While it hurt more than anything he had experienced before, the lost connection to the Force shocked him so much he couldn't even scream when Ryak's power coursed through his body. It was during the third burst when he cried out in pain, and when Ryak finally released him from his shackles, the teenager collapsed to the cold metal floor, gasping and doing his best not to cry. The Force had mercy on him though, and it returned to his body and helped him to transform the incredible pain into power. It made him stronger.

After about a minute, he gladly accepted the feeling he could feel everything again, and got up. He'd learned a valuable lesson today, and more importantly, he experienced what it is like to be without the Force and made him appreciate the gift more than ever before. He'd never again take it for granted. Following the Acolytes through the airlock to the ship that awaited them. There, he slumped into a seat and closed his eyes, trying to calm down his body still shaking due to stress and pain. His mind would also need a nice and long meditation, but that could come later.

OOC: And that's it, guys! My final post in this thread! Even though it lasted more than necessary (5 months, uh!), I really enjoyed it. Thank you for this roleplay! :)
