The princess of Eiattu made her way to the Senate pod that she had been loaned to make her speech. It had been an interesting few weeks for her. Having grown used to Sith occupation of her world, she had been most surprised when a strike team consisting of Pyke thugs, killer droids, and even a Mandalorian had busted into the palace where she was being held by Darth Asminys' forces to rescue her. Of course, she'd had to do a little rescuing herself with a holdout blaster she'd managed to smuggle in so, all told, the rescue was hardly perfect but she really couldn't complain too much about it. She, like the Sith, had first assumed that her rescuers were Pykes due to the uniforms they wore and the large presence of Pyke aliens in the strike team.

But once she'd been rescued, it'd been clear to her that the Pykes weren't behind this at all. Indeed, a Jedi Master, of all people, had put the operation together and it very much seemed that he didn't want his involvement known to the galaxy. Better to let the Sith think the Pykes did this to spite them and let the two forces continue to battle it out against each other, he'd said. So, after escorting her safely to the capital, the Jedi had vanished and it was now up to her to figure out how to best help her people.

"People of the galaxy, you may not recognize my face as it has been kept hidden from you for years by the Sith Empire. The Sith invaded my home, they took control, and they continue to ravage and bully Eiattu's population for their own gain and amusement." she started to speak, shakily at first. But she found her resolve and her next sentence rang out strongly across the Senatorial chamber. Of course, with such a newsworthy figure, the broadcast would be available on all public access HoloNet channels to anyone who wished to tune in.

"The occupation of my homeworld is unjust and it needs to end. Now. Every day, you delay is another day that the Sith forces under the command of Darth Asminys are allowed to exploit my people. To the people of Eiattu, I urge you all to stay safe and to protect the resistance fighters that remain onworld. Not all resistance is violent - boycotts, misinformation, strikes - anything that can be done to thwart the Sith occupiers will help us rid the planet of them for good. I am with you in your fight and will do everything in my power to ensure you have support."

"To the New Republic, the Free Worlds Alliance and the ISC - silence speaks louder than words. Your actions or inaction will be considered heavily when Eiattu is free again and able to decide who we wish to trade with or rally behind in the future. Any support you can give to my world will be returned tenfold when yours may be the next one to fall to the Sith. Of that, you can count on."

"To the Jedi Order, you claim you are staunchly opposed to the Sith. I urge you to prove it with actions. Seek me out and I shall assist in any way I can."

"And lastly, to the Sith - you are weak. You thought you could keep me under lock and key and yet with all your might, here I stand. Come get me."
she finished, sitting down and breathing heavily as the applause in the Senate chamber washed over her on the way down.
