As the Audacious-class Corvette ISS Persecutor reverted to real space within the Ansion system Vritoria found herself looking out the view ports of the bridge and onto the lush, green world of Ansion. A single thought came creeping into the foreground of her mind, that she could see herself in charge of a vessel of this type. But alas, the Navy didn't just give out Corvettes to anyone who asked for command of one, instead however, they had begrudgingly accepted that they would act as little more than a taxi service for a while while Vritoria and her new, temporary, companion Pierre, were out on a mission which would benefit the Imperial Republica as a whole while pushing the treasonous 'Old Empire' further towards the brink of annihilation. While this wasn't going to be a decisive blow to the scale of retaking one of the many occupied worlds the 'Old Empire' held, it'd be a cut along their side, a constant thorn pressing into their exposed backs while the true Empire would grow because of it.
When the commander of the ship came up on deck she turned her attention towards him with a raised brow. "Your shuttle is ready for take off, we have orders not to go any further into the Ansion system than where we are now. We'll return to Coruscant once your duties here are done." "Good, I suspect I can't convince you to take us any closer?" "Afraid not, Ma'am, this is as close we'll go."
With a stiff nod she cast one final glance out towards Ansion and then turned back to the Commander as she passed him. She now had her goals in mind, she wanted not only one, but a fleet of Corvettes and Frigates under her command, and this, this would be the first step towards that goal. Exiting the bridge she headed down the hallways until she reached the hangar which held the Vector-class shuttle they'd be riding towards their destination. Seeing her companion here she wondered if he had ever left the hangar in the first place. Stopping beside him she glanced up at the shuttle while standing to his right. "I hope your skill with lightsabers translate well into words, Acolyte. I'd prefer it if we didn't have to run away from anything in a shuttle."
She spoke as the last of the four troopers they were sent along with boarded the shuttle, followed by the Pilot and co-pilot. "Shall we?" Vritoria asked and extended her hand. "After you."
