Prologue

The hidden temple on Anoth, what a day has served as base for the Jedi survivors, is currently in ruins. The Empress and her legions attacked the site in order to weaken, or even extinguish, the enemies of the Imperium. Fortunately, some of the residents members of the temple managed to escape, but the building was destroyed. Kol Saga, former padawan of the exiled New Jedi Order and former Imperial Marshall of the almost extinct Imperial Knights, had isolated himself since the fall of Coruscant in 1,012 ABY. After 11 years of exile, Saga decided to return to the fight against the tyranny of the false empress and her dark empire. For this, Kol is on a hunt to find clues that say where the Jedi remnants are hiding and he believes find some of them in the Anoth ruins. Unluckily, what's left of the building is being guarded by imperial troops, assigned of not allow anyone enter the ruins. To give support for him, Kol hired a group of mercenaries, called the Gundark Gang, to help him in this mission. Things are about to get hot in this cold planet.

Plot

The deeper the light freighter entered the planetary orbit more the blizzard seemed to get worse. "This fraking snowstorm will freeze my entire ship!" shouted Bangel nervously. "With us inside!" completed Bangel's copilot, Soppak Broko. The "Glee Ascension" was a good starship, just was not prepared for such situations. "I hope that the Jedi artifacts that you promised me are worth as much as say." said the nautolan with a concerned tone. "They worth more than any amount of credit you can imagine." answered Kol standing just behind the pilots seats. The Kel Dor are wearing his traditional imperial knight armor, something that he dont put in his body a long time ago, covered by a thick fur robe that will serve as protection from the cold. In his belt is hanging his old silver lightsaber and a XM1020 Heavy Pistol, a type of weapon that he will use in case things get very chaotic. "If the coordinates that you passed to us are correct, we will arrive at the hidden temple in a few minutes." commented Soppak. "Pak and I will deal with the things here, you can go to the main hold with the others and relax until we get there." said Bangel to Kol, with a humored tone. "I am grateful for your invitation, but I need to stay in focus.". Kol give a brief pause while looking out by the cockpit window, where he could only see a dense curtain of snow generated by the blizzard, and continues: "I can feel the imperials presence in this planet... Things can get ugly down there.". "Things WILL get ugly down there. We are invading a imperial forbidden zone, with a imperial knight with us!" said Soppak with a terrified tone. "I agree with Pak, the chances of getting caught are great and I think that the sith will not be so generous with our punishment... mainly because we are helping a fugitive of the Imperium to find the Jedi." After saying this, Bangel looked at Soppak with a expression of amazed, looking like he had just had the perfect idea. "Don't worry, Bangel. I will protect you and your crew with my life." said Saga with a seriously tone. "Well, that's better." responded the nautolan with a little sarcasm. The "Glee Ascension" advanced painfully against the snowstorm while the Gundark Gang are preparing themselves for the operation. Kol's objective are simple: enter in the temple, find some clues and exit. But something inside his head was saying that things would be much more complex. He was aware of the danger that awaited him and the mercenaries that him had engaged. However, he could not go back anymore. It was all or nothing.

The "Glee Ascension" landed at a safe distance from the ruins. In the main hold, Kol and some members of the Gundark Gang were assembled to discuss the mission. Nagodi Lopar, a rodian mercenary, returned from his observation with information about the location. "At the main entrance, I could count twenty snowtroopers and four AT-ST/a. All the alternative entries are also guarded with some guards, gun turrets and explosive traps." said Nagodi while removing the snow from his armor. "This is crazy! This is suicide!" exclaimed Gimoh outraged by the situation. "You can not be really wanting to invade that place!" continued the gran. "Relax Gim! We already invaded imperial properties before and we escape from there unscathed and full of money." said Vallac in a calm and cold tone. "Were just warehouses! This is a fraking jedi temple!". "The ruins of a Jedi temple..." corrected Nagodi. "Whatever! We gonna die if we try to enter that place!". The mercenaries continued their discussion while Kol remained silent, forming a plan that placed them inside of the ruins. They were outnumbered, but with the element of surprise on their side. Also, Kol could not allow any casualties in his group, a man less could be fatal for the operation, but he was aware that it would be impossible. He was a Imperial Marshall, he knew the training that the stormtroopers had passed and he also knew that under the command of a skilled superior, these white armored men are a deadly enemies.

Kol advance two steps forward, an action more than necessary to do all that discussion stop. All the mercenaries in the hold turned their attention to him, waiting his speech. With a serious and focused tone, the Kel Dor Knight said: "Be strong, gentlemen. I know that fear can weigh in your hearts now, but you can not let it dominate your thoughts.". "That Jedi speech..." growled Tulga, a weequay mercenary. "They outnumber us, but we have the element of surprise.". Bangel gets up from the chair and ask with a sarcastic tone: "I'm curious, Imperial Knight. What you have in mind?". "Yeah, tell us your brilliant plan to make us go through four AT-ST/a and twenty fraking stormtroopers!" spoke Gimoh with a wrathful tone. "Its very simple. I will use my telekinetic abilities to drop some explosives in the AT-STs. The stormtroopers will be bewildered and with the snowstorm covering us, they will be easy prey.". The mercenaries exchange glances, some with positive expressions and others clearly rejecting the idea. After a few minutes of silence, Bangel says to his fellow partners: "Let's vote! Who accepts following the Knight's plan, please, raise your hand!" Nagodi, Vallac, Tulga and Wong raised their hands. "Well, we have a winner!" concluded Bangel. The Gundark Gang quickly begins to organize themselves. On the outside, Kol tries to observe the entrance of the temple's ruins, but with the strong snowstorm, he only can see the lights of the AT-ST/a headlights, stormtrooper's flashlights and the lamps of the imperial camp which was built in front of the temple's main entrance.

Samara could feel the wind in her hair as the Sorosubb Star Yacht soured across. The reconstruction efforts of her people with the others on the world opened up many opportunistic and the New Jedi Order was able to work against the New Sith Imperium. It was a good thing to protect the people while she was pushing herself with the small amount of force power she had learned and practiced to use. Her speed increasing before she was moving towards the place where the scents and sounds could be seen.

Samara touched the ground as her feet made small impressions. Not many saw the Star Yacht, it even got some looks from people. She turned her head back forward and was heading towards the temple, filled with the feeling of bitter ice and snow.
