Axiom is a ship of forgotten origins. Out of date and clunky it has spent its life time dying and being brought back to life. In it's most recent incarnation it is an ugly patchwork monster, stolen from a murdered spacer by Daniel Hax, and later stolen from him by Dirk Reiden, the current owner. The ship is a Collage of function, with old and new mashed together. While the skeleton of the ship has remained in repair, currently durasteel, and it still has it Model ID plate, various other places of the ship have deteriorated and the result is noticeable. The hull is made of several pieces of salvaged Titanium plates that have rusted some, giving it a dull earthen tone made of grays, and red-browns.
Previous owners have added, upgraded, or barely kept in repair several systems on the ship including a standard navigational suite, Twin Light Laser cannons, communications and sensory arrays, Reactors and Generators, Smuggling compartments and places to hold spare parts. Although all these modifications fit, the corridors and living spaces are filled with wiring, and missing access panels,
With a top speed of barely 62MGLT, a Class 4 Hyperdrive built out of junk, and a maximum capacity of 8 occupants, and a medium/small cargo hold that can carry up to 80 metric tons, this vessel is suitable for getting from point A to point B. However; because of it's Moderate to Low maneuverability and speed capabilities fighting in this vessel is not recommended for the inexperienced pilot.
