[fancybox2]The Sith Directorate is a plot element for backstories for multiple characters created by me, and an attempt to weave other characters together; if anyone is interested in having their character involved somehow or connected, let me know. It serves as a major element of the Misfits Storyline, cannibalizing parts of The Cabal. I wanted to introduce a side to the Sith faction that hadn't really been explored to much, a legacy from my enjoyment with Geist Weiss' Project SALIGIA last timeline. Any and all superweapons used by the Sith Directorate will be approved through other admins. Bith Supercomputer element approved by Sith faction leader. Not sure if acceptable for Lore, but thought I'd put it here just in case.

[fancybox2]The Sith Directorate[/fancybox2]
The Sith Directorate is a science and development initiative that was founded over a century ago, before the ruin of the original Sith Empire and rise of the Brotherhood. Centered around no single project, it is a collective of projects, experiments, and initiatives, all seeking to improve the Sith's power militarily and politically. The Sith Directorate was feared for its management and development of superweapons and experimental weapons. Once a stable in the original Sith Empire, the collapse of the Sith Empire also saw to the devastation of the Sith Directorate. The loss of its leadership, known collectively as the Sin Lords, led to mismanagement and fall from grace, left in the hands of the Dawn Herald of the Sabas Hive. The Sith Directorate saw inactivity until an operative known as The Dowager, who had infiltrated Czerka Corporation in order to continue the Directorate's projects through the corporation, founded the Czerka Special Division CZ-7. The special division eventually evolved into The Cabal, rooting itself back into the galactic stage, manipulating the galaxy through espionage, religious indoctrination, military expansion, and scientific advancement over the course of the last three decades. When Durak, Szak, and Mandalorian mercenaries broke Darth Andredd out of jail, Darth Andredd cemented himself into the Sith Directorate's leadership once more, merging the scattered remnants of Sith Directorate with its evolved Cabal, restoring the Sith Directorate to a recognizable state. Lacking in resources it once had, Darth Andredd's Sith Directorate seeks out the unfinished projects left behind and bring forth a new state of galactic terror.

[fancybox2]Personnel[/fancybox2]
The Sin Lords
The Sin Lords are a collective of seven individuals who once ruled the Sith Directorate in its prime, and were feared adversaries of both Jedi and Republic alike, viewed as the Sith's machinators of fear and terror. Leading the Directorate with an iron grip and intellectual superiority, they advanced the Sith Empire's goals, keeping the Sith and rogues under their wing in line. According to an interrogation of Galak Daggoth, the Sin Lords were primed to serve as regent in the event of the emperor's death (though never verified). However, most of the Sin Lords were captured, eliminated, or fell off the grid before the emperor was killed, and the original Sith Empire collapsed.

En En was a Bith scientist who served as the official director of the Sith Directorate and leader of the Sin Lords, a rare and unique feat due to the fact that he was not Force sensitive. However, her unrivaled intellect helped propel her to power in a society where the Force was the key to elevation. En had been part of a science taskforce involved in the restoration of an ancient interdictor, a project killed when a Sith commander named Torker Okav @Elijah Brockway) cut funding in order to maneuver resources to his war with the Jedi. En approached other Sith, who pooled their resources to create the Sith Directorate, with En at its head. En created multiple weapons during her tenure; she is best known for the development of the Bith Supercomputer. Before her death, it was rumored she had tried to digitalize her consciousness.

Darth Sidhell Darth Sidhell was the second-in-command of the Sith Directorate, and one of the Sith triumvirate En approached to form the Sith Directorate. Darth Sidhell was an aberration in original Sith Empire due to being both an arcanist and engineer, whose expertise led to the formulation of several Kyber-based cores for superweapons, including the infamous Qian Generator, a weapon in its own right. A favorite of the emperor due to his skill in logistics over military strategy, he had overseen part of the now-debunked Commerce Fleet. His managerial skills were put into use in the Sith Directorate, amassing funds and resources needed for the development and manufacturing of the Directorate's toys. After most of the Sin Lords were killed or captured, Darth Sidhell disappeared. Rumors persist Sidhell had been assassinated by his rival Vereshin and his death covered up.

Darth Kalus Darth Kalus was a powerful Sith scientist and arcanist, one of the Sith triumvirate En approached to form the Sith Directorate. The Sith Lord had been a scientist when the Sith discovered her talent with the Force, and carried her scientific background with her when she entered the world of the arcane arts. During the Sin Lords' reign of terror, Darth Kalus was the first to fall.

Darth Andredd Darth Andredd was a Sith Lord who built his niche empire around the research and development in the original Sith Empire, leading to being approached alongside Darths Sidhell and Kalus by En to form the Sith Directorate. He periodically dons the moniker Doctor Geist. Whereas Darth Sidhell brought in the resources, Darth Andredd's contacts helped bridge in the science divisions of the empire under the wing of the Sith Directorate. The most military-minded of the Sin Lords, Darth Andredd led several development projects for superweapons to be used in the war with the Republic and Jedi. Darth Andredd became the nightmarish face for the Sin Lords and the Sith Directorate in Republic propaganda, having tested several Directorate weapons in the battlefield, famous for the utter devastation that took place at the Czerka colony CZ-124. Eventually a joint operation by the Jedi and Republic led to his capture and confinement to The Torch until he was freed by the Death Watch a year ago.

Vereshin Vereshin, once known as Darth Adethys, is credited as one of the most powerful arcanist in the Sith's history, devouring legions to seek a self-reported "immortality". Feared among his brethren, his knowledge in the arcane arts was invaluably sought by the Sith Directorate for its fold, to research not just technological feats, but also master the Force and all its secrets. Carrying little for the science side of the Sith Directorate, Vereshin dominated the research in the Force. Vereshin was the first to hear rumors of an enigmatic Weapon of the Jedi and alongside Darth Andredd sought it out, to no avail. Vereshin was the last publicly seen Sin Lord for decades after the collapse of the original Sith Empire, having forsaken the Sith Directorate for other endeavors. Vereshin eventually succeeded in the rumored goal of the Sith Lords by becoming leader of the Sith Brotherhood following High Priestress Nisara's disappearance for a brief time. Rumors of Vereshin's involvement in the Cult of the Chosen One have circulated, ending when the cult was annihilated. @Marf

The Dawn Herald of Sabas Hive To say a single Dawn Herald holds the distinction of Sin Lord would be an error. It would be more accurate to say the Kilik hive Sabas is the Sin Lord itself, the Dawn Herald its avatar in the Sith Directorate. Four Dawn Heralds over the century have held he distinction of being referred to as a Sin Lord, though only one will do so at any particular time. The Sabas Hive Joined the mind of several scientists and Sith alchemists over decades, combining knowledge into the psychic coalescence. During the Sabas' time with the Sith Directorate, several more scientists and researchers were Joined to the hive, usually Republic or independent researchers, stealing research for its own. The Sabas Hive served secondarily as the manpower behind much of the superweapons' construction. Soon after the fall of the original Sith Empire, the Sabas Hive's colony was attacked and nearly annihilated. Official word by the Republic is the Sabas Hive was eradicated, though the Brotherhood knows better; a new Dawn Herald has not risen to take the title of Sin Lord.

Dr. Prasinaima Ebiara Prasinaima was the apprentice of Dominus Veteris, one of Darth Andredd's apostles. Ebiara had entered En's peripheral when she was still a doctoral student at Kryndyn University, using her research in the beginning with tame projects that wouldn't tie back to the Sith. However, after an incident with a colleague, her Force sensitivity was clued in, and En had Darth Andredd's apostle Dominus Veteris approach her, beginning her training into the Dark Side. Upon becoming a Sith, she was officially welcomed into the true face of the Sith Directorate and made among them. Her skills in psychology and biology set her apart from her peers, earning her prestige and authority into the Directorate, becoming the last individual to be recognized as a Sin Lord, and the only Sith leader not a Sith Lord. One of the last active Sin Lords, she held onto the Directorate as long as she could, managing with the help of the Lady of Crows, Tonitrus. Lacking the authority to amass resources, she infiltrated Czerka Corporation under the moniker The Dowager in order to use it for the Directorate's needs. She used Czerka's resources to help build The Cabal and later masterminded Darth Andredd's escape from The Torch with the help of Szak and Lady Tonitrus. @Crim

Lord Saruthi. Great-grandfather of Lanre Saruthi, Saruthi was a Sith operative in the Sith Directorate. @Roen

Torker Okav. A Sith warrior who fought in Darth Andredd's wars under the Sith Directorate's banner. Some historians credit Okav as the instigator of pushing En towards the path of founding the Sith Directorate when Okav cut funding to En's earlier work. No love was lost when Okav was recruited to Andredd's cause, though statistically suspicious is the fact Okav was involved in more combat than any other Sith warrior aligned with the Sith Directorate. After Darth Andredd's capture, Okav distanced himself from the Directorate and eventually moved away from war as age consumed him. @Elijah Brockway

Galak Daggoth. A renown Sith Lord, he was once a Jedi Master until converted to the Dark Side by Darth Kalus. He served in Darth Andredd's wars as a fellow warrior. Daggoth was part of the Directorate forces defeated by the Jedi and Republic that led to the death of En. He was captured and stripped of the Force by the Jedi Council. Years later he regained his Force capabilities using a ritual he carved into his Holocron. Daggoth sought out the Sabas Hive to reconnect with the Sith Directorate. The first Dawn Herald perishing not long prior, the Sabas Hive turned Daggoth into a Joiner and had him serve as the second Dawn Herald until his death. @Malon

Dominus Veteris. A Sith warrior who served as one of Darth Andredd's apostles, having some scientific background as a Togruta surgeon before his fall to the Dark Side. En and Darth Andredd used Dominus to approach and recruit Ebiara Prasinaima into the Sith. Dominus eventually challenged his rival Quidam Asinorum to a Kaggath (having been goaded by Ebiara) and came out victorious, though was killed by Ebiara later that night. @Crim

Lady Tonitrus. The Witch of Thustra and Lady of Crows. She is an ancient Sephi who is one of the longest lasting members of the Directorate's surviving echelon, aiding Prasinaima's efforts in the Sith Directorate. She aided in the capture and experimentation of several subjects, including children. One such child named Xanthier was tormented into an embodiment of the Dark Side. Seeking to learn how he'd behave outside a laboratory setting, Tontrus used her illusions to allow Xanthier to appear as though he killed Tonitrus along side the actually-dead minions. Lady Tonitrus was one of the masterminds behind the manipulation of the Bounty Hunters Guild's Grand Hunt and rescue of Darth Andredd. @Cainhurst Crow

Durak. Apprentice to Darth Andredd. Lost his memory during an accident and eventually joined the Exchange. His memory was eventually returned due to the assistance of Ebiara and Durak's apprentice, Herdessa. During the operation to free Darth Andredd, Durak was killed securing a ship and pirates on Baralou. @Richie B.

Luxina. Moff of Sriluur, she is allied with the Sith Directorate through an agreement of give-and-take. When Ques and Terman were invaded by the Brotherhood, Moff Luxina used her power to secretly break a deal with Vontor: kiirium in exchange for being left alone, an agreement she would later break on Darth Andredd's insistence. Her kiirium was sent to the Sith Directorate, used in construction of prototypes. Her schemes led to her disgrace when a Jedi named Braedon Vallen defeated Jorin Tukk and exposed her deal on Vontor, leading to the planet rising up against the Sith.

Lady Cailleach. Known as the Beautiful Deceiver, she is one of the pawns in Darth Andredd's schemes, though Cailleach has been playing her own game. She took part in Darth Andredd's operations in the Ash Worlds and Dirha. The latter saw her defeated at the hands of Lt. Skahl, disgracing her in the eyes of Darth Andredd and Uhrsek. @Swamp Witch

Torin Jukk. A Sith upstart and one of the pawns in Darth Andredd's schemes, weaving his way into serving unofficially in the Sith Directorate's machinations after becoming Moff Luxina's latest "boy-toy". As favor to his benefactor Moff Luxina, he assisted in operations in the Ash Worlds and Vontor. @soed

Lord Jissard. Father of Luca Jissard. He is a Sith Lord serving in the Brotherhood's navy, supplying the ships necessary for Darth Andredd's invasion of the Boz Pity and Klatooine sectors, his son playing a pivotal role in the Battles of Xoman Three and Boz Pity. @Enuf

Xan'w Briggs. A Sith warrior and spy who seduced Torch Warden Jaylor Briggs in order to gain access to The Torch and free Darth Andredd. She later took over Velti Base on Talay so its resources could be used by Ebiara and the Sith Directorate. Xan'w was killed during an Accord raid on Velti Base.

Szak. A Rishii sorcerer who is behind a recent project to reanimate the dead.

Seiry. The Dragon of Kashyyyk. The Transdoshan bounty hunter was hired by Darth Andredd to hunt for clues on the elusive Weapon of the Jedi. He was neutralized by the Bounty Hunters Guild before his assignment was complete.

[fancybox2]Projects[/fancybox2]
Project Overrreach Project Overreach is the longest-lasting project under the Sith Directorate's banner. More of a conglomerate of multiple experiment initiatives, its primary goal is the experimentation and improvement of the body, through alchemy and cybernetics. The Kyber-series involved implanting Kyber crystals directly into the body, an initiative started by Darth Kalus and continued after her death. Dr. Prasinaima was chiefly in charge of Project Overreach, overseeing the experimentation of several subjects, including Malak Arpha and Kyuss Thaun. Several children have become test subjects over the decades, including Xanthier, who was sent into the wild to be observed (though Xanthier believed he killed Dr. Prasinaima, her death an illusion). Recently Project Overreach has started the Neophyte-series, which created OR-10N.

Darth Steel Darth Steel is a robotics initiative using data of lightsaber combat spanning decades. The data feeds into an algorithim written by En herself designed to result in the Darth Steel robots improving in lightsaber combat, to see a move coming before it can be swung. Darth Steels have periodically cropped up in battlefields, though due to being perfected they have not been mass-produced; rumors of several Sith Lords blocking manufacturing have arisen.

Qian Generator Qian Generator was never intended to serve as a superweapon, but has gained the reputation as one. One of the earliest generators incorporating Kyber cells as a power source, it had been envisioned to power future weapons. However, Darth Sidhell's first attempt of a Kyber-using generator proved unstable. Upon activation the core would overload and eventually explode, the range similar to a nuclear blast (though lacking in lethal radiation). Several projects since then have incorporated an unused Qian Generator to serve as a failsafe to destroy the weapon.

Magnetar-5 The Magnetar-5 was a Star Destroyer fitted with a powerful long-distance turbolaser, used in several campaigns before it was destroyed.

Ouroboros Ouroboros was an ambitious plan concocted by Darth Sidhell and Dr. Ruick. A monolithic ring would be built in a major trade hyperlane and the ring would erect an energy barrier, disintegrating ships passing in hyperspace. The barrier emission was created, but Ouroboros was never completed due to the power core never finished before Darth Sidhell vanished.

Bith Supercomputer The Bith Supercomputer is one of the Sith Empire's little secrets. Created by En herself, it played a hidden role in the conquests of Coruscant. The Bith Supercomputer was the most advanced computational device of its time, and was used to propagate simulations for experiments and battle plans. However, it was hugely successful in calculating new hyperlanes. The Maridun-Coruscant hyperlane was a major breakthrough during the pre-Brotherhood war, used by the Emperor to attack Coruscant directly. During the brief occupation of Coruscant, a second hyperlane was calculated between Coruscant and Akuria. When the Sith Empire was forced to flee Coruscant, they secretly used the Coruscant-Akuria to escape, leading to the legend that the Sith disappeared without a trace. A century later the Bith Supercomputer's lanes would lead to Darth Sigrún courting Mandalorian Space (which the Maridun-Coruscant lane ran through) and the invasions of grids M-5 and M-6. When En died, the location of the Bith Supercomputer disappeared with her.

Church of Nirvanism Founded on Cyrillia, the Church of Nirvanism was created by Ebiara Prasinaima (going by the alias The Dowager) as a means of spreading influence and obtaining Force users, both for recruitment and experimentation. It also serves as a major source of income of the Sith Directorate when operating under the name Cabal, through "donations to the church" and affiliated 'charitable' organizations, all tax-free. Led by a religious leader called the Omniarch, Nirvanism is a religion focused on the Force. It believes not in the Cosmic Force or the Living Force, but the Balanced Force, believing that the universe is comprised of balances, that everything has an opposite. Whereas the Jedi view the light side as balance, Nirvanism instead interprets the Light Side as harmony and stagnation, that the Force is comprised of and in fact requires a balance between the Light Side and the Dark Side. This has led to a few fanatics into attacking Sith and Jedi, easily disowned by the Church for political reasons. Force users are exalted in Nirvanism, with the religion accepting the practice of both Dark Side and Light Side (though teaches that while one must seek balance, one cannot embody both sides equally at the same time). An offshoot known as the Cult of the Chosen One broke off from Nirvanism though its leader known as The Prophet and most of its members were eliminated during the Bounty Hunters Guild's Grand Hunt.

Murderizinator The Murderizinator was the first weapon created by the Sith Directorate (and last to be allowed to be named by Darth Kalus). An inelegant Star Destroyer, it was equipped with dozens of turbolasers, raining death upon its enemies. It was involved in a successful operation against a Republic garrison, though several flaws were detected, among them the ship's tendency to drop shields in order to power all the guns. This prototypic Star Destroyer would eventually become the model in which the Empyreal-class Star Destroyer would be based on.

[fancybox2]Assets[/fancybox2]
The Church of Nirvanism has a temple on Cyrillia. Underneath the temple is Dr. Prasinaima's lab codenamed Necrohol, which came into operation during the Cabal years. The Sith Directorate has facilities and bases scattered across the galaxy in undisclosed locations, including Kesh and Felucia. Mining operations have been done at Cyrillia, Jabiim, and Vontor, the latter of which discontinued after the planetary revolution.

Over a century ago, during the final throes of the original Sith Empire's war with the Republic and Jedi (henceforth in this write-up referred to as Imperial War, though not official name), a Bith scientist named En, hailed as the "Givin of the Bith", was working on a project to restore an ancient Interdictor, a mysterious relic uncovered by the empire decades later. However, slow progress led to a Sith commander named Torker Okav cutting funding to the project, in order to fund his personal war with the Jedi. The Ancient Interdictor was left to ruin, and En was out of the job. However, En felt that the empire desperately needed new and powerful weapons, weapons that could win the war. Seeking unconventional sources, En approached a trio of Sith Lords with ties to the R&D world: Darth Sidhell, Darth Kalus, and Darth Andredd. En proposed an initiative to develop future weapons of war. The Sith triumvirate agreed to En's proposal, and the Sith Directorate was birthed.

The Sith Directorate immediately sought out resources and brilliant personnel. Darth Sidhell pooled resources from the Commerce Fleet to fulfill this ambitious plan, and Darth Andredd brought the military backing needed to test weapons, recruiting powerful warriors such as Kip Koom and Galak Daggoth. Though En and the Sith triumvirate were hopeful, their peers were not, Vereshin among the vocal dissidents who believed the Sith Directorate a waste of talent and time. In order to prove to the emperor and the Sith Lords the validity of the Sith Directorate, work began immediately on a prototype Star Destroyer. The Star Destroyer, which was named Murderizinator by Darth Kalus (who subsequently lost naming rights), was built at the Gyndine Shipyards where the Ancient Interdictor had once been operated on, En reusing the now abandoned berth from Interdictor project. The Murderizinator was completed over the course of half a year, and during the time of its unveiling it would be classified as a superweapon (a classification it has since lost, with the technological advancement in the last century).

The Murderizinator would be commanded by Darth Andredd and Lord Saruthi in its first operation. The Czerka colony CZ-124 had been a major manufacturing site for tanks and walkers for the Republic at the time. To introduce the Sith Directorate to the galaxy in a major way, the Murderizinator flew to CZ-124 and annihilated the colony, leaving no survivors. The only testament to the attack were recordings purposely left by the Sith. Darth Andredd would soon later take credit for the attack live on the HoloNet, cementing him as the nightmarish face of the Sith Directorate.

The success at CZ-124 and Darth Kalus' new initiative to bring the arcane arts led to Vereshin's seduction into the Sith Directorate, leading the birth of several research attempts into alchemy and rituals. Vereshin's switch to favoring the Sith Directorate derailed some of the early detractors. New passion in R&D and a feverent desire to crush the Jedi and Republic with new and improve weapons led to the development of several other superweapons, many headed by the Sith triumvirate and En. However, an obstacle became apparent. Conventional power sources were inadequate to power the ambitious projects of the Sith Directorate, and the ancient Kyber power cores' designs lost to time. As such, Darth Sidhell and Dominus Veteris oversaw the development of a new power core fueled by Kyber crystals. The generator would become known as the Qian Generator. However, the original Qian Generator proved unstable and overloaded, destroying the entire facility, killing several personnel. Galak Daggoth saw the potential in the Qian Generators and proposed weaponizing them. As Darth Sidhell perfected the Kyber power core, the Qian Generators became weapons in their own rights, used in several of Galak Daggoth and Kip Koom's campaigns to destroy enemy encampments.

Eventually the first successful Kyber core was created and implanted in the long-distance heavily-modified powerful turbolasers of a Zenith-class Star Destroyer created by Gyndine Shipyards called Magnetar-5. Captained by Galak Daggoth, it would join the war effort in the Imperial War.

Vereshin and Darth Kalus' strides in alchemization of beasts and men inspired En to instigate Project Overreach, to create the ultimate soldier. Several individuals were scouted for this ambitious plan and among them was Ebiara Prasinaima. Dominus Veteris recruited Ebiara into the Sith Directorate. Training her as Sith, she became scientist and Dark practitioner. However, the successes of Veteris and Ebiara were not favored by all Sith, among them Quidam Asinorum. Asinorum had taken over as the major dissident against the Sith Directorate, believing the group was being given too much power and leeway by the emperor. He attempted to drag Ebiara's reputation through the mud by having his son fight Dominus' new apprentice Ebiara in a duel. Ebiara would eventually strike back and goad her master into declaring a Kaggath against Asinorum. During the Kaggath, Darth Andredd, as Dominus' master, was brought in. In a show of force, Darth Andredd assaulted Asinorum's powerbase using the Murderizinator and Magnetar-5. Asinorum and his son were slain by Dominus and Ebiara. Later that night, Ebiara slew her master, obtaining prestige for herself. The Kaggath and Ebiara's elevation showed the true might of the Sith Directorate. Several Sith began singing a different tune, including Torker Okav, who joined Darth Andredd's war. En left Project Overreach in Ebiara's hands while she returned to her life's work.

Coruscant was the ultimate goal for the Imperial War, and the road was slow-moving. However, things changed when En finished her life's work, a side project she had been working on for decades: the Bith Supercomputer. Capable of insurmountable calculation and simulation, the Bith Supercomputer was the most advanced computational device of its time. In the first year it was operating it was used to calculate algorithims for the Darth Steels, a robotics initiative sought to be adversarial to the Jedi. However, being of Commerce Fleet, Darth Sidhell proposed the Bith Supercomputer be used to calculate new hyperlanes, to improve trade and resource delivery for both the Commerce Fleet and the empire's navy. The first successful new hyperlane connected Raxus to Balfour. From there half a dozen new hyperlanes were formed. The most important one was one connecting Maridun to Coruscant. Seeing the opportunity, the Sith Empire used the Maridun-Coruscant to attack the major Republic trade world, the Sith Directorate using its weapons near Geonosis to distract the Republic from its real intentions. The Sith empire eventually conquered Coruscant for a time, during the occupation a secondary route was calculated, from Coruscant to Akuria, eventually used as an escape route when the Republic reclaimed Coruscant.

Though the Coruscant-Akuria route managed to keep a secret, legends portraying the Sith escape as scattering into the wind, the Republic learned of Coruscant-Maridun route after Jedi Knight Preata Dheenku successfully led a strike on the Sith Directorate's Gyndine shipyard, stealing a navicomputer that had the Maridun-Coruscant algorithim. The Battle of Gyndine also saw the devastation of much of the Sith Directorate's manual labor, many slaves and DUM droids employed there. Darth Sidhell pooled additional slaves from the Zygerrians, but sought alternate sources. Darth Sidhell's search eventually brought him to Ylesia, where he became allies with the Kilik hive Sabas. The Sabas hive had infested Ylesia, seeking out new people to Join them. Darth Sidhell proposed the Sabas Hive join the Sith Directorate, its hive serving as a workforce and being allowed to Join legions of slaves and scientists. The Sabas Hive's Dawn Herald agreed to the terms, and a dark alliance was born. Immediately the Sabas Hive began construction of the prototypic Ouroboros.

Over the course of the next decade, the Sith Directorate assisted in the Imperial War with its weapons and modified soldiers, providing new hyperlanes to strike unexpectedly. The seven leaders of the Sith Directorate became known as the Sin Lords, and became one of the faces of tyranny and dread in Republic propaganda. However, not all operations were successful. During Galak Daggoth's hunt of Gladys Keane (@Green Ranger), seeking to attack the educational foundation of the Jedi Order, the Sith Lord was captured by Orys Creel (@Rom) and his connection to the Force was stripped from him. However, during his hunt he had come across a rumor about a legend over a Weapon of the Jedi, something rumored to be capable of turning Dark Side users into Light Side practitioners. En had Darth Andredd send Kip Koom to investigate these rumors by attacking the enclave of T'ra Bnar. Koom slew the Jedi battlemaster Rowana Froud and stole Bnar's Holocrons, which gave further indications to the existence of the Weapon of the Jedi.

As Darth Andredd hunted for the Weapon of the Jedi and Darth Sidhell aided the Imperial War, the Jedi began a hunt of their own, targeting Darth Kalus. Eventually Kalus was killed in combat, the first of the Sin Lords to fall.

En's swift move to seek out a rumored Jedi weapon gave the Republic and Jedi an idea. The Sith Directorate didn't just create weapons, they sought them out as well. Dozens of reports of Republic and Czerka facilities ransacked littered the footnotes of history, but a connection had never been put together until then. As such, the Republic and Jedi set up a daring plan. They leaked rumors of a supposed Republic superweapon capable of destroying entire planets being developed on Trevura. Frantic to either steal or destroy this weapon, En amassed took the Magnetar-5 and a couple War Leviathans to seek out the fabled weapon. The Directorate fleet was welcomed by a Republic fleet led by Mandalorian veteran General Danout Kyramud. Realizing the trap too late, the Directorate was forced into a fight it was not prepared for. The bloodied Battle of Trevura saw the destruction of the Magnetar-5, En still on board.

En's death was felt through the Sith Directorate. Seeing his chance to grab power, Vereshin took helm of several Directorate garrisons, claiming En's successor. Darth Sidhell disappeared around this time, leading to suspicions that Vereshin had Sidhell killed. The fracturing of the Sith Directorate saw several scientists flee from Sith Space, some joining what would eventually become known as the Holy Collective Initiative (which later became part of the Accord).

Smelling blood, the Republic and several Jedi attacked Sith Directorate facilities where they could find them. The Dawn Herald, Darth Andredd, and Ebiara Prasinaima called for a conclave on Ord Trasi, for the Sith Directorate's main forces to congregate at the shipyard world to make a final stand against the Jedi and Republic incursion. As several of the Sith Directorate began the sojourn toward Ord Trasi, Sith Lord Kip Koom, who had been operating under the alias Killric Navaro, received a message from Rowana Froud's Padawan, Dewbacca. Believing the Padawan powerful enough to fight him and avenge his master, Kip Koom gave Dewbacca coordinates to Gwori, a planet near Ord Trasi. Dewbacca fought Kip Koom, eventually beating the Sith Lord. However, rather than killing Kip Koom, Dewbacca attempted to redeem Kip Koom. Dewbacca sought to convince Koom that there was more to passion and combat, citing his own master having not been just a battlemaster, but also a historian. Eventually Koom was swayed to the Light Side. As part of his redemption, Koom informed the Jedi Council of the impending Sith Directorate coalescence at Ord Trasi.

The Jedi and Republic amassed a fleet to once again strike back against the Sith Directorate, led by General Kyramud and Jedi Knight Dewbacca. The fleet waited for its moment, Kip Koom revealing when Darth Andredd's fleet was occupied in combat in another sector. The Kyramud Fleet arrived at Ord Trasi to find itself up against a misfit fleet of superweapons and Kilik ships. The Battle of Ord Trasi lasted a week, seeing the destruction of several superweapons and devastation to one of Ord Trasi's continents. The Sith Directorate had the upperhand at first until Dewbacca and Kip Koom infiltrated Lord Saruthi's flagship and slew the Sith Lord occupant, using the flagship's superweapon to knock out several Directorate assets. Eventually the battle turned to the Directorate's disfavor and a bloodbath ensued. The Sabas Hive was believed to have been eradicated during the Battle of Ord Trasi, the Dawn Herald killed by Jedi T'ra Bnar. Reinforcements that would have tipped the tide and defeated the Kyramud Fleet never arrived, as Vereshin forsake the Sith Directorate and Darth Andredd occupied fighting the Queen-Mother and General Veren at the Hapes Cluster. Most of the Sith Directorate in flames, Ebiara Prasinaima fled the battle aboard the damaged Murderizinator along with Darth Mendicant (@Officiant) and Lady Tonitrus (@Cainhurst Crow).

The Battle of Ord Trasi was the final nail in the Sith Directorate's coffin. Most of its forces eliminated and several of the incomplete superweapons' locations unknown due to En's death, Ebiara Prasinaima and Darth Andredd had little assets among the two of them. Ebiara left the limelight and continued to work on Project Overreach in the shadows. Darth Andredd continued the fight, seeking revenge for the devastation of his life's work. Even as the Imperial War came to an end and the original Sith Empire crumbled into the Sith Brotherhood, Darth Andredd led his weakened fleet in guerilla warfare against the Republic and its allies.

For almost half a century, threatening the cold war between the Republic and the Sith Brotherhood, Darth Andredd continued to attack Republic and allied outposts, secretly stealing resources for the dying Sith Directorate's projects, killing Jedi when he could, T'ra Bnar among them. However, his era of terror would eventually come to an end. Darth Andredd and his apprentice Durak attacked Muunilinst, believing the Muun homeworld an easy target. However, the Jedi had recently begun forming ties with Dantooine and nearby planets, Muunilinst among them. Jedi were on the planet when Darth Andredd attacked. Darth Andredd went planetside in order to face the Jedi adversaries. Darth Andredd dueled Alderamin Cepheus and Asdill Trec'bre, slaying the latter before retreating toward his shuttle. However, Cepheus had managed to wound the Sith Lord, and when he was confronted by Jedi Master Gladys Keane before reaching his shuttle, Darth Andress knew he had been out-maneuvred. Swallong his pride, he surrendered to the Jedi, and was imprisoned on the classified Republic prison, known only by its codename, The Torch.

Ebiara Prasinaima found herself alone, the last Sin Lord. The recently empowered Galak Daggoth Joined the Sabas Hive's remnant and became the new Dawn Herald, but was killed a few years later by Lyra Fenn and Veryc Almec (@Arclight) when Dawn Herald Daggoth attacked MandalMotors. Aided by the Lady of Crows, Lady Tonitrus, Ebiara went underground. Ebiara infiltrated Czerka Corporation under the moniker The Dowager, seeking Czeka's resources to continue the Sith Directorate's work. When the illegal projects at CZ-181 came under Republic investigation, Ebiara persuaded the Czerka CEO to transfer the projects into a special division under her authority and out of the Republic's hands, a division designated CZ-7.

Czerka Corporation provided the Sith Directorate in its CZ-7 access to some resources, but in some ways even more limited. Czerka Corporation was audited several times a year, preventing too much funds flowing to CZ-7. As such, to expand her resources, The Dowager and Dr. Yuubi proposed the creation of an entirely new religion, the latter seeking to study the effects of brainwashing a society. Cyrillia was chosen for the homeworld, and Nirvanism was born, headed by it's first Omniarch, Dr. Yuubi, a renown forcologist. Nirvanism was spread across the planet and nearby sectors, though Cyrillia remained the nexus of the Church's influence. In the following decades, it would lure in several Force users, boosting the Sith Directorate, which had since then adopted the name Cabal.

The Cabal operated for the next three decades, weeding its way through Czerka Corporation until the corporation was nationalized by the Republic, which led to the Cabal breaking ties with Czerka and massing at Cyrillia and Gyndine. In these years Ebiara searched for Darth Andredd and Darth Sidhell (believing Sidhell to be still alive). Seven years ago she encountered the latest Dawn Herald of the Sabas Hive, still recovering from the decimation decades ago. Now with the manpower needed, the Cabal made a bid for Cyrillia, instigation a civil war on the planet by sabotaging one of the habitation zones. During Aria Deece's strike against the local garrision, the acting Cyrillian commander, the retired general Kalin Varne, was captured. Seeing an opportunity for intel, Ebiara gave Varne to the Sabas Hive to be Joined. What they learned was more than they could have imagined. Varne's clearance in the past had led him to knowing the existence of The Torch, Darth Andredd's prison, and those connected to it.

A plan began to form. A plan that would lead to the Sith Directorate returning to prominence once more. A new age was coming...

Ebiara and her second-in-command began hatching a scheme to free Darth Andredd, selecting to abandon the Cyrillia campaign, especially with Jedi becoming interested in the planet in response to its civil war and eventually settled in the sector. Ebiara and Tonitrus reached out to old contacts, such as Darth Andredd's former apprentice Durak and the Sith warrior Xan'w. Ebiara used Aren Krass and Gorme the Hutt as intermediaries (later assassinating both) with the Bounty Hunters Guild to organize a Grand Hunt. Ebiara seeded targets which would assist their goal, along with a couple of her enemies such as The Prophet and Bau Zo. The list of targets was modified slightly by a slicer named Error404, to add Senator Horkos to the list, to allow Ebiara's plant in the Senate, Suh Resalbin, access to senatorial finance records to pin down The Torch's location. Sago Avaris and Jaylor Briggs were listed in order to obtain schematics and access codes. While some hunters were sent after legitimate targets such as Jakaar and Tracyn Tuani, Talia Al'Saif was sent to eliminate Commander Vexton Velti of a Brotherhood outpost. Velti's death allowed Xan'w to assume command over the outposts soldiers in a bid to strike The Torch with the assistance from Durak's pirate allies. However, the plan began to waver when Xan'w and the outpost were eradicated by the Accord (a move that later motivated the Brotherhood into attacking the Accord), and Durak was slain attempting to steal a ship for the operation. Cutting its losses, Ebiara ordered the assassinations of Aren Krass, Gorme the Hutt, and Error404 to cover up the Cabal's involvement.

Seeking new allies, the Cabal instigated a new tournament called The Crucible, pitting Mandalorians and other fighters against each other on Attahox, the victor a Mandalorian of a group called the Chosen (precursors of Death Watch) named Dak Veren. Seeing the prowess of the Mandalorians, the Cabal hired the Chosen to assault The Torch. The Mandalorians led by Prudii Kyramud (grandson of the Directorate's old enemy, General Danout Kyramud) proved their fee and rescued Darth Andredd from The Torch.

Darth Andredd was dismayed with the state the Sith Directorate was in, and major losses, including that of the agent he sent to investigate the Weapon of the Jedi, Seiry. Darth Andredd connected back with surviving allies in the Brotherhood's military, restoring the Cabal into its rightful place as the Sith Directorate. The three Sin Lords -Darth Andredd, Ebiara Prasinaima, and the Dawn Herald- made alliances with new individuals, such as Lord Jissard and Moff Luxina.

The Sin Lords began a plan to begin construction of new superweapons, and to search out the incomplete weapons of En. Resources were necessary, however. Materials were low and the Sabas Hive lacked enough Joiners. As such, Darth Andredd set his eyes on the Boz Pity area. Amassing a fleet with Lord Jissard, Darth Andredd attacked Nimia and its sister worlds. Though Kafane and Dirha managed to scrounge up defenses, Xoman Three was conquered. However, Vontor, site of the Sith Directorate's kiirium exports, revolted against the Sith invaders, ruining the Directorate's plans for the kiirium. Not wanting to lose the slaves needed to Join the Sabas Hive, Darth Andredd increased Klatooine's invasion's timetable, though ultimately a Jed stopped the planet's slaves from being abducted. As the fleet broke through the siege at Boz Pity, Darth Andredd encountered a Jedi on Danuta during a side operation to steal the brain of T'ra Bnar...

I am reading this profile, though it might take me awhile due to the length.

Skimming through it, though, it seems pretty interesting, and I know you've talked to me about this project in the past. There are a few things I want to address, though, right off the bat:
  1. There are some things missing from the profile outlined in the Lore guidelines. Namely the tag. I know it's a small thing, but it helps us keep these categorized and let's users know (without reading the profile) what they're looking at.
  2. Looking at the tags, you might find a hard time finding one for it to fit in. I couldn't off of the top of my head, but maybe you could.
Most importantly of all, though, how do you see this Lore expanding and adding to the lore of our site? I know you said it is sort of a backdrop for a lot of story arcs and weaves characters together, but I'm talking about specifically in regards to site lore. Some of the details you put into this organization—while great—concern me, because they might lock us into situations if we decide to ever explore the era of the first Sith Empire at some point, which would force us to retcon a lot of stuff in the profile.

Edit: After you address and clarify these issues—and once I've had the opportunity to read this whole thing in depth—then I'll give it a full review.

No surprise about uniformity. Had thought I'd have the chance to modify before I went on vacation but got busy with other pre-vacation errands. Will modify when I return.

I tried to be vague in parts and use irrelevant plants where I could so it wouldn't conflict too much with future canon. TheBith Supercomputer part I think is the most blatant and I can remove that. Anything in particular that stands out as needing removal?

This feels like something that should be in the Sith write-up board since it's intended to be something that the Sith Empire currently uses.

I was thinking the same thing. This feels less like lore and more like faction background to me. What do you say, @Dmitri?

I mean...no offense, Weiss, but do you expect someone to just idly sit down and read through all of this? I just feel like a lot of neat stuff in this article is going to get overlooked because people will tl;dr and skimread. Maybe you'd be better off breaking up the article into several, smaller and more focused lore articles?

It's primarily a hub for all details of the misfits storyline so it's all in one place rather than having to hunt through several threads
