He's also making some poor (imo) decisions, and judging by the reaction from the Sith, i'd say that people agree with me on that. Forget Dakar's plans inside plans, what the Sith are seeing is a former Jedi Grandmaster closing the Sith to new recruits, and telling everyone who is left to decide amongst themselves who is to be his new apprentice. Considering that the Sith are...well, they're Sith, violence always was going to happen.

Therefore, from Xiantos' current course of actions, and from public views and knowledge on him, it would seem to many that he is trying to bring the Sith down from the inside. Considering his considerable time as Grandmaster, that could be very plausible.

(Sorry for the long absent. Damn school work -_-)

Anyway, just to throw an idea out into the open, what about someone else just create a Sith Lord that will become Dark Lord? Someone said that most would not be happy about the idea of it (the Sith in the RP) but it isn't out the window entirely, right?

I normally would create a profile if allowed to but at the current moment, I'm also trying to make a character on another RP site that looks like Doctor Who and is a Time Lord :p

So, yes, very busy :p

There were no Lords, so Nexus promoted the traitor and me.[/b]

Y'know, sometimes, words hurt...

Anyhow, I say Rogal for DL! I mean, what could anyone possibly have against him?!

In all seriousness though, if y'all do indeed manage to kill Xiantos, then the Dark Lord should be Khavaal. And I reckon Phoenix should be the apprentice. (Sorry Phoe (fee), but demonous ain't as cool as Phoenix. And it's easier to write)

That's what I reckon, anyhow.

Well I had a hard time figuring out a Darth name, and I figured "Darth Big Flaming Bird" wouldn't really work...

Once again, I had a really hard time thinking up a Darth name. I'm not exactly the most creative person.

A true Sith would not think that at all. A true Sith would understand what's going on perfectly. They would see that Xiantos is trying to strengthen the Sith, by getting rid of the weak links. It's the way of the dark side, and of the Sith. The culling of the weak. Only a fool would think he's trying to destroy them.

Does no one remember the way the Sith Academy was run in KOTOR? C'mon people. Students were pitted against students for high ranking positions. Some were even killed to move up in the ranks.

This is true; but they weren't killed until there was only one left.

The 4 people on the Sith roster is not the entire order. There are plenty of NPCs, so just because the PCs destroy themselves doesn't mean that the Sith will be destroyed.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(LORD OF MATTHEWS @ Sep 30 2007, 06:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div>

Okay, there will be NPC's but do we really want to eliminate all but one PC? I think that would make things quite boring.

Not if Sith sign-ups were to be open again after that. I would assume that the Sith sign-ups were closed for the purpose of this fight not anything like "Dakar wants to destroy the Sith from the inside" as mentioned above.
