The State of the Empire
Hey there everyone, so a lot has happened to the Sith over the last couple of weeks, and while announcements have been coming out one piece at a time, I thought it would be good to put them all in one place so that everyone is up to date.
The most exciting piece of this announcement (if you have somehow missed it) is that the Sith Civil War has been brought to an end! With a special thanks to @Narsi the two Sith Empires have now come together as the Sith Empire through the efforts here. With this, the two factions are now one and there are multiple updates that come with it.
First, mission rewards have been redone and reworked to incorporate pieces from both the Imperial Republica and Old Empire systems. The new system will supercede the old, though if you have questions about your specific case please feel free to contact someone from Sith Leadership.
Second, there is lateral movement of ranks. If you were a Crusader in the Imperial Republica, you will be allowed to retain your rank within the new Empire. The goal is unification of the two orders. In addition, the ranks have been updated as seen here including the addition ofthe ranks Dark Lord and Grand Moff to assist the Emperor.
In addition to personally taking over as Faction Leader, please extend another congratulations to @Faded Truth and @Nefieslab as they help me get the Sith back on track once again. They are the two acting AFLs at this time, and have already been a huge help to me. I'm looking forward to having them on the team, so please congratulate them if you haven't already.
If you look over at the map I'm sure you will notice a couple of major things right off the map. First, as was noted above, there is no longer a differentiation between the Old Empire and the Imperial Republica's territory as they are now unified under the one true Sith Empire.
Secondly, and more unfortunately, the territory has shrunk significantly. As a result of losing 3 Emperors in as many months, many of the systems have lost faith in the Empire's ability to defend itself and its citizens, which has resulted in secession of significant territory. Time to convince them they don't know what they're talking about!
In recent days, the Empire managed to launch assaults against Naboo and Al'doleem, forcing the Rebels to abandon their base on Al'doleem and seizing the planet of Naboo.
As we speak, the Empire has launched a new attack against the planet of Hoth, and we need your help! There are still slots left, so I want you!
So how does this affect you? I want you to get involved! The faction is being reworked, there's new opportunity for promotion and advancement, and there's work to be done to restore the Empire to its former glory. In addition to the assault on Hoth as mentioned above, there are missions still available on Gamorr, Saleucami, and the remnant of Imperial Hutta. Let's get out there andmake the Empire great again restore the Empire!
