Both of the Empires had their attention completely elsewhere. With the Kaggoth taking place at the moment, their fleets hovered over where the combat was and leaving the core worlds open for assault. Valentine was currently on Corellia, the opportunity now more present than ever. He heard reports of the Mando's planning their own attack and he couldn't sit by and do nothing this time. Along with Val were some rebel soldiers, eager as him in wanting to take the fight to the Sith. Aly was here as well and even though she wasn't the most prepared for this, he wanted her to come and stationed her somewhere else to help, he would need all that he could get.

Valentine and these men weren't sanctioned to do this and he knew that if he survived and came back to the Order their could be a trial on him. But as they navigated closer and closer to their target, the Coronet Capital Tower, those thoughts were pushed from his mind. Val had to do something and he hated that he had to sit and wait while doing nothing except helping students or negotiating with diplomacy. He missed the adrenaline rush that came with this.

Based on the time, the Mandalorians would arrive at any moment now and Valentine wouldn't attack until they did. He gave the same instructions towards Alys, hoping she was stationed where she needed to be. Checking his chrono once more, Valentine arrived at the designated spot and waited there. The Jedi was dressed in his personal armor, ditching the robes for something with far more protection. Val's lightsabers were already near both of his hands as he built the force around himself, reaching out with his senses during the meantime.

Raz knew this would be a moment that would resonate throughout the galaxy. It would send ripples and shockwaves across multiple planets. This was a strike near the heart of the Republica, and it would happen right when its Empress dueling with the Old Empire’s leader. This would show them the cost petty squabbles and what it meant for the Republica’s people. Despite the bounty on them, Solus remained true to its nature, never backing down in the face of danger.

Things were quiet in the city for now, the Coronet Capitol Tower standing proudly as a testament to honor the centuries of bloodshed the Republica supported. When she thought about the tower, she remembered Medriaas. She remembered her own village on the moon of Concord Dawn. She remembered the dead men and women from her unit. All of it led up to this moment, and it was too late to back down from it now.

After a moment, a ship whizzed across the sky, flying low. It began to attract the attention of some civilians, larger than the average personal aircraft that zoomed above. While the ship flew, the exit ramp began to lower, the winds screeching and slapping against her armor. As the ramp lowered, the city came into view beneath her. The incline was opened just enough for the basilisk war droid to skid down the entire length of it, expelling her into the air.

Raz was proudly adorned in her beskar’gam, jettisoning through the air as the droid free-fell many meters towards the front of the tower. Her T-visor and the badger sigil on her bicep was unmistakable. She had her PIPE slung over shoulders instead of a rifle (though the rifle was stowed in the droid if she needed it), her disruptor on her hip, along with her secondary blaster. A saber was on her hip as well in case it was necessary, along with her usual roll out gear.

She said nothing as they rapidly descended, Reyna also riding atop the droid with her. Below, civilians shrieked and scattered in different directions, leaving behind only soldiers and guards that normally amassed around the tower. Raz controlled the fall, allowing the droid to have precision for the landing. The ship where she ejected from kept flying away, leaving the scene.

The droid landed with a heavy thud, the impact creating cracks throughout the ground as a small crater formed. Raz didn’t move from where she was, her helmeted head slowly gazing up to look at the tower and the Imperials that stood in her way. For a moment, it was as if everything came to a halt. It was the calm before the storm, the sharp intake of breath before the panic set in. Beneath the helmet, the faintest smile graced her face.

The path to this day had been long and winding. Reyna's position had always been a simple one. She was a grunt, an enforcer, the hammer for the chisel. A single cog in the grand machinations of her superiors. Today was different though. She was one of few and the vision was grander. She was vital, they all were, and because of that they couldn't - they wouldn't - fail.

The metal-on-metal scraping of the basilisk sliding down the ramp jolted Reyna's mind from its haze of thought. Her irises contracted to pinpoints as they free-fell, adrenaline pumping through her veins like battery acid. As the very ground beneath them cracked and splintered from the basilisk, Reyna gripped her rifle steadily as they landed.

Through the dimmed glass of her T-visor, Reyna aimed her rifle in the direction of the tower. There was zero chance that they would make their attempt without a firefight, and she would be ready to put a bolt in the forehead of any Imperial dog that dared make the mistake of opposing them.

A smirk creased Reyna's lips as she looked out. There would be songs sung of what they did here today - loudly and gloriously, their deeds known by any soul who spoke Mando'a.

Valentine knew the Mandalorians and Raz were coming but he had no idea how. He kept his eyes on the ground, expecting them all to silently step out from where they were hiding and turn into a fighting force. But he was gravely mistaken as he heard the rumble of engines above him. A ship was flying in close and Val arched his eyebrow, not able to tell who it was but he saw the ramp opened before a basilisk war droid slid out and freefell from the sky. His mouth opened slightly as one of the people riding it was unmistakable, Raz with the symbol of her clan displayed proudly on her armor. The same look befall upon all the soldiers that were with him, not having seen something like this happen before and seeing clan Solus in action like this. Val could always count on Raz to make the loudest and grandest entrance she could.

The droid landed with a large thud, seeming to shake the entire ground and break the will of any civilians that wanted to watch the spectacle. It landed right in front of the tower and now it was time for Val to show himself, standing from where he was hiding as GA soldiers did the same. Val rushed forward towards the tank, telling the soldiers that followed him here to stay with it and escort it for how long it was operational. When he approached the vehicle, Raz would hear a soft thud as Val landed on top of it, his gaze immediately piercing through her T-visor helmet as he gave her grin, "You certainly know how to make an entrance Pip." There was another Mandalorian on the tank but Val didn't know her and he could safe introductions after this was done.

The soldiers that followed him took positions up by the tank, quite surprised to be so close to Mando's and their impressive weaponry. The Jedi would be standing next to Raz on the tank, the wind blowing gently through. Val turned his gaze toward the tower, seeing the Imperials that were there form a line of defense. The Jedi was ready, his hands by his sabers once more as he calmly called the force to himself, letting it build around him while the storm was still brewing.

Meetings, meetings, and more meetings. While the power and influence that came with expanding her House was something she had grown quite fond of quite quickly, the same could not always be said for meetings as unsuccessful as that one had just been. A meeting with the military, a showing for the founding of her new platoon. So, she’d been asked to come in her full armour, brought all her weapons to show, just to parade her troops at the front of the tower. How ridiculous it all seemed.

How peculiar now that, as she left the building, they were just the things she needed.

As the wardroid plummeted from the sky and cracked the ground as it landed, she glanced about herself, praying that she wasn’t the only Sith about who was ready for a scuffle. Happily, she wasn’t, catching the other Sith arrayed round the square.

With a sigh she ignited her lightsaber in her left hand, keeping it raised before her, ready to deflect any blaster bolts that came her way. Saorise had already been drawing the force to herself as she saw the thing screech to earth, just in case. Good thing she had it seemed. She could see three, two mandolorians and another at the centre by the droid. Clearly the leaders. And her targets.

There was no point in calling out or making noise. The civilians having fled already did that. If anything, now it was quiet, too quiet, what was about to happen was all too clear. All she had to know was that these were Mandalorians, all too proud, and another group who stood alongside them. Traitors and terrorists all.

Time they learnt a lesson.

As the enemy troops gathered, Saorise’s platoon called the attack, engaging them and the droid. A good thing she’d brought them along. And they wouldn't be alone, on a Core World like Corellia the military was never far away, certainly not for an entrance like that. The planetary guard would be on their way soon, with more than a little backup. If these people wanted a war, they would get it.

All the while she and the other Sith would go for the leadership, the trio by the droid, and end this quickly.

For the Empire.

NPC's just for fluff of course :) because let's have a proper battle

Valar Dohaeris - Sith of the Empire.

And right now?

A man annoyed that it seemed nowhere was safe from the attacks of the Mandalorians. Corellia was a good target though, he would admit, but there was something odd about these Mandalorians. He came up from behind them, further back from the tower, having noticed the attack shortly after leaving said tower. Around him were members of Cor Sec who had filtered in from nearby streets, men equiped with blaster pistols and stunners. Hardly the best equipment to take on Mandalorians - but that was the odd thing he noticed.

Whereas the Cor Sec agents were equipped with blasters and stun weapons as was expected, Valar himself was in his regular marauder gear with his regular weapons (and two frag grenades) hidden by the robes at his side - only two of the Mandalorians were dressed as Mandalorians. Most of the infantry were dressed in rather low quality armour when compared to the Mandalorians themselves and one man atop the droid looked to be dressed very differently as well. As for the droid itself?

Well let it never be said that the Mandalorians lacked ways to overcompensate.

Igniting his crossguard lightsaber in his right hand, Valar held his shoto saber in his left hand, igniting it as well. He wanted to get right up in there for this battle, to fight the Mandalorians face to face - or rather, mask to helmet. He was excited to start and he began to building the Force up inside of him, prepared to react as he readied himself for the attack that they all knew was coming.

If death was to come for him this day then so be it - he would give his life in service to his Empire. But hopefully not before he made a few of these karks die for his Empire first. He whispered to himself, smiling wide behind his mask.

"All men must die..."

Guard duty wasn't the most fun Zarya ever had but she knew she had to pay her dues and if that meant standing outside for several hours, she would do it without complaint, standing in front of the tower dressed in her combat armour with her usual equipment but it seemed things were about to get interesting.

she watched as a low flying ship approached the tower, her eyes narrowed as she saw the cargo ramp lower, her hand rested on her saberstaff as she saw the war droid plummet to the ground, she had to admit she hadn't seen a droid like it before but she recognised the armour of Mandalorians, clan solus, the one that had been raiding Republica territory and the murderers of her friend Eddard. she had been itching to fight them ever since she heard they killed him but it seemed they weren't alone.

Mercs appeared from one of the side streets taking up positions by the droid, she activated only a single crimson blade of her saberstaff, holding it defensive stance on their rebels appearance, bring the force around her ready for the fight ahead. a coordinated attack, since when, were the Mandalorians working with mercs, she thought to herself, the Mandos didn't seem like the ones to make friends outside their culture.

Raz took in sight of the civilians flooding out of the streets and away from the scene. Despite the devastation she wanted to bring the empire, she had no desire to kill innocents that had no stake in the war. As soon as the path cleared, the droid began to fire on the tower directly in front. Laser cannons fired as the bolts tore through the building, but it was only moments before there was return fire.

During this, she abruptly noticed a figure jump up on the tank near her. She had her pistol in hand and was ready to shoot when she realized who it was. The mere sight of Val was almost enough to make her lose her focus on the operation entirely. He had a way of throwing off her game, and she paused for the smallest moments. She felt a rush of excitement and mild terror at once “Uh...um..,” She sputtered stupidly before a rain of blaster bolts collided with the droid. Thankfully it wasn’t enough to do any serious damage, but it reminded her she needed to focus.

She could see sabers igniting as Sith began to gather to defend the tower. Raz turned to Reyna, “Take control of the droid and watch my six” Raz then turned to face Val, “...Stay alive,” She muttered, still shaken from seeing him, before she activated her jetpack and burst up into the air. Raz whirled around to spot a man with two sabers while she was in the air and she leveled her pistol and fired two blasts while hovering mid air.

She didn’t stop there, whipping up to land atop a one story building directly to the side. All around them, explosions took place and Cor Sec and the rebel soldiers began to engage. Thankfully, all of the civilians were out of the way for now, but it was pure chaos in the streets.

The Imperial's weren't slow in returning fire, Valentine ducking slightly and letting the droid take the brunt of it. He felt the same rush as Raz did, a mix of fear and excitement to be on the battlefield together. It had been some time since the two of them had been in a battle and actually working together but it had never felt like this. After she had given the orders to the other Mando and looked to him to tell him to stay alive, Val smirked before muttering back to her, "You too, Pip." She jutted off into the air and now it was time for Val to focus as he brought his gaze forward. He could already sense two other force signatures in front of him with Raz taking the other behind them.

Val could see the blade of a single saber and he knew who his target was. Standing up from his position, both of the Jedi's sabers flew into each of his hands. Val activated his right saber, a deep purple blade springing to life with a shriek as he twirled it through his fingers before aiming it straight at the Sith and letting everyone on the battlefield know the truth. The Jedi were real, they weren't some myth or childhood stories any longer. They were alive and well and clearly allied with the Mandalorians. Usually, Val wouldn't be so careless about brandishing his weapon but he was here to send the message. There was a reason to have hope in the galaxy With the force building around him, Val leaped from the droid and soared through the air, deflecting blaster bolts as he slashed his blade back and forth to deflect them to the ground. The Jedi landed onto the ground with a roll, instantly turning it into a sprint as he went with his momentum and charged forward to the Sith.

Val was only on the ground for a second before leaping through the air again, this time low to the ground as the distance between him and Zarya was rapidly closed. Val brought his right saber down diagonally, intending to slash her right across the torso with his blade. When his feet touched the ground his other saber in his left would activate as well, another deep purple blade coming to life as he would do a quick slash at her legs as well. Val wouldn't wait to see if his strikes were successful or before dashing out and spinning on his heel to face the Sith. Val twirled both of his blades, his gaze locked on the Sith as the force built around him and he kept his senses alert.
"Hi, a pleasure to meet you." Val stepped to the right, his blades at the ready as he waited on the woman.

Even through the thick air of a war zone Reyna could feel the weird tension between Raz and the man. Underneath her helmet she raised an inquisitive eyebrow, but decide against making any sarcastic quips. If it was obvious to her it would have been obvious to even the most forrest of gumps that the two needed to stop trading words and just bang it out already.

"Raoye bal utreyar, ke'gyce." She responded to Raz's order. Reyna had never operated a basilisk wardroid before. A mischievous grin split her lips as she surveyed the battlefield. The others had chosen their targets from the few Sith who'd been foolish enough to brandish their sabers. Their hubris told them they were prepared. Reality would show them that they were anything but.

As Raz soared away and the Jedi did whatever it was that Jedi's do - Which, Reyna made a mental note to freak out about that later. Jedi? Really? She thought they had all been killed. What a ride - Reyna turned her attention towards the pretentious looking blond woman. Probably had a name like Brittany or something. Gross.

Piloting the droid, Reyna rode it until she was maybe ten meters away from the Saorise before she leapt from its back and landed gracefully on her feet. "Kyr'amur tutnayr." She told the droid. It wasn't as smart as your average droid but it would be able to understand what she meant. The basilisk tore off in the direction of the imperial soldiers, firing on them with this plasma cannons. The unfortunate souls caught in the blast radius were essentially vaporized, the basilisk deciding to start smacking some of the others around with its massive metal claws.

Staring at the blond woman through the dimness of her t-visor, Reyna smiled again. Reaching to her belt, she took out her own lightsaber. One she had taken from the body of another Sith. Igniting its crimson blade, she motioned for Saorise to bring it.

Valar almost faltered.

A Jedi.

A Jedi was here, a Jedi was alive and a Jedi was aiding the Mandalorians. It was rather odd, to his mind, that the Mandalorians had gone from spending a few centuries happily murdering Jedi and suspected Jedi to suddenly cuddling up to them on their war droids.

But he didn't waste time thinking about it.

Instead he just... enjoyed it.

He enjoyed the moment, the exact second, that he knew that the man was a Jedi. He took a second to just revel in the fact that the Jedi, the True Enemy of the Sith, had returned.

Throughout his time as a Sith and before, Valar had felt... bored.

Listless in a way.

He would fight other Sith, he would fight Mandalorians and other rebels out of duty but this? This was he first moment in his life that Valar he honestly say that he felt a hunger, a desire, to so battle and to do it well for not only himself but for the Empire as well.

The boredom and apathy burned away and he found himself grinning from ear to ear beneath his mask. He couldn't stop himself - he laughed.

"YES!" He crowed loudly, "THE TRUE ENEMY HAS RETURNED AT LAST!"

He was positively giddy with excitement, with a rush of raw emotion and passion. He stopped laughing but his smile would have been demented behind his mask he was sure. All he had to do to get a crack at being the first Sith in centuries to cut a Jedi in half was to deal with the Mandalorian woman - and he had never been so determined to do so before now. The Mandalorians, for all their dragon droids or whatever, just didn't excite him the way a Jedi did. But he still had to deal with her.

Rather than deflect the blaster bolts or block them, he leapt using the Force, flying through the air up to the building she jetted off to, avoiding the blaster bolts by travelling through the air, while keeping his blades defensively close to himself.

Landing upon the rooftop, Valar would surge forwards, looking to cross the distance between himself and the Mandalorian woman. His lightsabers were still both in his hands and he had her entirely in his focus with both the Force and without. If he managed to cross the distance without issue he would open with a probing attack - slashing at her torso horizontally with his crossguard lightsaber while keeping his shoto close for body protection - but he didn't expect to reach her without issues at this stage.

No matter what he wouldn't stop smiling and he would speak as he moved.

"Where have you been hiding them, Mando? They been hiding behind you, waving you around like a puppet with their hands up your arse?!" He demanded with another laugh, "No matter - tell me. Are there more?! Are they back?!"

He couldn't stop the smile that split his face behind his mask at the mere idea that the Jedi were to return. Finally, Valar felt awake.

“Vaykaris squad, on those blasters! Primaris, get heavy weapons on that basilisk, bring down its weapons systems!” Saorises faze whirled around the battle that erupted in front of her. Between her own troops, corsec, mandalorians, and whatever other troops they had, there was no chance of making sense of it all in the moment. She could only try to make sure the traitors didn’t co any closer,

“Dominus squad, with me, focus on the...” across the battlefield, Saorise saw something, something she couldn’t have predicted. A glow of light across the way, a sparking purple blade that burst from between the blaster fire and smoke as it leapt from the back of the Basilisk to the ground before her, moving at Zarya near her.

It couldn’t be.

Throwing off her helmet to reveal her blonde hair, she needed to see it with her own eyes. And was exactly as she thought. More information only seemed to confirm it.

A buzz in her ear, more soldiers, a sector over more soldiers reported fighting. And another, blue lightsaber leading the charge. It was true then.

The Jedi has returned.

The empires greatest enemies in the old days. Her mind told her that it had to be a lie. It could not be a Jedi, it was just some fool with a stolen blade, nothing more than that. That the Jedi were long gone and forgotten was a given, that they could ever return but a shadow of a thought.

And yet, standing where she did now, on the frontlines of their return, she could not deny what her eyes showed her, what she knew now to be true.

And it made her afraid. It made her angry, it made her ready to lash out. So much of the Empire was failing around her, enemies to the south, the east, inside its very walls. And here came one thought dead.

Well, she would make sure it stayed that way,

“Blasters on the Jedi, now!” she screamed into her comms, her soldiers turning and firing everything they had on the revealed Jedi as a mandolorian touched down in front of her. A barbarian with a dead mans blade in their hand. They wouldn’t stop her long.

As Reyna motioned to her, Saorise was more than happy to oblige, gritting her teeth and snapping her blaster from her belt, she fired off a trio of shots as she closed the distance, keeping her own blade up to guard as blaster bolts burned up the air around her. She would end this fight before long, or damn well die trying.

Zarya was taken aback by the activation of the lightsaber, it's purple hue filling the air around the man, her fixated on the blade. she knew what the colour of blade meant, she had study sith history for long enough. "Jedi" she whispered under her breath, the ancient enemy thought to be long past extinct was standing right in front of her. A flurry questions fill her mind. if the jedi are back is he the last? Or are others? how much knowledge did they retain? none of them would be answered, not unless she captured the jedi alive.

She shifted her feet nervously as she realised the jedi appeared to be focused on her, she knew right then she was about to be the first sith in over 400 years to fight a jedi and she wasn't going to let the Empire or the Empress down, she would show her worth to them.

No, the jedi is mine, focus on the droid and the mercs” she spoke into her comlink with fierce determination in response to the orders given, she knew they would just get in the way of the fight and to win the battle they need to defeat all the forces not just a single jedi.

She steeled herself for the coming fight, refocusing at the task at hand defending the tower, still holding onto force she had built around her. He was most defiantly a jedi after the performance he gave them, he was fast she gave him that but she was more than ready for him, she blocked the slash to her chest while activating the second blade of saberstaff to catch his strike at her leg. Before she could counter-attack he retreated back, much to her frustration.

The pleasure is all mine, jedi.” she relished in saying the word, deactivated her second blade, she circled the man before striking at him with a downward slash across his chest from his left, not waiting for to see if the strike would be blocked or connect she activated her other blade and proceed with upward slash along the same angle as her first slash.

It happened and there was nothing Raz could do to prevent it. She saw the blades springing forth in the corner of her eye, and she whipped around to look. Her shots flew wide as she realize Val ignited his sabers. He had done it out in the open. 500 years of secrecy was suddenly and abruptly out in the open. She could see everyone stopping what they were doing to take it in, as that realization hit everyone at once. It was as if she had been punched abruptly in the gut, and she knew there was no going back.

Amidst the fire and smoke, amidst the chaos, twin violet blades shined as beacons that stood apart from everything else. A chill ran down her spine, and she knew the galaxy was watching. This moment would forever resonate in the hearts and minds of everyone there, and it would rapidly spiral up all the way up to the Empress, the Emperor and every Sith and Imperial far and wide. This would cause a ripple that would expand into a tidal wave to overwhelm everyone, and it would greatly endanger the rebels. Why had he done it? Why was he here? Why was he here as a Jedi? Why did he reveal himself? She couldn't help but blame herself. She had told him about Corellia. She had done this.

“Val no!” She cried out, her voice not carrying far enough for him to hear. She was too stunned to react, taking a few steps back as everyone turned their focus on him. He was the main target now, and he had everyone’s eyes on him. Blasters were leveled, her heart beat rapidly against her chest. She heard the Sith she fired at hopping up, but she didn’t look at him then. He could have cut her apart, and she didn’t care. Her gaze lingered on the fool of a Jedi, that damned, insufferable man that always ran at problems instead of away from them. Why was he like this? Why did it grate on her so much? He had every way of making her plans crumble, and he was doing it again and guaranteeing his death. The focus shifted away from the Mandalorians, everyone now soaking in the gravity of this new threat.

She saw a group of soldiers immediately turn on him to begin shooting in his direction. Anger coursed through her, and she knew the Sith would be on her shortly, “You won’t kriffing touch him,” She growled under her breath as she aimed and fired her wrist rocket at the group of soldiers on the ground. Raz didn’t look to see the impacts, turning so the saber of the Sith cut into the side of her arm. Her distraction had cost her, but she wouldn’t let Val get destroyed just like that.

From Val’s perspective, he would see soldiers aiming at him, and then a moment later, a rocket blasted into them. Shrapnel tore into them, sending them flying in different directions. The Imperials screamed and cried out in pain, many missing limbs and bleeding out on the streets. A few on the ground glanced up, realizing the Jedi wasn’t alone. Several other Solus Mandalorians lined up along the roof, their rockets and guns pointed at any soldier that dared to cause the Jedi harm.

Meanwhile, Raz reeled from the graze against her bicep, but she had avoided any serious damage. She glared at the Sith through her visor, “It doesn’t matter,” She growled at him, “You won’t live long enough to find out,” With that, she dashed forward, bringing up her own blade to clash with his and duel him using his own weapon. Her left hand clutched the disruptor, prepared to blast him at any open opportunity.

The Mandalorian ignored him at her peril and took a slash across her arm just so that she could attempt to save the Jedi from a group of soldiers that likely didn't actually present any danger to him. Honestly, Valar would have considered this whole thing the worst kind of tease had the karking Jedi bitten the big one like a chump just because he wasn't paying attention. Still, it meant that the Mandalorian woman didn't want to see the Jedi hurt.

Which was just amazing.

"Aww isn't that precious?"
he cooed mockingly, "You want to look after the Jedi? Why? He make you feel like your mando box got blaster fried with a smile or something?"

He laughed and surged forwards to meet her in a clash of blades.

"I'll find out."
he promised, his eyes manic behind his mask, "I'll find out even if I have to tear through your mind and turn it to mush. Hell - maybe I'll send you back to your Jedi friend a drooling mess?! Maybe he's into that kind of thing? Hahaha!"

Bringing his shotosaber up, he blocked her lightsaber a bit closer to himself that others would have perhaps been comfortable with. The heat of his own saber and hers together was uncomfortable on his left side but it left his right side free. Rather than attempt to attack with his crossguard lightsaber however, he punched forward with the hand that held it, launching a Force Push-like telekinetic punch to Raz's gut.

He didn't want to kill her.

He wanted to hurt her.

He wanted to break this haughty woman and see her in pain.

He wondered if the Jedi would care?

The Corellian weather began to play up and rain began to descend upon them from the heavens. It wasn't a light shower either - it was quickly becoming a downpour. The rain bounced up from the rooftop it was so heavy and sizzled as it landed upon the ignited lightsaber blades. Valar would pull back from their blade lock regardless of how effective his other attack had been, twirling his crossguard lightsaber in one hand as he licked his lips.

"Having fun yet? No?"
He laughed, "Don't worry - I'll make you scream, Mando witch."

The Sith probably looked menacing stood there in the rain with his dark armour and two red blades at the ready. His eyes, a putrid shade of yellow, were visible through his mask as they stared out at Raz, a mixture of sick happiness and lust combined with a furious hatred.

OOC: this is long af but I thought the basilisk was dope and needed a moment, @christhebarker Val's actions start after para six. lol

The entire area surrounding the Tower was a devasted battlefield, craters from the rockets and multiple firearms that were used. Pillars of smoke rose up from them, filling the sky with the black smoke as a sign of the carnage that was happening. The screams from the city around them were audible, families trying to hide their children as other parts were attacked. The weather tried to help the situation, the rain beating down on the planet's surface with a certain ferocity as it started to put out some of the fires that cropped up. The power of it drowned out any external noise from the battle and giving a sense that they were all in their own little bubble, that this was the only thing that was happening on the planet and everything depended on this here and now.

The Basilisk had been busy with its prey, it's razor sharp steel claws covered in blood and body parts that remained clung onto it from the soldiers it dismembered. The massive creature swung its head toward its master, seeing Raz take a strike from the opposing Sith before taking out a group of shoulders from her rocket even during the middle of the storm. Seeing its master receive damage, the creature lifted it's head up, letting out an unearthly and unnatural mechanical howl that would demonstrate rage if it could. The red lights on its head shined brighter than before, easily seeable through the downpour of the rain. The droid was about to launch itself at the Sith before experiencing small arms fire from a nearby building with Imperial soldiers setting up position there. The droid snarled as it directed it's attention towards them before using its claws and legs to move towards them.

The soldiers kept firing upon it but the bolts simply reflected off its armor, the droid a hulking demon that didn't care for their weapons in the slightest. When it closed the distance enough, the droid sunk its claws into the ground, launching itself in the air with the help of its thrusters, directing it straight toward the Imperial nest. The soldier's on top realized what it was doing and tried to run but it was too late, the massive droid landing on the same roof behind them as the entire building rumbled from its weight. The Basilisk let out a mechanical screech before using its thrusters to turn, swiping it's tail across the entire roof as glass, stone, and bodies parts mixed together fell upon the ground like the rain. The droid sank it's claws into the roof, stopping in its tracks as it scanned the ground, seeking its next target.

Suddenly special sirens from the Tower erupted, it piercing the sound of the storm and battle easily. Small landing pads protruded from the structure and suddenly three small crafts from one of them, peeling off and flying straight towards the fight. The Basilisk snapped its head toward them, one of them a transport of fresh soldiers. The sky was completely black now from the dark clouds that hovered over the sky, making the ships quite hard to see but the droid didn't have such a problem, its scanners detecting them easily. It waited on the roof, sinking its claws deeper into the structure to set in place as the weapons on it begun to warm up. Everyone on the field could hear the shriek of impending fighters that were coming but suddenly bright gold lasers pierced the sky, tearing through the wing of one of the crafts before smoke erupted from it and crashed into a nearby building with a crash of debris.

The other fighter tried to turn away but a missile flew through the air, a smoke trail following directly behind it as it sought after the target and hit it right in the back. The simple ship simply exploded in the air, creating a light show above the ground. While the Basilisk dealt with the fighters, the transport thought it could land its soldiers undetected but the droid never forgot about it. While the thrusters weren't made for direct flying, the droid knew how to use them well. The transport approached closer to the ground but suddenly everyone would see the massive droid launch itself from the building and directly towards the transport, it let out a mechanical screech. Lightning erupted from the sky behind it, creating a sheen across its battle-hardened armor that made it look like it came from a nightmare. The droid's claws sunk into the belly of the transport, it using its thrusters to stay on the hull of it as it's steel claws sank deeper and destroyed internal systems.

The ship couldn't support the droid's weight and the transport started spinning towards the ground with the droid, the soldiers inside being thrown inside like ragdolls. But before it could touch the ground, the Basilisk simply dragged its claws across the ship as they spun and cut the thing in half. The back part of the ship fell to the ground as the droid threw the other half, destroyed bodies of soldiers falling to the ground. The sky rained metal once more as the Basilisk showed it's destructive power. The droid free fell into the air before immediately activating it's thrusters again, descending in a controlled manner before slamming into the ground once to cause a small earthquake and crater where it landed. The Basilisk let out another mechanical howl, filling any Imperial that saw it's animalistic display with fear to their very core.

The rain pounded against Val, soaking him to his bone but despite everything that was happening around them he felt a surge of emotion around him. His gaze instantly snapped to Raz, recognizing easily before seeing the soldiers that were taking aim on him. Val had his sabers but he wasn't that good to block all of their incoming fire. That was when a rocket landed in the middle of them and tore them to shreds, pieces of them flying everywhere. His gaze snapped back to Raz and he saw her get clipped by a saber from an opposing Sith. She took a hit to protect him and emotion surged through him at seeing someone harm her. But Val had to push it down, she could take care of herself and she knew what she was doing. He had to focus on his Sith before the sight of Raz threw him off.

The Jedi sensed signatures around him and he thought it was more Imperials, wondering how many damn men this place had before seeing exactly who they were. They were Solus soldiers and Val couldn't be more thankful as they protected him from further Imperial interference. This was living proof that this alliance could work and be successful and the sight of the Mandalorians was something he was grateful for. But Val now had to focus on the Sith in front of him as she offered her own pleasantries before coming in for the strike. Val immediately took a step back, dodging the first strike as it whizzed by his chest. He was able to see the second blade from the corner of his eye and he brought his foot back, avoiding any collateral damage before bringing his left blade down to bounce her's off his. When his left blade came into contact with hers, he pushed his right hand forward with a small blast of the force, making her slide back with the help of the rain as it put some distance between them.

Val didn't wait long, immediately summoning the force to his legs as he launched himself backward and up into the air, flipping through before landing on one of the nearby landing pods. Empty speeders rested on the pad and Val stared down at Zara at a moment before stepping back and closing his eyes controlling the force once more as multiple speeders were lifted off the ground. There were four in total and he simply pushed them forward, Zara now able to see the vehicles free fall down towards her position. Val wouldn't be able to see the results but he had a clue and started stepping back as he twirled his blades in circles, the rain sizzling off of his blades and creating small trails of steam. "Come on, let's have a private dance."

Chaos enveloped the square. in the short time that had passed it felt as if all Corellia was going up in flames around her as the battle grew in size and scope. Blasters flared, grenades bounced and exploded alongside the rockets and ships that appeared in the sky, wracking the buildings around them and bringing what had been a silent night in Coronet City into a warzone.

And yet Saorise couldn't help but revel in it. Amongst all that was happening she could centre herself, the individual in the chaos who could affect it all. Anyone could, they simply had to go forth and seize it. And that's what Sith did well.

Her blaster bolts tore across to the mandalorian across from her, the armoured idiot with the red lightsaber. Between the Basilisk and the Jedi, she didn't dare give her a second thought. Too much to command, to much to take the glory in. If her name was to be raked through the mud then now, on the frontlines against whatever damn fool resistance this was, she would reclaim her name

Redirecting her attention from the Mandalorian soldier infront of her, her gaze shifted to the basilisk, proud and unsubtle, it tore through cor-sec soldiers left and right, blasters bolts bouncing from its hull as it scaled buildings and swatted transports from the sky. The damned thing would be onto her soldiers next, just like that rocket had torn though Dominus Squad. Dohaeris would make her pay for that, she was sure. For now though, that mechanical beast needed to be put down, and she meant to try and do it,

"Vaykaris Squad!" splaying her fingers and sending a blast of kinetic energy at the mandalorian, she called into her comms as she began to break and run, tearing across the battlefield, the rain soaking her hair and bones as it darkened the sky,

"On me! We're not letting that thing take another step" she cried, her voice quivering with a violence usually stowed away as she pointed her blade toward the belly of the beast, crashing to the ground.

More voices in her ear, Cor-Sec's heavy artillery was drawing closer, advanced weaponry and armoured vehicles that would tear that thing to shreds. That meant all she needed to do was clear their way, and keep it occupied.

Easier said than done.

With Vaykaris laying down covering fire, they charged a line of Solus troops that covered the way between them and the metal monstrosity. Beskar-garm gave way to blood as she ducked beneath blaster fire, driving a blade between ones rib cage as the others fell into battle with her own men. Well trained and drilled, they'd hold the line for her till reinforcements could arrive, kill this strike before it got any worse.

Saorise instead drew inward, feeling the pounding of rockets, the sprays of blood, screams of pain. The hate, so, so much hate in the air between everyone present, only fuel for the fire of the darkside that she drew on now, a crackle of lightning form in her hands as the storm struck around them. Her lightsaber stowed, she felt the force between her fingers grow and grow, before looking forward, the basilisk before her, and releasing it. Lightning tore from her fingers, more than she was usually capable of, the violence and anger of battle supplying the energy as it ripped into the War-Droid, forcing it down as it worked at frying the things mind, the electricity leaping through the rain as it bit at the soaking Basilisk's metal.

But, she would not be able to hold it for long.

Reyna's gaze had never left the blond woman, even when activating her jetpack to avoid the shots that had been levied in her direction. Getting out of the way of blaster fire wasn't particular difficult with a rocket strapped to your back, afterall.

Reyna rose high into the air as the rain came pouring down. From her vantage point in the air Reyna watched through the rain as the blond Sith moved onto more pressing matters, somewhat sad that she couldn't really hear what Reyna could only assume was desperate and manic cries as the basilisk began was tearing through the Sith soldiers like they were nothing but paper - paper filled with blood and guts that were now strewn haphazardly across the Corellian soil. A sight that Reyna burned into her memory, one that she could recall when times were tough or she needed a pick-me-up. There was nothing better, in her opinion, than Sith mongrels dying in the way they deserved: unceremoniously, and in mass quantities.

But then Brittany made a grave mistake. She was trying to destroy the basilisk. Something that Reyna had been charged with protecting. It may have not been a real living creature but to the Mandalorians, they may as well have been. Revered and honored were the basilisk war droids... and the stupid witch was actually attempting to harm it. It would have been the same as Reyna showing up to Brittany's house and kicking her dog. The only difference being, Reyna would have succeeded. Brittany was going to fail.

The thrusters of Reyna's jetpack roared to life as she catapulted herself towards Saorise. She had put her lightsaber back, freeing up both of her hands, which seemed like the perfect opportunity to do something Reyna hadn't done in awhile. Aiming her arm at Saorise, Reyna pressed a button on her wrist and fired a rocket directly at the Sith. It would impact near her feet - going for a direct hit was pointless and stupid, despite the theatrics that it would cause. If it didn't blow Brittany to smithereens it would at least get her off of the basilisk and return attention to what mattered: Reyna.

Reyna would land on the ground and once more draw the saber and ignite it. She would wait for the dust to settle before charging headlong towards Saorise should the Sith still be alive. Playing the distance fighting game seemed like a good idea earlier, but now Reyna wanted nothing more than to push Saorise's face into the mud and hold it there until she drowned in the filth.

As Zarya circled the man, the rain beating againest her hood, she scanned the man before watch his movements, watching for a hint of an attack, as she did she noticed he seemed distracted for a moment before an explosion that took out the soldiers that were about to fire on him, she followed his eyes to the Mandalorian, feeling the emotion swell in him for a second before they were pushed away by him, she smiled to herself, he cared for the Mandalorian. how quaint, she thought to herself, this was a weakness that she could use againest him.

once again the jedi proved himself to be an elusive enemy, dodging and blocking her strikes and pushing her away, once again frustrating her. it seemed to her that jedi had been running for so long that they had forgotten how to fight, she watched the jedi jump backwards onto a land pad behind him. she would have followed immediately after him if it wasn't for the air speeders now hurtling down towards her position, she threw her saberstaff at the two that would have landed on top her, the saber travel in a wide arch cutting the air speeders in half, both parting enough to allow Zarya to remain where she stood. now with the way clear she summon the force to her legs and jumped, following after the jedi to the landing pad.

"Then let's dance," she responded to his goading remark. she assumed a defensive stance, she would let him be offensive, she wished to learn more of his capabilities before once again going on the offensive.
