All missions currently underway
(Quick note: The "required" section of each mission now says how many slots have been filled for it. ALSO! In accordance with new rules, make sure to submit your mission here when you've completed it.)
The Tion Cluster hosts a group of worlds that would serve our burgeoning empire well. Sitting on the edge of Sith space, with very little chance of any help from anyone meaningful, these worlds are ripe for the taking. All we have to do is reach out and grasp them in our fist.
Lianna Missions
Lianna is an ecumenopolis (planet covered by an entire city) located along the Perlemian Trade Route. It is one of the busiest, if not the most busy, planets in the Tion Cluster. It is also home to the corporation known as Seinar Technologies, which is known for its manufacturing and sale of such things as land vehicles, starships, planetary defense systems and other weapons. The planet, and especially the corporation that makes its home there, would make a worthy addition to our resources.
Piracy is the Best Policy
Seinar Technologies is a corporation based on Lianna. It is constantly shipping vehicles, weapons, starships and just about anything else its workers and can manufacture off world to be sold to the highest bidder. Soon enough some of your Sith compatriots will be landing on the planet and entering negotiations with the corporation, letting them know in no uncertain terms what their new business arrangement will look like. Before they do that, a Seinar Technologies freighter packed full of weaponry will be departing the planet. When it comes to negotiations with fiercely independent organisations, piracy is always the best policy.
Mission Type: Non-Conflict
Mission Objectives: Board and take control of the Seinar Technologies freighter through any means necessary. Transfer its cargo from the freighter to your own ship and leave them with a message: the Sith Brotherhood are now their one and only trade partner.
Availability: Underway
Contractual Obligation
Seinar Technologies is a valuable company that produces valuable goods. The problem is those goods are sold to whoever will pay the most. That is something we will have to change. While your Sacred Band compatriots capture the goods of a Seinar Technologies freighter, you will be on Lianna, negotiating a suitable contract with their CEO. Let them know that the Sith Brotherhood will be their only customer from now on.
Mission Type: Non-Conflict
Objectives: Corporations tend to like their independence and the ability to sell their goods to whoever they choose. But they like continuing to exist even more than that. Convince them that an exclusive contract with the Sith Brotherhood is their best choice, through whatever means you feel are necessary. Be careful, though. The corporation has their own personal set of guards that may or may not attempt to intervene if your measures are too drastic for their liking.
Availability: Underway
Cadinth Missions
Cadinth is a desert planet in the Tion Cluster that is home to a wealthy port. It is a heavily industrialised world whose natural beauty was long ago destroyed by the ever-present need for more resources. Those resources will prove useful to us. Just like the rest of the Tion Cluster, it will soon fall under our influence.
Planetary Defenses? What Planetary Defenses?
Although they are not much, Cadinth’s port has some planetary defense guns in place in case of attack. They will not pose much of a threat to us should we attack, but things would be far easier if they were disabled before our attack commences. There will surely be resistance from local forces, and maybe even off-worlders that happen to be docked there, but it shouldn't be anything you can't handle, especially with your some of your compatriots working on locking down the docking bays.
Mission Type: Conflict
Objectives: Locate the control center for the planetary defense systems, hack into it and disable them. If you cannot do that, destroy the controls or the guns themselves to prevent them from being used. Defeat anyone that attempts to stop you from completing your task.
Bonus Objectives: If anyone that is not part of the local defense force attempts to intervene, discover who they are and which organisation they represent, and then report back with the information after the mission.
Availability: Underway
All Your Docking Bays Are Belong To Us
If we are to secure the sector and keep up our aura of mystery, it is important that as few people escape the planet during our capture of it as possible. Not only that, but the seizing of the docking bays will give us a convenient location to land troops if our efforts here are not enough to secure it.
Mission Type: Conflict
Objectives: Lock down the docking bays, prevent anyone from leaving and secure them for the landing of any additional troops, should they be needed. The port has its own local defense force that will undoubtedly try and stop you, and it is likely that locking down the docking bays will annoy some of the citizens on world, so be wary.
Bonus Objectives: If anyone that is not part of the local defense force attempts to intervene, discover who they are and which organisation they represent, and then report back with the information after the mission.
