The Training of Jacob Ryker

As Jacob walked into the caves, darkness overtook him. He would have to use the force. He closed his eyes and began moving again. He felt his way with the force and came to a corner filled with crystals. He found a blue one and made his way back. It had taken him a quarter of an hour.
"I have found a crystal."

"Good. Let's return to the temple."

Maotr got in the ship, waited for his apprentice to follow, and sped off.

Jacob was on the ship examining the crystal. It was blue but gave off a strange energy. He couldnt tell what it was. It must have been the force.

Maotr's ship reached the Temple. After getting off, He beckoned his apprentice to follow.

He led Jacob to a room made of pure white stone. It was cool, with a flowing fountain in the center. On the far wall was a door.

"All the parts you need are behind that door. there are many different versions of the same part. plenty of customization. now, you must build your lightsaber, and meditate to attune the crystals. come to the training room when you are finished."

Maotr left, closing the door behind him. His own master had given him very little help in constructing his lightsaber, for which he was somewhat grateful, as it allowed him to be more self reliant. However, he had been somewhat distracted by the cluttered state of the room he had worked in. Thus he took his own apprentice to a place where he hoped it would be easier, with less distractions.

Jacob looked around. He saw some obvious lightsaber parts. But he also saw some parts that must go in the middle. He sat down and closed his eyes. He had a small idea on how to build a lightsaber, but he would have to meditate. After a few minutes, his mind was clear and he began construction. He moved like a pro. At last he had a simple saber. He sat down with it and closed his eyes again. He felt for the crystals inside the lightsaber. He could see their bluish glow. Then, he heard the farmiliar hum. When he opened his eyes, the lightsaber was on. He pressed the button and it turned off. He pressed it again and it turned on. He turned it off, put it in his hilt and made toward the training room.

Maotr was meditating in the training room when his apprentice walked in. "Have you finished?" he asked. He was curious to see his padawan's design.

"Yes", replied the eager padwan, "It is a simple design, but I believe that it will be affective."

Maotr ignited it. the blade was blue. He waved it experimentally, then turned it off and tossed it to his apprentice. "It is well made. Good work! Now, is there anything else you would like to ask me or anything you would like me to teach you?"

"There is nothing more that I know to ask you", replied the padwan, "But I know I must learn more, I just dont know what it is I should be knowing."

"There is nothing necessarily that you need to know, skill wise, but here is something I will teach you. Always remember that peace is the greatest weapon."

Maotr drew his lightsaber.

"Kneel. Jacob Ryker, you are now a Jedi Knight." he very lightly touched his apprentice's shoulders with his saber.

"Rise, and go to serve the galaxy."
