United Force Hunters Coalition

Welcome fellow comrades. My name is Dean, I have traversed the great galaxy we have been fortunate enough to been given. I fight to protect it and free it from the Imperial Prosecution. Some might say we are extremists. But when faced by a war of this magnitude, we must be extreme. I am a Rebel. I am not afraid to say this nor should any of you. The Rebel Alliance is the right thing to do, no matter what anyone says, it is the right thing. However I disagree with their tactics. They fear that they are not strong enough to face off against the Imperium, and they are wrong. Their men and women are ready, their ships are ready, even their droids are ready for war. However the leaders say no. I understand their hesitation against a foe as big as the Empire, however now is not a time for hiding. If you believe as I do then we must join together and fight for our freedom!

The power to fight the Empire is not in waiting and gathering resources... the power we need to defeat them is within ourselves! We will fight until the last man if we must, but I don't want failure, for our future, failure is not an option, success and victory are the only option we face! However, The Imperium is not the only enemy we may fight. The Jedi, so called guardians of peace must perish as well as the Sith. They must all fall, every force sensitive man and woman must either stop willingly... or face the wrath of us. Jedi or Sith, there is no difference to me, nor should there be any difference to you. We fight for the Galaxy, we fight for our own freedom. The Jedi say they protect us, but I have seen no protection, only hate and death. The Sith know what they do, the Jedi do not see that they have killed the Galaxy time and time again. Anyone who believes as I do shall only ask to join, and they will be accepted with open arms.

I know I may be force sensitive, but that does not exclude me from the hatred the Jedi and Sith have imposed on us throughout the Galaxy. I may know how to control the force, but the Jedi and Sith use it in ways to manipulate it to do their bidding. If we are more structured in our teachings of the Force then we can help people to understand it. However the current force users who call themselves Jedi or Sith are no different. The Force is meant to be used to help the people... not hurt them.

Welcome to the Rebel fight Solider! You are the key to a new future without war and Tyranny. What will you do to stop the violence?


We fight for freedom from the tyrannical Empire and it's misdoings. The Rebellion is alive and well mind you, but they do so with the help of Jedi, and other assorted force related users. It is their fault that we have been thrust into this long and bloody war, their fault that everyday countless civilians die. The Sith are to blame for the rise of the Empire once more, but the Jedi have caused this time and time again. Once we can destroy both the Jedi and the Sith, our Galaxy will be peaceful once again, this way once we destroy their religions of how the force should be manipulated, and get rid of their teachings from the ever expanding Galaxy, we can for and mold the new force users into peaceful subjects, stopping the ongoing conflict that will never end if left to their own designs.

Our base is located on the lava world of Qat Chrystac, a very volatile and radioactive world, perfect for gruella based operations because of the heavy gravity and radioactive regions. Uninhabited by all, because of the extreme radiation and heat on the planet's surface. Once the sight of several battles between the Rebellion and Empire, the planet serves as a reminder that we have accomplished many things. Having a base on Qat Chrystac is a perfect reminder to the Empire that they may be powerful and overbearing, but they will never get rid of us. Qat Chrystac is just enough out of the way to where it takes a great deal of skill to locate the planet as it's not on any main hyperspace routes. Smack dab in the expansion region, near, but not to close to the Imperium the planet lies, hiding, waiting for someone to find it, and for the U.F.H.C. to pounce. The closest main hyperspace route is the Rimma Trade Route, close enough for the U.F.H.C to keep an eye on passing traffic, but still shrouded in mystery.

Our stance on the force isn't a bad one, we believe the force should be shared between everyone, our quarrel is with the Jedi and the Sith. The force is not something to be afraid of, instead it is meant to be sought after and handled with care and knowledge, not restriction like the Jedi, or unleashed like the Sith, but it is something to learn about and known by all. The force surrounds us, and is good. But the ones who use it, use it incorrectly. The Force users in this instance are not trained in the art of the Light Saber, as it is associated with both factions. However lightsabers as trophies are perfectly acceptable, though they are never to be brought onto the main base, they can be kept in your personal cabins.

RECRUITMENT:

Do you wish to join the U.F.H.C.? Well then stop your search, because it's very simple. All you need to do is list your Characters name, link to profile, what division they wish to enter into or if they wish to be in the Council, a non combatant group, or in the Divisions, combat groups, and what rank you wish to be in (ranks can be asked for but first I need to review your profile to see if you have the necessary skills to be the rank you applied for, otherwise you will be entered as a Cadet).
There is one rule to being recruited, basically the entire reason we exist... You can not be loyal to The Jedi or Sith. You may be a force user, but you cannot be specifically Jedi or Sith, there is an exception to this, you can denounce yourself from The Jedi and Sith views of the force if you are already committed to either faction.

RANKING STRUCTURE:

HEAD OF COUNCIL

The Head of Council is the complete leader, as we do not have many people right now, there is no Head of Council yet. Mainly the Head of Council reviews, collects, and files away the data, but the Head of Council can also lead his or her own select squadron of specialized fighters into battle. Head of Council is a very elegant role, and is not to be taken lightly.


COUNCIL

The brains of the U.F.H.C. They talk about strategies, who to trust, who to work with, who to trade with, who to fight with, and whom to go to war with. If you are more of a silver tonged genius, all you need to do is ask to join, and you will be reviewed for your expertise. They go to all the meetings, and make all of the trade and deals happen. Once their job is finished, the General review the outcome and adjust accordingly. You can be a Council member and a General.


GENERALS

Only a handful of General are chosen, they must but the best of the best, been through hell and back, and all other cliques you can think of. They must have the smarts, wits, strengths, and yes, weaknesses so they may be one day turned into strengths. Generals come from all different kinds of backgrounds, they ultimately choose the destiny of the Faction, but only after they experience the faction for themselves.


COMMANDERS

Commanders, they control the fleet, everything lower than them control the divisions, Commanders have the explicit job to only control the fleet, anything outside of the fleet is not in their jurisdiction. However they control the battle plans, tactics, troop movements, they are the backbone to the organization structure of the inner workings.


CAPTAINS

Captains control the divisions, at the beginning a captain will be appointed full control of a division he or she wishes to control, however you must work your way to that spot before you can control it, a select few will be automatically boosted if they have the necessary skills that require leadership, this boost will be determined by the Head of Council.

MEMBERS

The members ranking systems is it's own variety of three sub-sectors. Recruits are the lowest, next are Cadets, they train almost constantly, however they are given a lot of freedom's, depending on where they are stationed they can be ship leave, they usually train constantly on the ships of the fleet. And finally we have Graduated Cadets, they can choose what field they would like to go into permanently, and you are one step closer to becoming a Captain.
These ranks seem lower than they actually are, even a recruit has some say in what they do, and everyone is offered the freedom to roam around the base during off times.


ASSETS

CREDITS

The U.F.H.C. currently has a total of 100,000 credits at it's disposal. Small for a factions standard, however it is entirely self sufficient and sustained by it's inner workings. The current amount of credits this faction possess is enough to fund small missions abroad. However it is enough to be sustained for quite sometime. They do not gain, nor do they loose any credits.

LAND

The U.F.H.C. does not own any major part of Qat Chrystac, save for the small bit of land that their base does occupy. The U.F.H.C. does not have any trade with current factions. We hope to keep it this way until we can fully occupy and claim Qat Chrystac as our own home turf, however we will protect the planet from other intrusions from non-friendly factions.

AFFILIATES

No notable affiliates to name off. They have little to no contact with other settlements world-wide, nor do they have contact with other governments or faction galaxy-wide.



FACILITIES

The base is located on a mountain side overlooking a river of lava flowing in front of the base. This is only the landing pad and entrance to the base. There is no ground level entrance, as it has been deemed to hostile for personnel to stay on or visit the surface, instead the facility is roughly 100 meters above ground with long pillars protected by radiation shields, from the extreme heat of the lava, holding up the landing pads. The landing ports can only ever hold one shuttle, this is too limit access to the main base on ground, most of the work happens in the skies above Qat Chrystac.

Because of the volatile nature of the planet's surface, ground missions are rarely put into an order, we refrain from going on the ground as mush as possible, because there is really no need to be on the ground. Also a terrain and soil sample is taken once every 3 weeks by our trained guards and scientists. This is too make sure that the glass plateaus that cover the planets surface are not under a lot of pressure. We have been able to settle in a part of the land masses that is quite stabile so there is little to no fear about falling into the lava. If there is ever any reason to go onto the planet's surface then an environment suit is required (one will be provided).

The inner workings of the facility on the planets surface include a mess hall which can seat up to 150 people at any given time, a fully operational medical facility, complete with 10 large bacta tanks for complete submersion, as well as six Kolto restoration points, 15 medical droids and 5 doctors. The facility also has several lower levels, which includes simulations of space flight, cadet training rooms, quarters, ranges, and several storage facilities. The command center is at the top of the base which is built into the mountain, from there the leader can control every aspect of the bases defense systems. The leader can also view how the fleet in orbit is doing, or how energy level outputs are looking. In the mid section of the base are cooling vents that vent heat out into the atmosphere, because being underground in a lava planet a metal box can get quite hot, the vents help to cool off the bases interior. Because the exhaust ports such a big defensive issue when being attacked, the vents split off into a smaller system of tunnels than run on for miles and miles, plus each vent has sensors in the base, and at the end of the tunnel where the heat is vented out of. The provides for a very secure base of operations.

Each month a supply run is made, bringing in fresh perishable items, and water, however the fresh water is used for the planets that grow, other water is extracted from different sources, cleaned and filtered and then a smaller percentage is released into the air to keep the air moist, and is also used for drinking water.

Because Qat Chrystac has such a high gravity field over the planet, artificial gravity has been installed in each base resort, including the three towers that surround the perimeter. This allows for ease of access throughout the base instead of the traditional waiting period a person must do in order to set foot on the ground without falling to the floor.

A smaller base of operations is about 2 miles from the larger underground base, this smaller facility is used for mining the precious minerals and elements that Qat Chrystac gives off. This provides for most of the wealth accumulated by the faction, because they trade and sell the minerals off when they can at markets. This second base also collects it's own power. Because the cloud of smoke, ash and radiation is so heavy in the atmosphere, solar arrays cannot catch enough solar light to power the base, so it uses the intense heat from the lava to power the main electrical needs. Kind of like lighting rods, Lava Rods are stuck into the lava to catch the heat generated from the intensity, this heat power is stored, and can be recycled again and again, until new heating power is needed. This way of gathering power is also used as a secondary source of power at the main base. It saves on money and power, however the cooling vets have to work overtime because of the extra layers of heat being added to the air from the heating power.


COMMAND POST

The command post is located above the entrance, this allows for a vantage point if the base is ever breached, and allows for total control and overview of what is happening within the base.

ENTRANCE

The entrance is probably the most barren of all of the levels. It has a giant metal door, with ray shields and radiation shields on the outside to protect from the high levels of heat and radiation. Several Durasteel barricades have been set up as well as three separate entrance checkpoint portals for any number of people to enter into each one of them at the same time. An outer detox shield is installed outside of the ship once you get off of the transport shuttle you quickly enter into the shield and cleansed off, then enter into the base. The base is not designed to add comfort, but military easiness to protect the base. The walls are a simple gray color, with service ducts for clean air to enter in and out. At the end of the hall is yet again two elevators leading down and one elevator leading up.


CAFETARIA

The mess hall can sit 150 people at any given time of day. This number comes from work schedules as people working on base have similar schedules and usually eat at two different times of day. But the mess hall is open 24/7. The Cafeteria is located on the second level bellow the entrance. The mess hall is a long corridor filled with tables and chairs and a buffet line on the right side for people to get their food, then find a place to sit down. At either end of the mess hall are elevators. The entrance has two elevators. Both going up to the entrance, or down to the lower levels. At the opposite end of the mess hall is two more elevators with the same purpose. This allows for ease of access between levels so the elevators do not get overly crowded.


MEDICAL FACILITY

The Med-bay comes complete with ten bacta tanks, as those are the standard for medical facilities, six Kolto restoration points, 15 medical droids and 5 on duty doctors. Physicals are taken once every 8 months, unless a problem occurs within that allotted time. The Med-Bay is located on the third level bellow the entrance. The med-bay is a smaller corridor, a grayish bluish color illuminates the room as well as the fluorescent lights. Two elevators are positioned in the front, both leading up or down.


TRAINING FLOOR

The training rooms include a firing range, to keep the rust off your sights, or to learn how to handle a blaster. These are perfect training facilities if you would like to advance in rank or show off what you've learned. The training floor also comes with a simulator pod. A total of 25 simulator pods for the H.E.S.P's and another 30 for Starfighters. The training rooms are down on the fourth level below the med-bay. Each area is connected, the entrance to the training floor has four elevators, two that can go up and down and two that can only go down. The training rooms are only open during the day time hours, no night training is allowed, unless there is a specific reason to be given.

QUARTERS

The Quarters of the Members are on this level, they are closest to the training rooms so they will always be able to train. They are bigger than most other beginners quarters, we like to show that our men and women have freedoms, and a personalized room is perfect for showing that. Each room has a capacity of two occupants, however this does not mean that there will always be two occupants in every room. The set up is a large circular pattern, a corridor circles around a large and wide pillar that houses the elevators, two elevators are on one side, both leading down, and on the opposite end of those elevators are two more elevators that lead up. The quarters have about 50 rooms, plus a sub section connected by a staircase that leads down, this level is known as 5.2, while the main level is known as 5.1, in accordance to the levels.

On the below level, level six, are the officers quarters. The same basic design of the rooms, except larger and only occupants are one per room. The quarters on this level are also limited to show to selection of the officers to about 25 rooms, these rooms are only for main base operators as most officers control the fleet and are always on mission.

WAREHOUSE

The Supply warehouse is many things, it includes the supplies for the entire base, food, water, air, etc. And on a lower level include a library like room that houses the data collected and received by the faction. It also stores in another room several spare parts like scrap and repairable items incase the base ever needs to be fixed in a pinch. The library room is also the meeting place of the Council, here they discuss current issues, whether or not a target is important enough to attack or defend and other things of that nature. The Warehouse is also a rec-room for soldiers or members to sit down, check through new important data about the faction, new missions, and also a point of socialization between the members. If your not training your either on leave on another, more hospitable planet, on a ship orbiting the planet, or in the rec-room.

DEFENSES

Sensors make up a large portion of the defenses, as most of the base is underground and personnel is not allowed on the surface of Qat Chrystac, to prevent from unnecessary loss of life, save for the trained Hostile Environment Speeder Pilots or H.E.S.P's for short. Sensors include ground scanners which are planted into the ground which detect a perimeter of around 50 meters from entrance to base, to ground sensors, to out of ground sensors. The base also relies on aerial sensors, however this form is not stationary, instead it takes the form of close to 45 probe droids constantly patrolling the area above the base, sending and receiving signals, and constantly monitoring radio and visual wave lengths.

Three small towers have been constructed, and placed in a triangular fashion around the base, allowing for each post to view a complete 180 from post to post, and 360 degrees in all directions. The tower is only designed for two people at a time, a highly trained sniper, and a radio dispatcher to call back to base if they see anything or have any trouble. These towers may be good at constantly spotting threats to the base. The towers themselves are protected by radiation shields, protecting the inhabitants inside from boiling to death. There are two shifts per day, once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. Each shift is sent via shuttle from main base, or from tower to main base. Tower names include 01, 02, and 03.

Ground turrets with a complete 360 degree angle in all directions with a rotation are also on the perimeter. The a large hexagon platform with a spherical dip in the middle of it with the turret sitting in the dip. There are a total of five of these ground turrets, evenly spread out within the perimeter. The turrets are remotely controlled, five designated turret operators constantly control these, although they don't always move them around, the turrets have sensors which pick up the landscape and enemy soldiers if there are ever any.

DIVISIONS

Because Qat Chrystac was once under the control of both Alliance and Imperial powers, many droid manufacturing facilities have been uncovered in the previous months of setting up the bases and other destroyed command posts have been found adding to the security, structure and knowledge of Qat Chrystac. Much of the old droid, and planetary knowledge and technology have been archived, but some advanced and still intact technology has been assimilated into the core of the fighting force. Yes, droids are being used as the bulk of the fighting force, as we believe it is too harsh to risk a loyal soldier on the surface. Have no fear, the droids only operate within our control and territory of the bases outer defenses. Droids constantly patrol the surrounding grounds, and are only ever given the right to shoot from a commanding officer. The point of the droids, more than anything, are to scare off any unwanted visitors to Qat Chrystac.



HOSTILE ENVIROMENT SPEEDER PILOTS
H.E.S.P's

Only the most daring speeder pilots we have qualify for these positions. Constant simulator practice must be kept up at all times, our simulators are specially designed for our speeders and terrain types. You must be willing to go as fast as you can and to push the speeder to the breaking point, you must be willing to forget all panic and fear in order to fully master the high speeds at which they run. This section is for any aspiring speeder pilots. Once you master these courses and are accepted into the ranks of the H.E.S.P's, you will be promoted to Captain, if you are not already, or have a hirer rank, and will be given clearance to any part of the base. These speeder pilots are the best of the best and are not to be trifled with. They also experience a fair amount of hand-to-hand combat as they are expected to go mission almost entirely alone most of the time, they are truly elites.



HEAVY BULK TROOPERS
H.B.T

The Heavy Bulk Troopers make up a resounding percentage of the military force. We pride ourselves on air and speed resources, however we also include the actual assault troopers, these men and women can be considered the Marines of our forces. They are called Bulk Troopers because they carry everything, from rockets, to weapons, to ammo, and toilet paper in bulk, as they may be gone from any safe haven for awhile, they must carry everything in Bulk. Their armor is especially gifted as it can withstand the extreme heat from the Qat Chrystac atmosphere for up to 15 consecutive hours without the wearer feeling the effects of the heat. However the armor they wear is not the only thing that is to be looked at. Because they are Bulk troopers they handle everything having to do with Tanks, heavy artillery and the like.



STARFIGHTERS

Starfighters, so named because it is a general term, make up the navy's soldiers, pilots, bombers, fighters, etc. They fly new aged technology which the scientists in the U.F.H.C. on Qat Chrystac have designed themselves, they command the corvettes and the bulk of the navy. Starfighters also include soldiers that protect larger ships from boarding parties, they are also the first line of defense in any war, or battle, as they are the first on scene. They are combat hardened and specialize in assault, infantry and close quarters combat. True these may be average soldiers, but when faced with overwhelming odds, you want these men and women behind you every step of the way.



MILITARY POLICE

Very uncommon to see in an organization of so called extremists, however the U.F.H.C. is very keen on keeping the faction orderly and neat. Military police may have the roughest job out of all of them, as the faction may sometimes employ mercenaries, we want to retain the image that anyone and everyone we hire will work the cleanest, fastest, and most complete way there is. Each mission a group goes on, that is outside of our quadrants are required to have a certified MP with them, not just to check up on them, but also for support as MP's are often trained by veterans of the Special Unit's squadron, or the H.E.S.P's. The Military Police is not a glamorous job, but in order to keep a good appearance to the people of the Galaxy, they are a necessity. Military Police do not have to be veterans from The Special Units Squadron, or the H.E.S.P's, they can be recruits or above, but they are trained by the best because of their strenuous jobs. Going on missions with Mercenaries is only one of their jobs also, most of the time, they stay within the fleet, and are not typically seen outside of our controlled space. As we try to keep jobs within our own faction, it is rare to see an MP going on a mission with Mercenaries.

(if a PC is not available as an MP, then with permission from faction admin another PC can do an NPC role as the military police officer)



SPECIAL UNITS SQUADRON

The Special Units squadron are truly the best of the best in any combat scenario. True the H.E.S.P's are the best of the best pilots, but the Special Units Squadron is the best of the best tacitly. If you would like to sign up for this, you must first pass a series of tests, or show that you have the aptitude to be in the Special Units. When things looks rough, the S.U.S's are called in to save the day, they are the ghosts, the shadows, the night crawlers. They are truly invincible. And whenever a Jedi or Sith is met, they are the first ones on the scene. They can be deployed anytime anywhere. When they are back at base resting there free time is either used on small hit and run missions to keep their aim good and true, or either in the simulators or scouting range to learn new things.
The Special Units Squadron is also home to most of the factions Force users. This is figured out by a simple saying, "fight fire with fire." The thinking is if we can help those who poses the gifts the force has bestowed upon, then we can fight back against the Jedi and Sith who use the force incorrectly. The Force users in this instance are not trained in the art of the Light Saber, as it is associated with both factions.

True, he does say anyone can take over his works, but wouldn't it be proper for the new leader to post the thread? And yes... it does say may be back.
I could just be wrong.
