The ways of the bogan(Deakr Cueve's training)

[Count Sam]

Tahn sat in his quarters awaiting his new student. If his information was right then this Alaskan acolyte should be showing up at any minute. However Tahn was not wasting his time waiting. Tahn was actually meditating. Yeah he was letting his anger, and hate consume him more, and more. He was cold. Yes cold with nothing to flame him except his strong emotions. They were probably the things that were keeping him alive. Just like oxygen. He hoped that this Alsakan was strong enough to take the challenges he had for him.

 

[Gabora]

Deakr entered the room with his hood up over his head. The only thing visible was his glowing yellow eyes. He could sense hate and anger, not directed to anything but just for the sake of hating. Could this be a bad time? he thought to himself, I don't want all that directed at me.
He put his hood down reveling his face and took a seat. Deakr said "I have been having a hard time meditating lately."

 

[Count Sam]

"hm...having hard time during meditating would be the least thing you would worry about actually" Tahn said as he gave out a slight laugh. A laugh of mock, and hate.

"So tell me what did Rish teach you?"

 

[Gabora]

"Not much" Deakr answered.
He then started to giggle and said "He did teach me how long it I could stay in the cold."
Deakr then got serous and then relaxed himself.

 

[Count Sam]

"hmm interesting... so tell me what do you know about our code, and history?"

 

[Gabora]

"No peace, only suffering. No knowledge, only instinct. No serenity, only passion. No harmony, only chaos. No life, only death." He said, showing that he has it memorized. "I know what all that means."
Deakr couldn't read, watch the holonet, or see holograms on the fact that he couldn't see the way others could so all he could do was practice the code.
"I know enough of the history. When someone yells it at you, you don't forget it."

 

[Count Sam]

"hmm so is that all what you know about the code?" Tahn spoke in a mocking tone to the Alsakan.

"I want you to tell me what does every line mean. After all this is the code that you will follow through out your life"

 

[Gabora]

"This is exactly what I learned ' Line 1,All life is suffering. Until you accept this fact, you will never understand anything. Accept the suffering your life will bring. Allow it to motivate you, anger you. Line 2, If the Jedi have been plagued by one thing since their creation it has been indecisiveness. They fail to react. They only want to contemplate. When it is time to act the Jedi only want to mediate in their ivory towers. We demand you to act swiftly, not wait on guidance from the Force. Failure to react is a failure to act. Do what you know is right. Line 3, The dogmatic Jedi would have you believe you can become content, serene, but we know this is a lie. We creatures are not above the need for emotion, for passion. Instead of repression, we only ask that you use your emotions to fuel your power, to guide you. Line 4, There is no will of the Force. The universe is chaos. Life is made of random actions that create who we are. Beings cannot be harmonious with one another because they are, in essence, animalistic creatures driven by instinct. Do not avoid this. Use chaos to further your aims and your powers, for chaos brings darkness to existence. Line 5, Death is all around us. It is a part of everything, as everything dies. Denying this is denying the meaning of ourselves and the truth to existence: there is no life. We are fleeting creatures in a universe as meaningless as an unused plow. Whatever we are, whatever our meaning, we imbue it; there is no cosmic plan. Either live well or die swift; do not contemplate the afterlife, for that gives way to stagnation. Instead, use your power to its fullest, for there is no reward waiting for those pure of heart.'" Deakr explained. this is exactly what he heard, word for word. He had a good memory.

 

[Count Sam]

"hmm.. good. It seems that you have learned your lessons well" Tahn spoke in an unfriendly tone as he looked at his apprentice right through the eyes.

"now I want you to sit down, and meditate. Try to clear your mind of every thing that was good in your life. I want you to use your strong emotions. In other words I want you to remember all the bad things that happened in your life, and also i want you to remember those who hurted you"

 

[Gabora]

"If you want to get me angry, your wasting your time. Angers is meaningless, happiness is meaningless, emotions in themselves are meaningless." This is what he truly believed. During his work in the Alsakan military Deakr, at one point, shut down his emotions To protect his sanity from all the death and destruction.

 

[Count Sam]

"shut up you weakling" Tahn has almost reached his limits now. Yeah this fool was just sounding like a pathetic jedi who avoides strong emotions."you will sit down, and you will meditate" he shouted out in his apprentice's face"and if you said that sentence again I will crush your throat" Tahn added. yeah even tho Tahn did not trust this alsakan anymore, but it was a sure thing that he was going to be loyal after he let the dark side consume him.

 

[Gabora]

After Tahn said his first sentence, Deakr felt something he hadn't felt in 15 years. Anger. "Don't call me weak. I have seen things, done things, that would drive a normal sentient mad"
He wasn't weak, he was just scared. Scared at what he saw and what he didn't want to see again. "If you know what's good for you. You wont say that again!"

 

[Count Sam]

Tahn laughed out loud. His laugh was a mocking one. It was laugh full of hate, and anger.

"bring it on then weakling" Tahn shouted out as he sent a bolt of force lightning from his right hand toward his apprentice.

 

[Gabora]

Deakr dodged the lightning by using force speed. He sprinted to the right and stopped to ignited his blue lightsaber. "If you wish" He said without emotion.
He then ran up a wall and jumped from it toward Tahn about to swing.

 

[Count Sam]

Tah simply moved a little bit to the rightside avoiding the lightsaber that was coming toward him. It seems that this Alsakan knew a thing, or two about fighting, but well challenging Tahn was probably the biggest mistake he ever did. After all Tahn was a capable crusader who was training to be an instructor.

Fastly Tahn activated his lightsaber, and swung it toward the alsakan his. This attack was followed by a bolt of force lightning that was coming from Tahn's left hand.

 

[Gabora]

In a simultaneous motion, Deakr bent his knees so his body was in a horizontal position and ignited his red lightsaber."I've seen that move before."
His head was on the ground as well as his feet and he swung his two lightsabers toward Tahn's torso. All wile having a blank expression on his face.

 

[Count Sam]

Tahn jumped using force jump. He then landed just behind his apprentice."oh really so did you see this one" Tahn said as he aimed an upper cut slash toward his apprentice who was now down to knee level.

 

[Gabora]

Deakr moved his back in a backwards arch. He then bent his entire body along with the motion of the lightsaber, till he was perfectly vertical. "Didn't have too. To simple." he explained
Deakr then turned his lightsabers off and asked "I feel better, do you?"

 

[Count Sam]

"you are still not using your anger. You might be a little bit fast, but still you got too much to learn" Tahn spoke as he simply deactivated his lightsaber.

"you need to use your strong emotions otherwise you will get killed here" Tahn spoke, and he was dead serious about it.He now had to wait for his apprentice to draw his strong emotions. It was only hard to do that for the first time, but as soon as a person let his strong emotions consume him. He becomes a servant of the darkside.

 

[Gabora]

Deakr thought about what Tahn said. Ever since his many battles in the last war he had a new look on life then before. Now he was getting a newer one then that. It was hard for him to do that because that meant changing the way he thought about things. He needed to start feeling emotions again and Deakr didn't know if he could keep his sanity if that happened. He needed more time to cope with the trauma.
Deakr then remembered something. He turned around and asked "How old do I look to you?"
Deakr we about 55 years old but looked and acted like a 16 year old human. He knew Tahn was about 17 so he figured they could get along well enough.
