(The Following duel is Canon and is a simple duel of skill. No Death or Maiming.)

Korriban...

It wasn't far from the Temple...Ari could see the massive fortress loom over him like Fate as he attempted to meditate. the cold and dry air of Korriban kissing his skin made it hard for him not to get up and pace like he usually did. He was impatient like usuall, he had spent almost a month now, searching the temple of a Sith Warrior worthy enough for him to call "Master"...None he believed fit that bill came and those he saw potential only disappointed him. It had been only a month since his intital master had perished in a rockslide and he was now frustrated that he could do nothing but stand around waiting for someone to just waltz up and take him on as an apprentice...

 

[Pirostyle]

A low rumble could be heard every now and then, like something heavy hitting the ground. In the distance, a large boulder could be seen flying towards the side of a mountain. Several fair sized lizard-things were running for their lives it seemed. The large boulder levitated from the side of the mountain and crashed down again on top of one of the creatures.

A figure in the distance, with an odd droid following behind, eventually came into focus. They were obviously the one smashing the lizards for what seemed like fun. The figured continued to walk in the direction of the sparring area, looking like a woman. The droid that followed was an odd mix of sentinel and B1 battle droid parts. The woman paid no attention to Ari at first, only interested in smashing the lizard beasts.

 

[Kenico]

Ari attempted to mediate, but the excessive smashing of the Lizards was starting to get to him. He opened his eyes to see a young girl with a ridiculous looking droid walking a few feet from him...He gritted his teeth and growled...

"I don't suppose you can end that racket?!"

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana returns the man's look with a glare. "I will... once all these annoying lizards are dead. Why, am I bothering your jedi meditation?" She emphasized the word with a smug grin.

 

[Kenico]

Rage was the only thing that built up in Ari...To be Called by the name of those Heathens was the equivalent to calling a Mandalorian Coward in Mand'oa. He looked her down and growled even more. His Bluish Gray hair shrowded his eyes, His anger was immense...

"You want to run that by me again...Slime!"

His hands were slowly sliding up his back, readying to grab his weapons...

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana was annoying him purely for fun at this point. It was amusing to see him get so worked up that quickly. She kept a hand on her saber just in case, before smiling slightly and taunting him again. "Wow, you must be a Jedi, your hearing seems to be on the light side."

The droid backs away and runs to hide behind a wall.

 

[Kenico]

The Tonfa style lightsabers slid into Ari's hands from the scabbards on his back...He stood with his legs spred at even while he gripped the Tonfas tightly...He ignited his blades as his face faded from Anger to calm...

"you have a sense of humor...something inefficient for a Sith...You must be one of those converts..."

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana drew her single saber with a button press and faced down the angry sith. "I'm a sith, that's the only thing I 'must' be." She takes on a defensive stance and stays where she is.

 

[Kenico]

Ari Twirled his Tonfas in a configuration to create a wall of energy. He began to slowly advance on his opponent...

"A True sith has no emotion, but uses emotions to gain power...You allow your emotions to control you..."

Ari brought both blades down onto his opponent...

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana leaned to the side and held her saber above her head, tilting it down towards the ground so that hopefully the downward blow would glance off. "That inner peace thing is crap, emotions are everything."

 

[Kenico]

Ari's blades hit the Blade of his opponent, the Young woman was holding her own...but Ari wasn't impressed just yet...

"I never said any such thing...Do not let them control you...but when the time comes..."

Ari lifts his blades and kicks her in the Chest, sending her flying, He then switches grips on one of his tonfas holding hit normally with the secondary handle acting like a guard. He then tensed his muscels and prepared to charge...

"Unleash everything you have!"

Ari charged with everything he had, slamming his sabers full boar at his opponent...

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana takes the hit square in the chest. After a moment she uses the momentum to start a backflip, and then force jumped from the ground to dodge the attack. She attempted to launch herself high into the air for some breathing room in the fight.

 

[Kenico]

Ari growled, his Force Powers were not that good, and he could not persue. He simply backed off and took another readying stance again.

"So the little rabbit cant fight without jumping...as expected!"

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana floated through the air a bit before flying back towards the ground. She used a force push into the ground just as she was landing, in an attempt to create a cloud of dust and sand to hide in. A small chuckle comes from the cloud.

"Yes, well this rabbit does more than jump."

 

[Kenico]

Ari grinned as the Cloud of Dust rose...He extinguished his weapons and disappeared into the cloud...

"Bad Move..."

Ari made maneuvers and waited for his opponent to make a move...

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana held her saber in one hand and started to charge up for another force-like attack. She took a wild guess, and force pushed behind her, blowing away a good portion of the dust cloud and hoping her gamble paid off.

 

[Kenico]

The push revealed nothing but only the sound of lightsabers igniting in the opposite direction of the Force Push...Ari Grinned wildly as he brought his sabers down over his head...

 

[Pirostyle]

Liliana tensed up as she heard the sabers ignite. In a quick moment of fear and instinct, she used her force speed to slow down her perception. She sluggishly attempted to drop down just to get away from the saber attack. Her body sunk to the ground and rolled just barely in time to avoid being cleaved in three.

She rolled away a good distance before standing back up. The rocks had left a nick or two in her arms, and the force speed had left her a bit breathless with fatigue. She steadied herself and kept an eye on Ari.

 

[Kenico]

"Impressive..."

Ari jumped a bit in the air and did a falling avalanche. The Girl jumped again out of the way. Ari stood carefully up and turned towards his opponent. He looked at his opponent and pointed his blades at her...

"Most impressive..."

He extinguished his Sabers and sheathed them. He then swiped his left leg across himself, drawing a hemicirular line in front of Ari. he then placed his hand on a third Lightsaber and closed his eyes. He had a serene look about him the moment he placed his hands on the weapon...

Liliana's smile had vanished. She was mad that she had to roll away to avoid an attack. After brushing the rocks and dust off her scratched arms, she took up her defensive stance again and prepared for whatever Ari was getting ready for.
