Eden Apocrypha, Apprentice to The Witch
The Witch of Endor
Nineteen years ago, I was born on Tatooine to a warlord and an Ospion Guardian. They hid their relationship to everyone, which I'm surprised was never discovered. Neither could be called 'good parents'. My father was always busy with his work and my mother was never there, always off on some other planet.
This was my life for nine years. My mother occassionally visited. She used that time to teach me the basics of the Force. I managed to grasp Force Persuasion and Telekinesis.
When I was ten, my mother died. She had gone against a Jedi duo that had been hunting her and fellow Ospion Guardians and lost. My mother's partner delivered her lightsaber to me, along with her ashes.
My father never got over the loss of his wife, though he rarely spent time with her and always had some mistress or another. I was relieved when the Hutts executed my father when I was fourteen.
With the loss of my father, I decided to leave Tatooine. There was nothing left for me. The Hutts had liquidated my father's assests, except a few I managed to smuggle with me, including the deed to a Dune Sea compound and a Ruusian estate. While the Tatooine compound was more suffisticated, having it's own enclosed nature preserve and outdoor network of moisture vaporators.
I explored the Ruusian estate, finding it not so grand. I sold it, making a nice profit. I used that money to buy myself a Valentine-class medium transport called the Desert Snail. By adding in accomodations, I transformed the cargo hold into an apartment, leaving myself with a mobile home.
Four about a year I explored the galaxy, hopping from planet to planet. Probably the most influential visit during that year was when I travelled to Endor. There I met the eccentric Witch of Endor. A Lamia and former Jedi, she showed me the ways of the Force that my Ruusianan mother never got around to.
Like her master, Gin Akatsuki, before her, she taught me near off the bat the ability Dopplegänger. It was a challenge to master, taking me about three years to master. Once I had completed those three years, I could create a perfect illusion of myself, experiencing the senses that mirage felt.
The Witch of Endor taught me several things, from combat to the Force to philosophy. One of my favorite topics was of prophecies. It baffled me that it was possible to predict, though vaguely, events that would happen in the future, sometimes milleniums in advance. Though she could use Farsight, she did not have the gift of Force Vision.
For the next year, The Witch of Endor and I trained and explored ruins of past civilizations, mainly over Force using sects. All of this was to prepare me to eventually take her title as The Witch of Endor. I felt this could never end.
But it did. On a trip to Tatooine, the Witch and I were ambushed by a group of Dark Jedi known as the Second Order of Lettow, otherwise known as the Order of Xendor. My master fought them but was slain, making me the new Witch of Endor. I ran into the Dune Sea where I found an eccentric old man...
That was when we went to the Ruins of Kaleth...
