Kara watched as Zekk was passed through the security checkpoint, and she followed along shortly after. They had lost sight of the Quarren they had been following, but the Jedi watched as her counterpart closed his eyes and then seemed to know which direction to go. "He just used the force to help him find out which way that Quarren went..." Kara thought silently to herself as she didn't question and continued to follow.

The two entered a loading bay on the right side of the port, where a medium sized freighter was located in front of them. Kara heard a few sounds, then watched as Zekk pulled out a blaster and slowly moved forward. The Jedi remained cautious and didn't move, not entirely sure if she was willing to be a part of whatever conflict could about to transpire.

Zekk's first step caused more motion from the ship. His eyes watched as the loading ramp began to lower from its raised position. Quirking a brow at what was happening he couldn't help but wonder why exactly it was closed if the Quarren was leaving so quickly. Taking two quick steps to his right he used the framework of the ship to hide his body from anyone that may exit. After a few seconds of nothing his feet rounded him around the hull of the ship only to take in an empty entrance, the darkness within letting off a tantalizing invitation.

His gaze went from the entry to Kara who still managed to linger back despite everything. Raising his hands as if to signal her in question he hoped for a response, or for her to come to his position. Whatever her choice he began a crouched move to the ramp, his first step coming down silently.

------------------

P'or managed to find the screen in question and hit a few commands and the ship gave a second jolt, this time the vehicle letting out a loud whine before screeching. The middle aged thug's eyes shot wide as he again began hammering keys within the screen and various lights as well as sounds began to fill the ship. Cursing outwardly his anger was echoing through the ship, his confusion more than apparent in the environment he was displaying.

-----------------

Creeping up the ramp as he entered the bay of the ship he could hear the sounds of frustration and anger almost madness echoing through the hallways. Giving a glance back he again hoped to see Kayla, but his gut was telling him she had bailed. Reaching to his left hip his hand took hold of a second blaster and he would begin the slow trek towards the sounds, somewhere towards the front of the freighter.

Kara watched as Zekk made his way further into the ship, and he looked back to see if she would be following him. Sighing, she mirrored his previous movements to follow him into the ship. The Jedi figured she might as well be present to prevent her counterpart from doing something stupid.

The Quarren they had been following hadn't actually done anything wrong, yet Zekk seemed to be ready to go at him with his blaster ready. Kara responded to Zekk's questioning gesture with one that read, "What exactly are you doing?"

His body relaxed once inside the ship, it was almost like the comfort of home whenever he was on one. Stepping gracefully through the hall of the ship the Quarren's frustrations continued to echo; only now much louder, due to the proximity. It was Kara's voice that would stop his movement and cause him to give a glance back, somewhat surprised she decided to join in so late. Flashing the woman his smile he held it while stepping deeper into the vessel.

"P'or here, might owe me a debt..."

His voice was hushed as he stepped backwards to face his companion.

"..his shipmates didn't want to pay it for him. So they sent him here, so we could talk."

His eyes narrowed on the woman to test her reaction to his comment. He didn't quite know yet how the Quarren's life would end. Only that it very well could on this ship, in the next few minutes if things did not work out. It was the stranger in front of him now that was testing him, and he was returning the favor as those gentle footsteps came to a halt. Loosening his grip if only for a moment the grasp quickly firmed and each of the barrels found their way to Kara's direction.

"What'd ya say, care to help?"

Kara deadpanned at Zekk's explanation of 'he owes me money.' She had apparently wrongly assumed that they were following the Quarren to see if he was up to any trouble or nonsense, not paying back a pilot his debt. Even if this strange pilot was a force wielder, which he obviously was not aware of, Kara was seriously considering if this was a waste of her time or not.

She watched as he moved his blasters and then approached her. "Doesn't seem like your going to talk." she replied, gesturing to the firearms in his hands

Jerking his head in the direction of the sounds P'or was making over not finding the obviously fake file. Zekk's eyes pointed down at his guns, which slowly lowered.

"..you think he's going to want to talk?"

He'd begin to backpedal his voice still a whisper underneath the Quarren's shouts of frustration.

"He's no value to me dead, if that means anything to you." Lazily he pointed one of the pistols at the exit after his arm would drop limp at his side.

"Or you can get outta here. Just be quiet if you do."

-----------------------------------

P'or would drive his fist hard into the console causing sparks to erupt from its 'life' source. The ships response was fall dark, the red emergency lights igniting the path and rooms at the floors now, but only every few feet casting dark shadows at various pockets within the ship. That loading ramp would again wind, only this time up as the ship began locking itself down. A loud slam would echo through the ship as the ramp closed and locked itself. The Quarren would cross his arms and bellow out one native curse before dropping back into a chair the ship finally falling silent if only for a few moments.

"How am I supposed to know?" Kara responded to Zekk's question. "You're the one who said you were going to talk to him?" She added, sounding only slightly confused. At this point the Jedi had to weigh her options before proceeding. Was this rather strange force sensitive pilot part of the reason she was meant to be on the dusty planet? Her thinking was interrupted when the lights went dark on the ship and she heard the closing of the landing hatch. It appeared her decision had been made for her.

"Some people out here require a bit more... Persuasion to be talked to."

As his words came to a close the ship fell silent and he couldn't have helped but feel that it was perfect timing. Taking in a deep breath he proceeded just as slowly as he did cautiously. Coming to the opening of the room which he last heard P'or, Zekk would quickly step in and duck behind a navigation console which acted as perfect cover for the time. Giving a peek over the device he was able to see the back of the Quarren's head in the chair which caused the spacer to slowly rise to his feet both weapons drawn.

"P'or... fancy running into you here."

----------------------------------------

P'or heard the click of a heavy pistol followed by the mimicked sound of a second. Swallowing the spit that had formed in his throat he spun in the chair and looked at the familiar voice, not expecting to run into Zekk Coron; but now it all made sense. Keeping his hands raised the Quarren's eyes searched the dark room for any sign of an out, but even he knew the only way was through the very door Zekk entered from.

[Huttese] "Zekk! I was actually just looking for you.." [Huttese]

----------------------------------------

Using the pistol in his right hand to point to an open area against the wall he flicked his wrists as if to tell the alien to move there. As he motioned P'or got up ever slowly and moved until his back was against the wall. Zekk meanwhile looked him up and down for any weapons, but none were there on his outside person. It was what was underneath that he had to worry about. Looking to Kara he offered the woman a smile.

"Care to search him?"

[Huttese] "Search me?! Coron, even you know I'm more trustworthy than that!" [Huttese]

Shooting the gang member a glance that all but tore through his lie he shook his head.

[Huttese] "-right, P'or. Right.." [Huttese]

Kara watched as Zekk proceeded into the main cockpit of the ship where the Quarren was located. The ships power outage had given him the opportunity to get closer yet the Jedi remained where she was until Zekk could be headed conversing with P'or in Huttese. Kara both spoke and understood the language, but wasn't going to let either of the two in front of her know.

When Zekk asked if she would search the Quarren, Kara was a little surprised at his offer. What did she look like? His henchperson?

"No" was her short response.

The spacer's brow furrowed and he gave Kara a glance that would pierce through her, even if she dared not admit to feeling it. Slowly bringing his gaze back to the Quarren which chuckled at the twos exchange it only brought Zekk to a small laugh of his own. Taking a step closer to P'or and one further from Kara his laugh trailed off into a long frown. A whisper escaping his lips which brought the Quarren's laugh to an immediate halt.

"-...sorry, Pal."

The blaster within his left hand rang out with a screech into the thug's right kneecap and the sizzle of the alien flesh gave the room an even eerier tone. It'd only take a moment for the smell to facilitate the room. It caused Zekk to bring his elbow to his nose, the blaster within his hand waving the stench away.

"Peeeeeeeeeee'or!"

Zekk dragged out the P on the alien's name as if to mimic the sound children make, before finishing with his name over the creatures screams and shouts of pain. Squatting down next to the thug his hands searched over P'ors body. In all he found 2 hold out blasters and a throwing knife slid up the right sleeve. Tossing the weapons aside he dragged the Quarren to the wall and propped him up so P'or was sitting.

Zekk shuffled closer to P'or, his own left knee hovering now just above the Quarren's own damaged ligament. Moving to a knee he pressed the full weight of himself down on the injury before letting up and leaning in close to the alien.

[Huttese] "Where are they?" [Huttese]

P'or screamed out in pain between the torturous pressure being applied by the human. When he was finally given a break his hand shakily pointed to a datapad amidst the pile of goodies that had been extracted from him.

[Huttese] "There! *coughing* You must.. fix my leg!" [Huttese]

Kara scoffed internally after Zekk had looked at her disapprovingly. Surely he couldn't have been surprised that she refused his offer? This little adventure she had reluctantly accepted to go on was becoming increasingly tedious, as Kara sighed watching the Zekk extract the necessary information from P'or.

Zekk got to his feet and turned to face P'or. The Quarren wasn't much more than a member of one of the system's biggest nuisances, and his existence would only better the sector. Holstering the pistol on his right hand to his hip Zekk's gaze went from the loud prisoner in front of himself to the strange woman to his right. The left pistol would level at the alien's head as Zekk's eyes looked squarely into Kara's.

"What do you think..?"

P'or was staring down the barrel of the heavy blaster, his breath had been held in place for longer than even he thought he could hold it. Somehow managing to keep his hands at his sides the Quarren's gaze didn't leave the death he was trying to stare down. Zekk meanwhile brought his right hand over to his left forearm and began tapping into the attachment on his arm. The ship would fall dark as the center table began to glow with information. A holovid would begin to project onto the small platform showcasing an array of cages with various alien creatures captured within; slaves.

"P'or's crews specialty believe it or not. They don't stick around long in the port, just long enough to numb the pain."

Turning his gaze directly down the sightline his own vision finally met P'or's. Zekk held his own breath, letting the pistol settle in place as he awaited an answer from Kara.

Kara folded her arms watching Zekk. What was he expecting her to do? Be his moral compass? "What you do with him is up to you" she replied, walking towards the corridor. The Jedi had become more concerned with the beings who were being kept in the lower area of the ship.

Walking out of the room, Kara didn't bother telling Zekk where she was going, as he could probably guess.

The sound of the blaster echoed through the ship with a harshness as the life of P'or was extinguished. Like the flame of a candle his being flickered away before finally extinguishing. Zekk made sure to look the Quarren in the face when he took the shot and as quickly as the shot was taken the blaster was holstered. Looking back to Kara his eyes widened when she wasn't there. Cursing internally he knew just where she was headed and walked over the console P'or had nearly made inoperable. Kneeling next to the console he plugged his wrist attachment into the device and began typing away on the small attachment.

His eyes would take in a rather large cargobay that housed almost a dozen small to medium sized wookiees. Each one looked in poorer shape than the last, but all were held in a one community cell. The only way in or out of the cell was through a prison grade force field that glowed a dark red. Hammering in a few quick commands the shield would drop and the camera feed would show him the Wookiees looking in confusion at what had happened. Each of them seemed too weak or drugged to get up themselves and walk to freedom. Instead they would sit or lay in a group talking to one another about what was happening. Meanwhile Zekk clicked through the camera feeds trying to see where it was his new friend had gone to..
