Cardinal sat at his desk. He was borderline mad. He was rarely mad, but when he was mad, it was as obvious he was mad, as clear as those beer bottles at the Dusty Dewback, one of Cardinal's favorite cantinas. Cardinal was going to hang one of his lightsabers on the wall behind when he got a call from downstairs. Rarely did he get calls from downstairs. Cardinal frowned and put the saber on a plaque hanging on the wall. "Sir, Mr. Tibur is here to see you" Cardinal smiled, "Yes, let him up please, thank you." Cardinal looked up at the saber, admiring its beauty. He remembered how he acquired that one, well actually two from a sith who had attempted to disrupt a meeting between Exchange Council Member Norbaa'l and some Mandalorian. Cardinal greatly missed the big slob, however disgusting he was, he was a great business partner and great contribution to the Exchange.

Cardinal wondered if Oslin Tibur remembered about Norbaa'l. Oslin, after all, was the Exchange boss, and
the guy that gave Norbaa'l that position. Oslin walked in, and Cardinal turned to face him, "Ah good timing Mr. Tibur. Have a seat if you will good sir." Cardinal gestured to the seat in front of his desk. "I am sorry if I seem a bit gloomy, I was just remembering the deceased Exchange councilmember, Norbaa'l Fanth. Surely you remember him. Yes?

Olin strolled into the room with the grace of an Outer Rim spacer, acting like he had never been in any establishment fancier than a cantina. He took a moment to look around as he entered, his helmet still on his face and not budging.

"That I do," he replied, taking a seat across from Cardinal. "A great shame, what happened to our friend Nor'baal." He was speaking with genuine melancholy—sure, he'd killed the slug, but that didn't mean he felt bad about it. Nor'baal had been his first friend in a world of enemies, and he'd been forced to dispose of him at a moment's notice. Then again, that had earned him the trust of the Emperor, which he supposed was a silver lining.

He was here to negotiate an alliance with Cardinal, for better or for worse. The Exchange was bound to fail any moment now, so Olin didn't really see why the man was so desperate for a friendship between the organizations—but he humored him nevertheless.

Cardinal watched as Olin sat down and gave his condolences. Cardinal too sat down and got to the point straight away. "Here is why I asked for you to be here. My Mafia is ever growing, and I need as many contacts and allies I can get. I'm a businessman and entrepreneur of sorts. I like to make deals Mr. Tibur. I believe an alliance between the Exchange and my Mafia can be mutually beneficial to both of us." Cardinal smiled, the Exchange was not a very powerful organization, his own Mafia was becoming bigger, no Cardinal did not only want an alliance with the Exchange. Cardinal looked at the bigger picture, he wanted an alliance with Olin Tibur. The Exchange has assets yes, but the biggest asset was sir Tibur here. He was about as mysterious as a rich person got, no file, nothing on the man. A possible alliance between the two organizations might provide secrets as to the mysterious man's background. "I believe you are aware of the assets I wield and control? I hope this does not sound like a threat." Cardinal chuckled, no Cardinal would not even imagine of threatening this man, they were much alike! "What I was meaning is that with my assets and power, and your knowledge of the Outer Rim areas, I believe we can bring both our organizations above all others." Cardinal indeed did have to expand into the Outer Rim planets, true he had several holdings in Nar Shadda, but he wanted to go bigger.

"
For instance, take the Red Skull gang. After their leader's sudden disappearance, the leadership has gone wild trying to find a new leader, I wish to take this weakness and attempt to crush it, and absorb their gang into possibly our alliance, keep it as a puppet of sorts." Cardinal said, he knew this was a lot of information to process, but he knew a man like Olin should be able to keep up, otherwise he would just find himself lagging behind in the dust.....like so many others before him.
