Thread to help the Republic, anyone?

Hey, does anyone want to help my character, @Joesh Noorm-Nal , to smuggle some arms from Hutt space to the Republic? Independent or other factions welcome. Reply if you're interested! Thanks!

I can't help with the smuggling itself, but I'm sure my character would be more than happy to provide a safe drop-off for the smuggled goods on Teyr.

Due to the large amounts of cruise ships, yachts, and other civilian ships near my planet, of which is near an intersection of bustling spaceways, if you were to land at a spaceport and transfer the goods to another vessel, it'd be almost impossible to track you.

@Adore To Nowhere It looks like no one else is going to join, so what I could do is probably shift the focus of the mission from flying the weapons to avoiding the security, etc. on Teyr. How does that sound?

@Adore To Nowhere I'm so sorry, I've been misunderstanding this whole thing. You meant drop-off as in drop them off to you, not drop off as in you drop them off to me and I take them to the Republic. I may have to re-tool this mission a little bit to add some difficulty, but I'll figure something out.

OK, what if the story goes somewhat like this:

You have a shipment of weapons for the front lines, I pick it up, while we're there, a gang tries to steal the weapons, we scare them off and I'm on my way to the front lines.

How does that sound?

I'm not so sure how my character would procure such weapons, or why she would get involved in doing so directly.

Perhaps it would make more sense to have your character smuggle such weapons to Teyr in order to transfer them to a different ship, which you would intend to steal, only for said ship to be a yacht/shuttle/whatever that was meant to transport my character to some banquet or something.

After a short confrontation, you would explain why you needed the ship (to help The Republic on the front lines), and I would proceed to help them.
