Three Novels Announced at NYCC

Three new novels have been announced at New York Comic Con. Two were already known, but we have the full titles: Chuck Wendig's Aftermath: Life Debt will be released in the summer of 2016, and Aftermath: Empire's End will be released in 2017. Claudia Gray, who wrote Lost Stars, is writing a book set 6 years before The Force Awakens called New Republic: Bloodline.

Does that mean we'll get some novels chronicling the short life of the New Republic?

After doing a bit of research, it looks like a few other things where announced. Specificall, an E-Book exclusive and a collection of short stories based around new aliens. Pretty much the same thing as the Tales From series. Its even called Tales From a Galaxy Far, Far Away - Aliens.

Are the two Aftermath novels direct sequels to Aftermath itself? If so... no, more Norra... :(

Presumably they are. But the title Life Debt almost makes it sound like it will pick up where the Han and Chewie interlude left off.
