DESCRIPTION​

The Thunderslug was one of the last true pulse wave pistols to see regular mass production as blaster technology matured into mainstream use. Produced by Rimfire Munitions, the Thunderslug was one of the products that helped establish the companies trademark style- Unremarkable products, decent quality, reasonable prices. Like all pulse wave weapons it packs a powerful punch at close range, but the bolts quickly lose cohesion and power. That close range damage and the molecular level destruction that comes with it means that the weapon is universally banned in civilized systems in favor of more humane weapons. It's still a common sight in the rim, where laws haven't quiet kept up with the times.

Pulse Wave Blasters, while on the verge of being antiquated, are still a common sight in seedier parts of the galaxy. While their destructive power means they are banned in much of the core, they are a favorite among questionable bounty hunters, pirates, and others in the Rim unconcerned with societies laws.
